So not only is she insanely talented, she is the sweetest! Cristina is professional, on top of everything, so well-organized and the best to work with! We gave her an idea of what we were going for, and she created magic with it! My bouquet was EVERYTHING!!! Seriously, my jaw dropped when I saw my bouquet the day of our wedding. Cristina even recommended the ribbon we used on my bouquet and I swear, the little details like that, are what made everything so special! Our tall and low centerpieces were GORGEOUS, our florals on our sweetheart table were the prettiest I have ever seen, and I was just completely blown away with everything the day of! She also added fresh flowers to our cake, which was such a perfect touch! Her elegant florals complimented our beautiful church where we had our ceremony, and our ballroom where were had our reception. Seriously, her tall centerpieces are to die for!!!! Trust me! We are still receiving compliments from our guests! During the planning process, Cristina checked in on me multiple times to make sure we were on the same page with everything.     WOW - where do I start? I've been waiting to give Lisa my review until I could post my wedding…read morephotos too, but believe me -- I have not stopped thinking about what magic she created for my wedding day! Let me say first that I was such a scrappy DIY bride, so I was really looking for a day-of coordinator I could trust. I did many calls with other coordinators and I was looking out for folx who really pressure you to have a cookie cutter wedding and play into the wedding industry. Lisa was not like that at all, she felt like one of my friends and was totally on board with working with the blank canvas of my venue. She was so easy to work with and made me feel really confident the day-of. She was hands down the best money spent from all my vendors at my wedding. Examples of Lisa's magic: - She was a serious partner in crime! I come from a background of event planning myself, so I recognized that I was a bit of a hyper detailed and logistically obsessed bride. I literally had made my production schedule before I had even met with her! This type of thing would normally irritate the hell out of an event coordinator, but honestly Lisa just felt like someone who was my partner. She saw what I had created and helped me build off of what I got started and she just made me feel like I wasn't in it alone anymore. - She would go above and beyond! We had a mix-up with our cocktail hour where our caterer came in and left some of the food on the side where it wasn't easily found. Lisa and her assistant jumped in immediately once she saw the need. She straight up started serving our hor d'orves to all of our guests so that the food we spent good money on wouldn't be hidden in the corner. - She handled extra coordination with ease! We had a mariachi parade and a shuttle coming in and out of our venue. She was able to coordinate all of this seamlessly with her assistant. I was worried about the coordination of our shuttle in particular- and without a single worry my guests were coming in and speaking so highly of the amazing coordination of the entire day. These are just a few examples of how amazing Lisa is. So do yourself a favor and give her a call for your special day. This wedding was delayed and changed several times due to the lingering effects of COVID, and with each audible called, Lisa was not only able to adapt, but to flow with the change, keeping the Bride & Groom's wishes in mind, offering calm and supportive ideas throughout the process to ensure their dream wedding came true. Lisa offered attentive communication to her clients and the guests of a wedding, while utilizing a kind but firm approach to vendors, suppliers, and other associates in order to create the most beautiful moments to be cherished by the wedding party and the guests. The day of the wedding could not have gone more smooth. The Bride & Groom, the wedding party, the guests, were all cared for and treated with respect and courtesy. There was never any worry, about anything because "We got Lisa!" The day of ceremony breakfast, the pre wedding details of prep, guest management, and support for anything requested by/for the Bride & Groom, the ceremony, the dinner after, and the night time celebration could not have been more beautiful, serene, or better executed. Lisa also found ways to take initiative and offer thoughtful gifts or words to those in the wedding party. The last piece I need to share, is Lisa treated everyone with kindness and respect. The staff at the venue was eager and willing to help with any items requested, the servers at various restaurants could not have offered any better service.. Lisa has an incredible gift to love others up, which they in turn pass along to those they serve. Lisa is organized, more then capable, professional, an attentive listener, and will become family after working with her on YOUR wedding or event. On the day of the wedding, everyone was commenting on how beautiful and tasty the drinks were and how efficient and friendly Mia and her assistant were. One of our guests told us that the second he finished his beer, Mia swooped in and offered him a fresh one. Even though we had a signature cocktail list, our guests were raving about the customizations they were able to make and all the options she provided. Because we were doing a DIY backyard wedding, it was so helpful to have the extra packages to choose from so we didn't have to worry about all the logistics of providing ice, water, garnishes, etc. I would highly recommend booking Mia for any event, and I hope to work with her again in the future. Padua Hill's only required vendor is Entertainment Express because the venue was fitted with a sound system specifically for Entertainment, and the quality of the experience was one of the main reasons we ended up hosting our wedding at Padua. The team was so thoughtful and thorough during our planning process, helping us consider different options for lighting, timeline, and songs for the processional, first dance, etc. One of the key things we wanted to include during our wedding was having a song our friend wrote and recorded be a song that played during our cocktail hour as an Easter egg for our friend to experience. Getting to share that moment with him when he realized his song was playing was a highlight to our wedding Entertainment Express brought to life. The team was also really helpful in helping us transition through the different points of our wedding, and made the day feel super cohesive. While our experience was specific to Padua, there's no doubt EE wouldn't be able to make events at other venues feel just as special.

