Tuesdays are Taco Tuesday's and if you buy 3, you get a free 4th taco. I had 2 ground beef and 2 birria tacos as did my wife. Fresh homemade taco sauces to choose from. My first bite was in the birria taco and it burst with flavor - which says a lot because my taste buds aren't in full swing after having transplant surgery 3 weeks ago!! Wife really enjoyed them too. Go out and get you some! Pay attention to their hours of operation in that they shut down 2 hours each day for siesta! They reopen afterward.

I was in search of a breakfast/brunch option when I happened to spot their truck and decided to give them a try. They offer both sweet and savory crepes. They had a few savory offerings including the Caramelized Bacon Crepe which was perfect for my brunch craving. It had brown sugar bacon, spinach, mozzarella, and scrambled eggs. They gave me a pager after ordering. I started to walk around the festival thinking it would be a long wait, but it couldn't have been more than 5 minutes at most when the pager went off. The crepe was so good! The crepe itself was soft with crispy edges. The bacon was sweet, salty, smoky, and savory which I absolutely loved! It was so delicious and filling and held me over for most of the day. In addition to crepes, they sell cookie butter beignets as well as tea and lemonade. I'm kind of bummed I didn't try one of their beignets (the photos on IG look divine)! What a great discovery! If I have the opportunity to visit Little Rock again, I'll seek them out so I can try one of the beignets!

When I had previously heard about baleadas, it was primarily in the context of the sencilla (simple) variety - traditionally had for breakfast and filled with just cheese and beans, almost like a pupusa with lighter dough. Here, I tried what I assume to be a more updated take on the dish, filled to a voluminous extent with avocado, plantain, and a protein of your choice (cauliflower for me). It was a delicious, filling meal in lively environs that I would certainly visit again.
