The best pizza experience I've ever had as a person with Celiac disease. They had a detailed list of ingredients in the crusts available. They also had gluten free beer options. What blew me away is they accidentally touched my pizza with the wrong knife in the kitchen and immediately fully remade it. They felt terrible it happened but I honestly felt that much more safe that they owned it and fixed it. I literally never would have known until I got sick if they hadn't said something. We recently gave 640 Pizza a try with a group of 9 (was supposed to be 11) people, which already feels like the beginning of a reality TV challenge. Since they do not take reservations, we stopped by early hoping to get on a waitlist. The hostess was super helpful and gave us a realistic recommendation on the best time to return when we would have a fighting chance at getting seated together. Honest AND strategic... we appreciated that! Of course as the number in our party dropped it helped, just saying! Currently only the downstairs dining area is open, but once seated, service moved quickly and the food came out fast. We ordered ravioli appetizers that apparently entered the witness protection program and never made it to the table due to a communication mix-up. Honestly, I am blaming one of our table mates for that one and not the server. Now for the important part... the cheesy breadsticks were AMAZING. Like "everyone suddenly gets quiet at the table" amazing. We shared several pizzas, and while both that I tried were delicious, the Carnivore pizza definitely won my personal pizza championship over the Meet Me in Weston. Bonus points for the crust options available too! Overall, great atmosphere, friendly staff, quick service, and really good pizza. We will absolutely be back... but next time we are putting someone in charge of ravioli accountability. Even better if they would take reservations as very few restaurants in Weston do! read more

We spent the day exploring Weston last week. Stopped in at The 640 Pizza & Pints. What a nice establishment with friendly and helpful staff. Had an order of wings. Wings were good, juicy and meaty. Would give them 4 stars. Had a calzone. It was tremendous. Very, very large with lots of filing. Comes with cheese and up to 4 items. We did sausage and onion. It was delicious. They were 5 stars, although would have given them a higher rating if possible. Also, had an order of pretzel sticks. Comes with a cheese sauce and a ground mustard sauced. They were delicious. As first-timers, we were a bit confused at first--standing there awkwardly in the doorway, not quite sure where to go. Turns out, there's a counter at the back of the store where you check in (lesson learned for next time). Once we figured it out, we were seated right away. I ordered a water and a Diet Pepsi (I guess Coke and Coke Zero are a rare sight in Weston--don't ask me why, but I made do with the Pepsi). For food, I went with the side salad, and my husband and I shared the "Meat Me in Weston" pizza on thin crust, minus the olives and mushrooms (compromises, you know?). The pizza came out hot and crispy, and it was delicious! The salad was fresh and light, which was a nice balance to the pizza. It was fun to watch a steady stream of to-go boxes flying out the door during our visit--clearly, this little gem has a loyal following! It's typical American pizza, no Chicago style or NY, but it's significantly better than other pizza places out there. Was in Westin for the Holiday Open weekend and we were hungry after all the shopping! We saw a chalkboard sign on the sidewalk raving about pizza, so might as well give it a try! The restaurant is small but mighty, and the staff was pumping out pies, carry outs, and cold beer all night! We got the fried ravioli (which were delicious and HOT!) we tried the cheese sticks, which are almost a meal within itself, and all under $8! We were served beer bottles as there is no drafts, yet they serve them with chilled glasses which was a delight. The build your own was fun, and the original crust is good! Not too salty, not too chewy, and not dry. The thin crust we tried on the taco pizza, delicious and crispy! Everything came out hot and fresh and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We got there on a Saturday night around 6, there was a little wait for a table but because it was just 2 of us we chose to sit at the counter. We were greeted right away, and our drinks arrived promptly. I ordered the Dr. Taco Lovegun Pizza with the original crust. It was amazing, burger, refried beans mozzarella and cheddar cheese topped with lettuce and tomato. Highly recommend. They have a family special on Wednesday that consists of 1 Large Specialty pizza, 1 Large 2 topping, and an order of cheese bread sticks for $30. Great value. We were able to sit down after a short wait, there wasn't a place to wait other than standing awkwardly in front of the door (tight space but they make it work.) We ended up taking the waiter's suggestion of the screamin chicken and added cream cheese and WOW that was one of the best pizzas I've ever had. It was spicy but not too spicy and with the addition of the cream cheese it really leveled it out and made it absolutely perfect! Had a great lunch this afternoon after hiking at Weston Bend State Park. Ordered Alfredo Breadsticks and a Medium Hamburger pizza. Had a coke and a water to drink. Waitress suggested the Alfredo over the cheese breadsticks and she was spot on. Original crust on the pizza and it was thin with a thicker crust and cooked perfectly. We stopped in to eat here after getting a lot of suggestions from a coworker on post. It was slightly confusing when we entered because the sign said wait to be seated but the hostess stand/register is in the back of the restaurant. (You need to check in there to get on the list). The wait wasn't too long though but as we waited we overheard a guest leaving and telling those that were waiting for a table that if they came for the pizza that it is well worth it! Once we were seated and ordered our drinks we started off with an order of cheesy bread. It was well toasted and really cheesy. Everyone liked it! We ended up ordering 3 small pizzas so that we could try them out. The first was the home slice. It had pepperoni, cream cheese, and pickles and it was very well seasoned and super creamy!! 9 out of 10 Probably my favorite out of the 3. The next was the sweet Thai chicken which was not super sweet and not at all spicy, but was flavored well. 8 out of 10. And lastly was the chicken Alfredo pizza which was pretty much your standard chicken Alfredo pizza. Again though, it was flavored very well. 7 out of 10 None of the pizzas were greasy in any way! Will definitely be coming back to this place in the future! The restaurant is located in a super cool downtown setting with quite a few other restaurant and bars in the same area. This is a small mom and pop type joint where the wait staff are fantastic and food is amazing. Daily and weekend specials are available and beer is ice cold. We did arrive at lunch time with a very short wait, but chose to sit at the bar which allowed to seat almost immediately. As a guess, it was maybe 15-20 minutes from the order being placed to arriving at the table, and again it was a full house, and that is dang impressive! I've been wanting to try this place during our visit to the area. Definitely one of the best pizza restaurants in the Kansas City area. The food was very good and did not disappoint. We started off with the cheese breadsticks and they were amazing. The garlic butter they use is perfect. My Wife ordered the Home Slice Salad and it's more than enough for two. The salad was very good and fresh. We ordered a Canadian bacon and pepperoni pizza on the original crust and it was very good. Also got a pepperoni and sausage pizza on a thin crust. Both crusts were very good. I love the thin crust bc it was crispy. The only thing I will order differently when I return is to put the toppings on top of the cheese. I personally like my toppings on top bc I like them cooked more, especially the pepperoni. I also had to try the taco pizza. It was very good. I love the taco pizza. The service was very good too.