Design: We told Abby we wanted an "East Meets West" theme that blended our cultures in a way that felt modern and elegant, a tough balance that could've easily come off as cheesy in if executed poorly. But Abby nailed it of course, her design sense is unreal. From color palettes and floral choices to the way she tied together modern décor with cultural elements, everything was cohesive and elevated. She has an incredible eye for detail and always found creative, out-of-the-box ways to make our ideas work. The end result was a wedding that felt truly felt like us! Communication: Throughout the entire process, Abby and her team were consistently on top of communication. She kept us updated between meetings, sent friendly reminders, and made sure we were always aligned on next steps. It's easy for things to slip through the cracks when planning something this big, but Abby kept everything organized and stress-free. We never once felt out of the loop, she was always calm, professional, and genuinely fun to talk to. Vendor Management: Abby's vendor management skills are next level. She has deep connections and knows everyone in the wedding world. When we needed vendors for flowers, desserts, or décor, she already had a curated list of the best options with pros and cons ready for us. Some of our vendors were booked more than a year in advance, but Abby and her team were always on top of follow-ups, contracts, and logistics. By the time the big day arrived, every vendor was perfectly coordinated. It really felt like we had assembled the Avengers of wedding vendors! Working Style: We can't say enough about how enjoyable it was to work with Abby and her team. They're so friendly, positive, and genuinely care about their couples. You can tell they love what they do and that they actually enjoy working together - it felt like they were more of friends than coworkers. Whenever unexpected hiccups came up (and they always do in wedding planning), Abby handled them with grace and a sense of humor. She's done hundreds of weddings, so she always had the experience to guide us to make informed decisions. It was so fun working with the entire team and it made the stressful process of wedding planning feel less stressful. Execution: This is where Abby and her team truly shine. Planning is one thing, but executing flawlessly is another and they did it all seamlessly. From coordinating vendors to keeping our timeline on track, they were everywhere and nowhere all at once, putting out fires behind the scenes before we even knew they existed. The day flowed perfectly. At the end of the night, we were blown away to see how they had already packed up all our belongings, made sure our ride was ready, and tied up every little loose end without us lifting a finger. That level of thoughtfulness really showed how much they care. Budget & Financial Management: The truth is weddings are expensive, and it's easy for costs to spiral if you're not careful. Abby was phenomenal at keeping everything organized and transparent. She tracked every expense, set reminders for upcoming milestone payments for vendors, and even handled tipping for all our vendors so we didn't have to stress about it on the big day. What really stood out was her honesty and foresight -- anytime a decision could push us beyond our budget, she proactively flagged it and walked us through the financial trade-offs before we committed. Thanks to her meticulous tracking and planning, there were zero surprises at the end. Everything was clearly outlined and accounted for, which gave us complete peace of mind. In short, Abby and her team are the best in the business. They bring design expertise, organization, and heart to every step of the process.
