We had a reservation for 9 tonight and this place was a wonderful find. We had numerous types of pastas, pizzas, appetizers, breads, and everything was delicious. They also accommodated a gluten-free allergen, and they had many options to choose from. Our drinks consisted of beers, cocktails, and baileys coffees with tiramisu for dessert. Everything was on-point! As for the service, Rachel and Antonella took excellent care of us tonight. And with 9 people, they were busy! They were patient, kind, helpful, prompt, and engaged with us all during our stay. They were on-point! The establishment was quaint and lively and certainly looked to be a locals favorite. I can only give praise, no negative comments, and highly recommend. Thank you all for a fabulous time! From your Cincinnati, Ohio friends!!

The food is good and fresh. Fast service and the staff are nice. Free WiFi. Nice little town to take the train from Dublin and spend your day.

Great place to eat real Italian food! Service is very good and fast and the food is really delicious. And to finish nothing better than the real coffee (Segafredo expresso)! Only four stars because the place is a bit small and can get too packed, too fast, too often... And for the Irish that still reject real food and prefer the usual sausages with bacon (Irish fried) don't worry as they do serve that as well :-)

Stopped in for coffee so my review is purely based on the quality of their beverages. Good coffee albeit a bit weak and the Italian hot chocolate is delish :-) would come back to try the food.

Meh... The place itself is really quaint and the staff are very friendly however my risotto was not good. It was clumpy and dry instead of smooth and creamy. The flavours were good however a little too strong. My Mam got the salmon she said it was nice but nothing special. I wont be back in a rush but if i am next time it'll be for the pizza as it looked delish!

Got invited along to an occasion here last weekend and used said voucher. The menu really impressed me, seemed very authentic with many options not often seen at your usual run of the mill Italian. I went for the venison sausage with berry and red onion reduction for starter and wild boar bolognese with papardelle fresh egg pasta topped with parmesan cheese. Both were top notch and I'd recommend both for sure. We finished by sharing the homemade tiramisu and a chocolate cherry cake, both didn't last long, the tiramisu in particular was bloody fantastic. Nice as I've had :)

At one stage there were three in the village but they all closed their doors in recent years. They serve authentic Italian food, with an emphasis on freshly made items like pasta and tiramisu (one of the best I've had). The service is fantastic and there is value to be had in the Early bird or voucher offers to be found on the usual discount sites, though the ala carte menu is definitely on the pricier side. No better (or other!) place to look for a good feed of Italian fare in Swords; you'll get a warm welcome and be looked after very well if our experience was anything to go by!

I always bring overseas visitors here as it's a guaranteed great meal. I've never had a bad food experience here. The ambiance is lovely and the only downside to this restaurant is that it isn't larger. Its small size puts time pressure on both staff and patrons. I would give it four stars for that reason if I could bring myself to, which I can't because the food's too good! :) My advice to patrons would be to book a table at IL Vicoletto outside of the weekend dinner evening rush. The homemade pasta is an experienced to be savored, especially if you order the wild boar ragu.

We ordered two glasses of Barbera wine as our cocktail, followed by calamari, pappardelle al funghi and ravioli Asiago. The wine was perfect and complimented our meal. Our server Massimo brought out some bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar to start our meal. The calamari was amongst the best I've ever had, the breading was light and crispy. Both our pasta dishes were divine and authentic. At the end of our meal we had some espresso and were given complementary limoncello shots. Il Vicoletto was amongst the best restaurants we visited during our trip to Dublin. I highly recommend for anyone looking to eat great Italian food.
