I've been coming here for 5 classes now. I'm completely new to aerial, but I already see so much improvement in just 5 classes. Each class is a little different, and I definitely recommend "shopping around" to see which instructor you prefer the most. For most of my classes I've been with Veronica on Sundays, and it has been such an amazing experience. Firstly, I was consistent for 3 weeks, then took a 5 month hiatus. Veronica remembered me instantly when I returned. Secondly, she's always looking out to make sure I'm safe whenever I'm doing anything. She's incredibly patient ensuring that I'm doing the form correctly and very knowledgeable in avoiding any potential mistakes or problems. Finally, she's aware of my own personal level and experience- she knows when to push me to try and do a little more. Finally this space is such a vibe! i've taken a couple classes and the instructors are so great and patient! obsessed with how thorough and intentional the class was from the warm up, conditioning, and how it ties into the sequence. rating would have been higher if the air conditioning was working! all the times i've been were a little uncomfortable with how hot and stuffy it was on the inside. will definitely come back once the cooling situation is resolved! read more

The energy here is soooo welcoming! This my first time taking a Lyra class and I left feeling so inspired.

This is my third time here, and every time I'm always surprised by the routines my body can follow. Im still a beginner but I've learned so much about body mechanics and weight distribution; muscles can only get you so far with this class. Teachers are always so supportive and knowledgable. Thanks and shout out to Jenn for being the best! The community is great too, made some new and supportive friends. I whole heartedly enjoy the classes but leaving it a 3 stars because of the AC issue. It wasn't working the last times I was here which I tried tolerating, but it's tough cuz I sweat easily. A little TMI, but this last time sweat dripped towards my feet while I was in the air and I almost slipped off the hammock; it really scared me being up there. Hoping this issue will be fixed, but if you go please be careful. read more

10/10 experience here. it's a bit difficult to find, as it's hidden amidst greenery, but street parking is plentiful and it's spacious inside. i loved my experience here! the class was very intimate and i found myself enjoying aerial play much more than i ever imagined. our instructor was so helpful and fun, and helped us celebrate a very special birthday. if you've never done silks or hoop before, i recommend it highly. it really touches on inner child play. i will warn you, i got quite nauseas after spinning around so please take care of yourself . read more

This is going to be a long one (I'm sorry): I was being treated badly by James at Cirque School in Hollywood and yes, I told their management. You see, I have always wanted to learn silks and he refused to teach me at all and so I learned NOTHING (BEWARE OF JAMES AT THAT SCHOOL). So, the search was on. It was between Aerial in Orange County and the Aerial House but I decided on the Aerial House due to (1) the website, (2) location, and (3) the actual decor of the place. It had a homey, vaudeville, circus-look that appealed to me. I decided to try the Aerial House and I met Anna's husband first and he was big, tall, handsome and VERY well spoken and some of the other people before taking a class. They COMPLETELY welcomed me and I was shocked. I did not expect that and so I nervously inquired about their classes. And then I decided to take the plunge. I informed them that I would be starting from scratch (since James wouldn't teach me anything). Thus, Saturday December 14th came and I was ANXIOUS. I got there early and was met by Anna. I was immediately struck by her complete beauty, smile, grace. Not only that, but she was SO warm and welcoming. But the question remained: "would she act like James?" And I was astounded when she ACTUALLY gave me compliments and told me that I could be in one of the shows. I was stunned (TRULY). I kept looking behind me, thinking that she was speaking about someone else and she wasn't, she was talking about....me...you see folks, I was EXPECTING a put down and I braced myself for it but it NEVER came and I was relieved. The class started and it ran SO SO SO SO SO well, her pacing was astounding and then she did something that I did NOT expect. She gave me attention and she did that with EVERYONE. I ended up doing my FIRST true foot lock and then I ended up doing my FIRST double foot lock but the icing on the cake? I ended up doing SPLITS IN THE SILKS. You see: I've been dreaming of this for a long time and to finally do it and on the first lesson, was soul shaking! I FINALLY felt that "YES!" moment! I actually KNOW that I am going to be in their shows VERY VERY VERY soon. This was an awakening. Why? Because she (Anna) flashed that magnificent smile and I felt IMMEDIATELY relaxed and when she told me I was an AWESOME student, the stain of James COMPLETELY washed away! To top it off: ALL of the students there were cheering me on! And I found myself doing the same thing for them! They were warm, inviting, and even told me about the package deals (that I WILL be getting soon). ***Side note*** what Anna and the others didn't know was: THAT Saturday, I just got out of the hospital and was thinking about canceling but I could feel the radiance of that place and so, I'm VERY glad that I didn't. Anna's parting words? "Don't lose the momentum and you can do this Bud." She didn't know that when I went to the restroom, I was HAPPILY emotional!!!!!! I TRULY was! I IMMEDIATELY booked for next Saturday!!!!!!!! Thank you Anna, and we will DEFINITELY speak about (1) a routine and (2) doing a show IMMEDIATELY in the school. P.S.: To Anna's husband: you can tun but you can't hide! LOL! I WILL be taking Hammock, Lyra, and Trapeze as well. THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH Anna! read more

I've been taking adult intro to silks classes for about a month now, and I absolutely love them!! I have limited mobility/strength in one knee, and all the instructors I've worked with so far have been incredibly understanding and willing to accommodate alternate exercises when working with me. I have a very limited history in dance or gymnastics (or really any physical exercise as an adult), but that hasn't stopped me from learning fun skills and exercises from the first class, and I've been told I'm make progress as the weeks progress. I've taken 3 or 4 Intro to Aerial (Hammock) classes with Courtney and one class with Lenise and both were amazing instructors! You start with warm up stretches and then work on techniques. It's a great workout and especially on the upper body and arms. I feel sore on my shoulders, arms, and upper back the next day. The stretches are definitely important, so try to come early or on time. At first I was not comfortable with the pressure of the hammock on my thighs and back, but it gets better the more you go and build up the strength and expectations. I definitely want to keep going and work on my memorizing the techniques and poses. Do not wear shorts! I wore shorts one day and regret it, because of the wrapping of hammocks on my thighs/ legs kind of burned. Not a good idea for a beginner! read more

I started my aerial class with Jenn Logan about 2 months ago. At first it was just a one time class which eventually became a future hobby! Jenn is an amazing instructor. During my first class, I had invited 4 of my friends and she was patient with all of us! She made sure to be very attentive with all of us and made sure we all had a great time. From that initial experience, I have been able to invite a couple more friends and some that have taken more classes! When we start, Jenn makes sure to introduce herself and get a quick background of everyone's first time! She will then begin with a nice warmup and some workout to get our bodies moving and warm. The class will take 90 mins and she makes sure to make good use of the class! Since then, I have now been to 4 of her classes and will continue taking more! read more

Had such a great time on a Friday night here! The space is beautiful and the class reservation was done super easy online. When I arrived I was greeted immediately by our instructor Jenn. She out us through an extensive warmup and was super accommodating to all levels that were in class. It was a full class so people were on the hammocks, silk ropes, and other apparatus.
