For the price you can't beat this quality food. They make all of their own dressings and sauces. They also allow for half orders on many things which make the serving size reasonable and the price good. Boyfriend had the Fish and chips and liked it. I had half size pub salad with yummy dressing and the Chicken Asian bowl with another great sauce (peanut). Fast and friendly service. Pub atmosphere and outdoor seating with dogs. This restaurant is incredible. A must try if you pass through oakridge. The atmosphere was mellow and peaceful. The workers were polite, and patient. And the food was delicious. 10/10 recommend this place. It even has board games, pool, and books if you're bored. read more

Perhaps it's because I'm old school and have frequented this place since 2010 when it was Brewers Union and was (at the time) a coveted spot for hard care recreationists, but those days are gone and it's no longer the epicenter for us rugged outdoor enthusiasts. The mountain bike maps are gone, the fly fishing community has withdrawn, and even the local flair has waned. The beer is fair to meddling, the food is the same, so all told the place is OK, but a shell of its former glory. read more

Super cool spot in a sleepy, old town. Not far from the highway. Definitely great place to stop and take a break. In the style of an english pub. Nice indoor space with cozy spots to sit. Several large, covered picnic tables out from with a view down main street. Lots of dark beers on tap. Nice selection of sandwiches. I only had the hot dog and cole slaw but both were tasty and luscious. Friendly service. It was just a quick stop this time but definitely worth coming back! read more

Partner and I got drinks and dinner over valentines weekend while camping nearby. Partner got bangers and mash, I got cottage pie. We got cider and a vodka sprite. Bartender was a kind and funny conversationalist, and educated us on the founder/former owner of the bar, Ted. The food and drinks were amazing, tasted so fresh and homemade. The wait for the food was slightly long, but was expected due to it being somewhat busy this evening. Would definitely recommend to anyone local/passing through. read more

I am so happy to report this lovely pub and restaurant is okay with all the fires around the area! This review is way overdue. In early July, we had a super experience all around at 3-Legged Crane. We stopped in for lunch before heading to Waldo Lake camping (hoping this spectacular place will be okay). Greeted warmly by someone I assume is the owner? He explained you can order beer on tap or cask. I don't know enough about beers to explain in further detail, but go there and experience it for yourself! We found a really pleasant spot outside under their sidewalk patio shelter. Food came promptly. I had the hot turkey and brie sandwich special, decadent, rich and yumsters. Served with a gigantor fresh greens salad, such a nice balance with the sammie. Hubs had the BLT with sweet potato fries. Also, delish! There are tons of vegan options like tempeh instead of burgers for you vegans out there. Did not have a great experience with service or food. I had a French dip which didn't have good flavor. It just seemed a little off. After dropping off my food, I was never checked on and had to get up and ask for a check in order to leave. Could've been bad timing, but it's not a place I would recommend. read more

Always a great time after a long day on the mountains. I'll regularly visit when I have full Patrol weekend duty at Willy P and get one of the AirBnBs upstairs from the pub. I learned of this place from others when I first moved to town and they always raved about the Hungarian Mushroom Soup. Although I haven't ate here, I was mainly here for beer. That's why it's a 4-star for now. Perhaps this upcoming season I will indulge in the menu. Service can be on point or struggle a little but with a single bar hand this isn't fast food or a lil Taphouse. It's a beautiful neighborhood bar with an amazing neighborhood vibe. The live music is a nice touch too. Until then, I look forward to many more visits. read more

We ate the Three Legged Crane twice while staying near Oakridge. The first time the DW and I split the chili cheese hotdog and the Poutine. The hotdog turns out to be two dogs in thew good sized bun. The chili was very good - just enough heat to be tasty but not overwhelming. The Poutine used mushroom gravy rather than a traditional brown one but it was excellent. Better in fact than the Canadian's version. The fries were just the way i like them; brown outside, soft inside. The cheese was ok as there could have been a bit more. The second visit we tried the hamburger Chef's Salad. The burger was good sized but done more than I like (my fault for not asking for medium rare). The salad was generous and filling. Neither of us are beer drinkers, but the cask beer intrigued us. Next time we will try it as it seems to be very popular. read more

I am a huge nerd for true cask ale and their's is exceptional. I am doubly pumped when a brewpub takes the food as seriously as the ale. The service is always friendly. The vibes immaculate. This is a pillar of the Oakridge life for me. read more

