Had a document that I needed signed right away. I was supposed to get the document last week, but apparently my agent's escrow company forgot to send it over. Frantically, looked at options for a notary. Both of us work full time and with a 2 year old, going anywhere is an event. I looked at the address and was surprised and happy that she was near by. When reached out to her via e-mail, she initially said that she doesn't offer a walk-in service and was bummed. With nothing to lose (except a lot of aggravation), I asked her if she would if we agreed to pay a travel fee plus her standard service fee. She was very accommodating and very responsive to my questions. She saved us a lot of headache. She was prompt and the transaction was handled swiftly and professionally. I needed a notary to take my attorney's oath and had no clue that it didn't take a special one (i.e., there's no special authorization they have to have to take these oaths). 5-star mobile notary! Needing a notary for an elderly father who cannot easily leave his house in the Leimert Park area. I travel to LA from out of town to take care of my father, an elderly widower, so my time in LA needs to be efficient. I am handling many legal matters from my Mom's passing and my father's brother's passing. I have called on Carmen several times and she is excellent. I contact her via text. I include: a day, a time, how many documents (signatures) I need notarized, and give her the address.
