The actors are not paid, and the venue is basically an emptied out warehouse-type store. The entire music score is played by piano. However, for $15 you can enjoy a pretty decent show. There was some pretty good talent among the locals performing. It's basically all about the show. I thought since it's an Opera you should dress up, but alot of the audience did not think so. So a jacket is not required for men, and women can just wear something nice. Tickets for children were $5. I must note that I brought my young son (15 mo.) to the show, who was behaving pretty well. However, the usher asked me to remove him because he coughed. So we didn't get to see the entire performance. I believe it was a rather small offense to not be able to see the show. However, I would come for another one, just have a babysitter for the boy.

Not only was the venue gorgeous, but Rachel, the amazing event sales manager, answered all of our questions and made us feel special as we toured for our special day. Rachel emailed me back and forth prior to our tour to answer any questions that I had. She explained that the tour itself was about 20 minutes, but she blocked out an hour of her time incase we had questions on site or for her to explain anything in more detail. We easily used the entire hour discussing how to make our dreams a reality. We have had experiences at other venues where we felt unheard or that our questions didn't matter. That was NOT the case with Rachel as she was attentive to our questions. In the rare instance that she didn't have an immediate answer, or if we wanted to see specific photos of the venue (sparkler send off, ceremony in rain), she took notes and sent an email within a few hours after meeting. After touring other venues, this is by far the best service that we have received.