We traveled from Hwy 126 over to Oakridge via the Aufderheide 19 Scenic Hwy. When we got to Oakridge we stumbled on to this brewery, it was a pleasant surprise! Great food and really good beer! Wait staff was very friendly. It's off the main drag going thru Oakridge but worth finding! We will definitely go back. read more

We had lunch at this great spot with our son who recommended it. They have a nice outdoor seating area but it was pretty hot that day so we opted for inside in their cool rustic bar. Bubba was friendly & promptly greeted us & told us to sit wherever we preferred. We started with a beer each- they have a nice selection of choices- my husband & son got an IPA & I got a kolsch- while we looked over their menu. We all decided on burgers- my husband got jalapeño pepper Jack, I got the mushroom Swiss & our son got the blue cheese bacon apple burger. They were all amazing- cooked to the doneness we each ordered with each of us choosing our own side- I got the hand cut fries (delicious!) my husband got their chili- so good- & our son got a side salad. A nice place for some time with friends/family. A very pleasant, comfortable feel fills the place, giving it that "Pub" atmosphere. The food (Mushroom poutine, Fish and Chips and a wonderful Cobb Salad) was beyond delicious. The beverages, Spiced cider with a shot of blackberry whiskey, and the Scottish Ale (called Itz nott a skirt) was fantastic. Also enjoyed the taste of the stout-black cafe. While they may present a small menu, there are a number of goods to try. This evening they also shared Shepard's pie with a side salad. We are looking forward to our next visit, as soon as possible. Nice little brewpub off the beaten path in Oakridge. Delicious burger with BBQ sauce and cheddar, perfect taste! Home fries were hot and crispy. It is possible that some people only think of highway 58 through Oakridge when it comes to dining options but I hope more people decide to make the tiniest detour to try the rest of what Oakridge has to offer. We chose to try the Crane for lunch right as they opened on a Friday so we were almost literally the only people in the place. Loved the vibe, low ceilings, but lots of light and well worn real wood everywhere. The seating is all mismatched and homey. We sat by a window near the bar and of course were helped right away. We ordered spinach dip, a mini jalapeno cheeseburger and fish and chips. I quite enjoyed my tiny burger (not quite a slider but not a huge one either) and the sweet potato fries were very good. The dip was so-so, too blended for me and not a ton of flavor but I really appreciated the fresh veggies with it and the pita bread. The server was nice and prompt and we left happy! read more

Have stopped in a couple times for a post mountain bike ride brew and for dinner once. Excellent burgers. Fantastic fries. They have some good in house brews. The service is what you would expect for a small town with limited resources. Order at the bar, delivered to your table and pay at the bar. There is a very comfortable feel inside. Eclectic. Historical. Had a good guitarist the night we visited. Highly recommend stopping by and enjoy yourself. read more

If you travel Hwy 58 and go through Oakridge, you should stop at the 3 Legged Crane. If good food, an eclectic atmosphere, and craft beer are things you enjoy this brewpub is worth the stop. The staff was friendly, and willing to accommodate special orders. The food portions are generous, and made fresh from fresh ingredients. We ordered a flight of beers, and they were all amazing. My favorite was the Stout Mexican Mocha, with a Northwest IPA finishing a close second. All 4 beers on our flight were stellar. As I'm a home brewer/winemaker for almost 50 yrs you have to bring your best to impress me, and they did! I will stop here every time I drive Hwy 58. read more

Great place to take your sweetie to get away from the city. Good beers on tap, they even have a non alcoholic beet not on tap. Food is excellent . We had fish and chips. You can have 3 piece or 4 piece if cod. Basic simply good food and comfy atmosphere. Friday night there was music by Oregon musician .Great music@ 3legged crane pub. This review is for Three Legged Crane, since I didn't find a yelp business with that name. As you may or may not know, Brewers Union is now Three Legged Crane. On to the review! The burger and brew I had were really good! The bun was soft, and the veggies were fresh, cool, and crisp. The hamburger was perfectly cooked to medium, with the cheddar cheese melted on top. The fries were cooked to perfection also, crisp but not too crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and salted just right. The Amber beer was really good too! Found this place on Yelp sand decided to stop here for lunch. We loved the atmosphere of this place. Feels like it would be a great place to hang out at night. I had some fish tacos and a dark beer. Both were really yummy. My bF had a turkey sandwich with sweet potato fries. Our friends had a salad and a Reuben sandwich! Everyone was happy with their selections! This is an amazing pub. Alex was really friendly and welcoming. The lager she recommended was delicious and the fish and chips were better than anything I've gotten, even at the coast.
