He was great at explaining and keeping things interesting while unobtrusively assisting when help was needed. In terms of price, our session was about the same as I paid for a similar glass-blowing event elsewhere. The big difference is that we were far more involved in every step of the process and we got to design our own pieces - the type (cup, vase, ornament, paperweight, etc.), the overall shape (short/tall/wide/flared) and the colors.
