My only gripe is that IMO things are often too pricey, sometimes even with the last day discount (which is generally only 25% vs 50%, which I guess is another gripe). I was number 17 and when I got there at 8 AM there must've already been 70 people inside the home and outside. So it did not matter if you were there early (even though the rules online say to not come early) and it did not matter if you had put yourself on the waitlist and I was really disappointed about that.

Since they didn't bother to put up street signage to promote the discount, I say that they are not particularly good at acting in their own interests, but are more like hobbyists. That said, one will likely find the occasional bargain.

I went to the sale last weekend on a very narrow road with many driveways. There was a helpful young man ensuring folks didn't park on the narrow road and let me know the organizers had a shuttle running for those of us unable to make the walk to the sale. This house was packed with so many wonderful items! They were organized and displayed beautifully. I bought too much and did use the shuttle to haul my treasures back to my car. While I was inside the sale I heard a woman was upset about the efforts to reduce traffic. Another woman, who claimed to live in the street, was saying that she appreciated the efforts made to keep nonresidents off the narrow drive.
