New customers have to pay attention when booking. You have to follow directions on his website and he doesn't do walk-ins. I've witnessed a few complaints about how particular he is with regard to this, but he is a one man operation and the time he spends on administrative items, like a new customer not able to follow his directions, is less time taking care of his customers. He has lots of classic grooming supplies and also makes some custom one's as well. I love his products and use them almost exclusively. TLDR: follow his instructions. Be on time. You'll get a great haircut and a fantastic experience. After a few years, he is not just my barber, but a friend. This is after I goofed up his instructions a few times. Love this place. I'm certain you will too.

Worst of all, when I asked for a shape-up for my beard, they did not even take a razor to my face to give my beard and mustache that "fresh out the shop, razor sharp look" to my beard. It basically looks like I cut it myself at home. The inside of the shop is really nice and very comfortable, friendly service and interesting barbers but I guess it just wasn't up to my standards.
