I couldn't be more grateful or honored to have been a part of The Pinball Super Series 2021, even if I did not play as well as I hoped. I am shocked there isn't more local interest in this place. I believe that every town should have a "pinball house" like most towns have a bowling alley. This is the gold standard template for such a thing. It's so cool that small community has a dirt race track for local race car drivers. It's not too…read morefar off the main road in Luxemburg, and what I believe was farm...at least it smelled like a farm. There's not a big parking lot, and basically everyone parks in the grass. The cost is reasonable as it was just above $10 to get in. Cost for kids are a little cheaper. They have a concession stand with your classic burgers, hot dogs, and beer. I didn't eat any of the food, so I can't comment on that. They have metal bleachers, so bring a blanket or cushion if you don't like sitting on cold hard metal. The track is fairly small...maybe 1/3 of a mile. During the summer they have races here about every Friday night. The night went by so fast as first they had qualifying races for the different classes of car with four to ten cars racing at a time. As soon as one race was done, the next group of cars got on the track right away and started shortly after that. I believe after the intermission there were longer races of the top qualifiers. My little bro and I left at intermission as we had our racing fix for the night as it gets loud (bring earplugs!), and I have inhaled enough gas fumes. I would consider going here again for racing and other events.

Each of the last several July's (Covid 2020 too) there's a farm in the heart of Shawano County…read morethat's home to a fabulous field of sunflowers. What makes this field more special than most is that the Bergsbaken family opens up to the community to share in the beauty of the blooming sunflowers. They create trails to walk through the field and strategically place platforms so you can capture the just right photo of sun/sunflower. The field remains open to the public for as long as the flowers are in bloom. One special weekend the farm fully opens to the public and really lets you in. On this one July weekend there are crafts for sale, trailer rides, food to purchase, kids activities and of course sunflowers to purchase. The Bergsbaken family puts out a free will donation box and asks you to make a small donation in order to take part in the sunflowers. This is a sight to behold and in this socially distant world of 2020 what could be better than a walk with a loved one amongst something as bright as a few thousand sunflowers.

I do not mind walking but crossing the busy streets on foot was dangerous. The venue itself is really nice reminds me of a more modern timberattlers stadium. We had tickets thanks a YELP give-away for the club section. Came with 3 tickets for drinks, covered seats on the second floor and all you can eat food. The food was good for a buffet I liked the salad options. The drinks where great because you could have mixed drinks or like us have some awesome craft brews. The game was so fun to watch it was 90's night so all 90's music. They do a ton of fun games during the innings. Flash the bat carrying dog was my favorite part. I cannot wait to be back!
