Ollie's might be a good store for bargains, but they do not care about customers' safety. In May, 2025, I slipped and fell on a comfort mat used by the adjacent cashier. The barrier wall between the two cashiers only reached as far as the cash registers, leaving an open area, photos show more. You can even see another customer with her heel on the mat that caused my fall. The store manager admitted to me the aisles are too narrow and the mats are not secured to the floor. From the video, he confirmed that I slipped on the cashier's adjacent mat. Corporate Ollie's rejected responsibility and said that I was the cause of the fall. Very disgraceful. What they care about is jamming in as many aisles as possible, making more money, and lack of regard for customer safety. read more

This is definitely a bargain outlet concept, but I actually found most of their prices to be the same as Walmart or even more expensive than Walmart. There is a very large variety of most things you would find at any other discount store and the organization of rows were full of merchandise but not alot of signage to find things easily without just roaming and hoping to come across a good find which I didn't find. read more

I visited Ollies for the first time as I had heard so many things about this place so I decided to give it a try and see what the hype was all about. They have many bargains. And if buying any food items, check the expiration dates. I saw a few expired items and a few more expiring soon, if you don't plan to use something right away and are picky about dates on food, you might want to stay clear. I bought some old school candy that I had not seen in a while and their candy selection is good. This place the inventory changes constantly. If you see something and you like to buy it right away. It won't be there next time you go. Overall service is pleasant, the selection is pretty good, and they have a little of everything and prices depending on what you are getting. The place was a mess. The back aisle was loaded with merchandise so u could not get through. Generally the place was a mess. We went to check out and the cashier had no idea how to ring up the item we were purchasing. After questions to the other busy cashier she still did not know how to ring it up. Finally a management person came out of the office and showed her what to do. I was in retailing for 40 plus years and during that time i was a department store manager for 25 years. Bring your walking shoes and a lot of patience. We'd been to their store located in West Palm -- so we knew what to expect. I will say this store seems larger and cleaner than the one we previously went to. I don't always do too well at these large stores, but we surprisingly found some things we could use along with a few things we needed. I've been shopping at odd lot, big lot, and job lot stores for more than 50 years. And I've learned how to search out the deals. There's a caveat when you shop here, however. You should know what the "regular" price of an item is before you buy. Other wise it may not be such a bargain. And if buying any food items, check the expiration dates. You will see Ollie's bucktooth grin all over the store. In 1994 the company started their loyalty program called Ollie's Army which you can sign up for on their website. For every $1 you spend, you get one point. Points move you up the rank and earn you discount coupons off your purchase. According to the company, Ollie's Army get you "good stuff...even cheaper". Currently there are 408 stores in 28 states, several of which are in Florida. Ollie's purchases company liquidations, overstocks, and older items that haven't sold, and resells them in their stores for a discount. You can expect to see name brand items. I had previously shopped at the store in West Palm Beach and really liked it and so I was excited to see that this store had opened in March in the Delray Square shopping plaza. The store was clean and well organized. Some of my finds today included a giant box of my favorite pretzels for only $4, K-cups for $3, and some cleaning supplies. This is the kind of store where you come in for one thing and pretty soon you have a cart full of stuff. I really like the snack aisle which is filled with inexpensive and unique items. I was on a mission to find a few inexpensive plush dog toys and I found a vast selection, but in my opinion the prices were high; compared to Pet Supermarket etc. They have a nice selection of crock pots, air fryers and other kitchen appliances, however the prices were high compared to Target, Walmart & Amazon. I came here expecting to snag some bargains but I left empty handed. The store is large, well stocked but not clean. I actually couldn't wait to leave. A positive is their staff are knowledgeable and helpful. The two associates I spoke to were very nice and directed me to the correct isles. The store has a bit of everything; kitchen appliances, pet supplies, k cups, linens, books, pillows, laundry products, baking tools etc. It's worth a look around because they told me their inventory changes daily & you never know what you will find. I first heard about Ollie's on Tik Tok, where one user said it's the place unsold Target merchandise goes after their new stock comes in. Intrigued, I stopped by to take a look. They definitely did have some stuff that I've seen at Target and some of the prices were very good. I picked up some name brand cereal for $2, a big box of nitrile gloves for $2, a big box of kid snack packs for $4, Seventh Generation cleaning products for $1.50 and also some toys for birthday presents which were over 50% less than what I saw online. Not everything was a great deal though. I price checked some of their laundry supplies and small appliances and found that they were on par or even higher than what was online. So you definitely need to do your homework. But there were indeed some deals to be had, no doubt about it. While there wasn't enough there for me to warrant frequent visits, I could definitely see why people would stop in every month or two, especially in this economic environment where people are trying to save whatever they can. Ollie's is pretty cool as far as discount stores go and worth a look for bargain hunters. I would give them 3 stars. read more

This store is a pleasant experience for those looking for a bargain item, close outs, and knowing that you may not find same items again. The employees are always nice and appear caring which is nice in Southern Florida. The bad .... The store is always messy and torn up. A lot of items are still in the shipping boxes and tossed on shelves with one end open. You may find some items in wrong area completely. The good ... without long searches and a lot of time you seem to find several items wanted at lower price than those big box stores. We often find candy, deodorant, cleaners, car cleaning items, tshirts, and more. Just don't expect to find it next visit. We have found rugs, mattresses, and other oddities like generators while visiting. Checkouts move fast and employees are great ! read more
