The 100 Foot Christmas Tree in Delray in iconic! They put it up every year for the holidays. It looks extra spectacular at night. You can walk inside and there are 4 different exhibits from local museums. My son loves watching the trains drive around. You can buy extra tickets for the merry-go-round, ice-skating and to meet Santa. Parking is very pricy so if you don't mind walking a bit, you should look for a more economic garage. I make it a tradition to come here every year!

The hotel was built in the Spanish Colonial Revival-style of architecture and it opened in 1926 as the Alterep Hotel during Florida's wealthy land boom years. It's distinctive yellow color and history makes it one of the most recognizable buildings in Delray Beach. The are several little shops in this area of the building including Beach Paradise, a women's clothing store and a gift shop, Just Hearts. Salutations of Delray was started by Diana Bush in 2004 as a result of searching for invitations to purchase for her daughters upcoming wedding. They specialize in custom wedding invitations and announcements along with custom stationary and greeting cards. Other things they carry included linen towels with funny phrases, Pampa Bay tableware, Nora Fleming stoneware, Thymes Frasier Fir candles and diffusers, items that can be personalized, children's gifts. and party supplies. The store motto is "Everyday is an occasion...celebrate in style!" Writing a letter and personalized stationary seems to be a kind of lost art in the email world of today and I love that you can rediscover that here. They will also help you craft the perfect invitation or announcement and don't forget that there are so many unique and whimsical items for gifts or gifting yourself. If you are in the downtown Delray Beach area, this store is an elegant and fun stop to make.

They really worked with me to find the most tasteful arrangement using her favorite color among traditional white flowers. The delivery was great; the driver sent a couple of updates, and was very nice. The kindness of management, smoothness of delivery and the prices make this a wonderful place. I would make this my go-to florist.

I have put my trust in this flower company to send THEE most BEAUTIFUL flower arrangements to my fiancés family. The owner is so personable and easy to communicate with! I sent flowers to my fiancés mom days before actually meeting her in person and the flowers were sitting on her coffee table, I saw them in picture (the owner sent me pictures before sending out the arrangement) and they were even more beautiful in person! The owner truly is a floral artist. My fiancés mom said that they were "OUTSTANDING!!" I have 100% trust in this company, I've ordered twice and will continue to order from this company in the future. My only wish was that they could be based in Chicago so I can display these flowers in my home!

The event is held over a weekend on both Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 4. This was my first year attending and I was impressed by how large the festival was. Over 150 vendors from all over Florida and the country lined two full streets selling art, garden decorations, home decor, pet items, beauty items, and food. I definitely saw some cool things I've never seen before. I ended up by buying a bromeliad with orchids to hang on my front porch, a wooden Great Blue Heron and egret for my garden, glass earrings and a heart necklace, and a plumeria plant that is just a stick right now but hopefully in 6 months it will be blooming with beautiful flowers. I also found some pretty ornaments for Christmas presents. I could have spent a lot more money if I had it. The vendors were many and varied. I can see why this festival has lasted so long. There are also a ton of restaurants to eat at and places to shop within walking distance of the festival. I couldn't leave the area without popping into Proper Ice Cream for my favorite honeycomb flavor. The weather was delightful for a divine day of shopping. It was a perfect Sunday afternoon.
