Confia Collective is woman-owned and in the business of good vibes. If you've ever been curious…read moreabout healing crystals, herb smudging, and affirmations; or enjoy exploring different spiritual tools for developing your own intuition, this is the place for you. I must have walked by 5x previously before ever getting the chance to check out inside but it finally happened! From the outside, you can tell it's a happy place - colorful yarn creations and dried herb and flower bundles and disco balls by the windows let you know you're about to have a good time. I loved how positive and helpful everyone was inside. Even if it's not for you, it's great for understanding your astrology- and crystal-minded friends, and get cute gifts for them (and you!) at the same time. There is an upstairs area where they offer get-togethers and classes if you want to know more. These include sound baths, breathwork, and tarot and astrology readings. Their calendar of events can be found on their website. They just opened last September 2022, and will be open early on farmers market days moving forward. Welcome to the neighborhood!

To respond to Dianne F.'s reply: "The person you described as Mr. Mask comes from a highly attuned…read morespiritual family, so I'm sad to see you describe him in the way you did." Just because a person comes from a "highly attuned spiritual family" doesn't mean they're also highly spiritually attuned -- that's like saying "she comes from a highly musical family" but she can't carry a tune or keep the beat. (I myself come from an *extremely* Christian family -- Bible Belt! -- but I have since learned the truth about that religion and am no longer the slightest bit Christian nor will I ever be again.) As I said, both my husband and I are *extremely* intuitive and can sense people's energy, and the energy we get from this man is "used car salesman" with not a shred of spirituality. In any case, his pushy car-salesman attitude was the real issue. That said, my husband and I did stop by the Youngfield store a couple days ago, and although we didn't encounter "Mr Mask" (and mask or not, the attitude was the problem) the lady at the register was also very "car-lot sales-y", listing off all the things on sale, the readings going on that day, etc. While some might find that helpful, we found it rather off-putting, as we had come in for a specific purpose, not a 3-minute sales pitch. There is nothing wrong with welcoming customers in and saying, "If you need any help just let us know." (Ashley at the 44th Ave location got this right, every time!) But the pushy attitude we've repeatedly encountered makes us reluctant to shop here.

The vibes in this place is waaaayy off! Honestly do not come here. I'm a woman of color and the…read moremoment I walked in I felt negativity. I was followed around by three different employees constantly asking me if I needed help and staring me down. Even if I look at the situation differently they don't even allow people the space, freedom or even privacy to choose what they need themselves or the chance to ask for help if they need it. Instead they all hound you down like you're in a clothing department store and make you feel uncomfortable. Especially the guy working there with the gray/white hair was orchestrating all of the employees around. Another reviewer mentioned this and yes there is a strong atmosphere of intolerance, paranoia, judgement and deeper under lining issues. I was standing in line behind a gentleman and when it was my turn at the counter, the guy with the gray/white hair told the lady working the counter to leave the counter and told another lady to come check me out which was odd and he had a very nasty look on his face. Then the lady at the counter asked me if I had a membership and I said no, She then says "ok don't worry we are not pushy" and then proceeds to laugh and say "at least I don't think so". They know exactly what they are doing. If a spiritual store is worried about people stealing or whatever then they you are NOT the real deal and it is a reflection of who they are and what they are actually doing. If you are alarmed or uncomfortable by a women of color coming into your shop while your shop is named Goddess/Isis you should NOT be in business! This place is not sacred or safe. Buy your stuff online or go to a place with integrity, a place that has respect and honors spirituality and people, all people. Avoid this place and do not support this business.

She said that we would have two children, which we did. She also told me to never tell my future husband that he was wrong. I did not heed that advice. Over the years, I consulted Josie a few other times. On one occasion, when my son was three, I went to see her. I don't remember most of that reading, except for when Josie smiled and said, "The spirits are laughing because your son loves broccoli." He DID! And still does! I hated it as a child. Another time, she told me that there were two little girls looking over my shoulder. One was sad, and one was laughing. I had a miscarriage, and then I had my daughter. On one other visit, while my father was still alive, she told me that his friends were waiting for him. She described Jack Pershing III perfectly. I didn't even know that he had passed. I called my mother and asked if Colonel Pershing was still alive. He had died in 1999. She also described two of Daddy's other military friends. They, too, were gone. And I didn't know. Josie is gifted. I am logical and very analytical. I cannot explain any of this. While not everything came to pass, or could be verified, the things that she said that were true astonished me. Josie is a lovely and kind person, with a very calm and soothing manner. She doesn't sugarcoat bad news, but delivers it kindly. She's not inexpensive. But you might be amazed, as I was.
