However the only saving grace WAS Dr. Bigby. After today I'm moving practices because my appointment which was booked months ago was removed from the schedule without warning. My husband and I both took off from work to attend our appointment only to find that the office dropped us because they claim they couldn't confirm my appointment since my voicemail was not set up (new phone). However they made no attempt to contact my husband or call our home #. Instead of apologizing for their mistake the Office Manager lied and claimed it was an office policy I had signed. When I asked to see the written policy I was then told the population they serve does not show up so this is what they pivoted to. Still with no apology. Clearly this place is not a fit because my husband and I keep our appointments; I'm not sure what population the Office Manager was referring to. I would not recommend this place to any parent who values their time and expects their doctor's office to act professionally.

My grandbaby had an appointment at this facility a few weeks ago and I decided to sign up for the ear piercing on the same day. Prior to the ear piercing, the "tech" marked my grandchild's ear with a purple dot for mapping of the piercing. During the piercing, the device that the tech was using to pierce the ears JAMMED and the tech could not get the device to release from my grandbaby's ear, so you can imagine how that went for my grandchild. On top of that, the tech missed the mark - she did not pierce the earlobe where indicated - instead she pierced the middle of the ear itself - missing the mark entirely. When I spoke to the officer manager about this mishap which is really a botching, the officer manager was insensitive towards the situation. The officer manager asked me how I would like this issue rectified - I asked for a refund. At first, the officer manager told me she would refund me HALF of the piercing. I asked for the total refund. As of today, I have not received any form of a refund nor a professional apology for the unprofessional services. The lack of professionalism speaks on the integrity of this facility. I don't trust this facility with anything at this point.

As a former healthcare worker, I appreciate Dr. Jawar being very professional, takes the time to listen to your concern (very rare in today's "healthcare field) he is very good with the children. His staff is excellent, very courteous, you get appointments in a reasonable time, the wait time to see Dr. Jawar is reasonable. Overall a wonderful pediatrics practice with a wonderful staff. Without taking a culture or sample, Dr. Jawar stated my daughter had Staff infection and a fungus. She has been back 2 times and each time we've gone back, her hair condition was worse. She has gotten boils and now has what appears to be permanent hair loss and she has 30% baldness on her scalp. Dr. Jawar stated she may permanently be bald in front of my (at the time) 9 year old daughter. Think of how this may impact her self image and self esteem. The front office staff is always rude as are the staff who answer the phone and do referrals. Dr. Jawar has a horrible bedside manner and seems to be offended by patients parents. I do believe he is condescending because he mostly serves indigent patients- those receiving government assisted insurance. I give him 1 start for getting his liscense, seeing my daughter on short notice and accepting Peachcare.

She's been involved in nearly every aspect of my daughter's health, even getting involved her educational needs. When we see her she asks about EVERYTHING that's happened since our previous visit. To make this fair, I have to point out that during Genesys' move from one location to another things got a little tricky.
