When I saw the flowers at the funeral home, my heart sank. It was a small arrangement of almost all yellow, some purple and a little greenery. My bill was $82. They said they had the perfect thing and that they could offer us a 25% discount to bring the cost down to our budget amount, making our total $70. She received a potted hydrangea that looks like it came from the grocery store, with a bow stuck on it. These cost $12-$13 in the store! We will not be using this business again and feel grossly taken advantage of.

We were left scrambling to find another florist at 10 pm in the evening. We found one that said they could do it for an additional $25 delivery fee. 2 hours before the funeral they said they were on their way, an hour before the funeral they had not arrived, we called. And they said "we don't do funeral" how professional the didn't even call us to let us know (again had to wait for refund) Well we had less than an hour before our beloved mothers funeral and we rushed to Jennifer's Flower Boutique in Fortville. Jennifer told us to give her 15 minutes and it was the most beautiful boutique of flowers you could have ever asked for. The take away here is use a local flower shop don't use these online services because you don't know what you are ever going to get. A friend's grandmother passed away in Indiana and I wanted to send something that would travel easily that she could bring home with her. I placed my order online and paid 78.00 for a Stately Croton. There was a box on the order form that specifically asked if a substitution would be okay. My dad passed last year and we received a ton of plants so knowing some are easy to care for and so many of the others died - I wanted to make sure it was something that would be long lasting. I selected NO it is not okay to substitute. I spoke with my friend and she thanked me for the plant and even sent me a picture. It was not the plant I ordered. I called and spoke with a very rude woman at Posy Shop who said she just realized that the order was received this morning and she didn't have any of what I ordered. I placed my order before lunch on Friday and would have had plenty of time to order elsewhere had I been contacted. She then went on to say she thought that the substitution was very comparable and was just very busy is why she didn't call. THEN she offered to go and pick up the plant and redeliver what I ordered when it became available. REALLY, in what alternate universe is that even a valid suggestion? So, as I was very adamit that I was not pleased she went on to say that she could have just not fulfilled the order at all...Oh I'm sorry I though you were in the business of gaining customers and not offending them and losing them all together. I know that I am out of town and it was for a funeral so she wasn't seeing me a repeat customer but I was absolutley appalled at her responses and lack of compassion and professionalism. I would highly suggest you look elsewhere before EVER giving this company any of your business or trust them with anything that means even a little bit to you.
