I called for services and he was fast to respond, fast to come to my house, once he got here we spent time looking over the job going over everything and I felt it went great and texted him the next day about how great it was to meet him. no response, a few days later I texted him images of the fence I wanted built, no response, three days later I sent an upfront message saying im checking and would like to know if he's going to take the job or not, and said please respond, NO RESPONSE. at that point I legitimately though I had done something wrong to this man, why else would a business owner ghost me? so I asked my friend who's neighborhood he works in, turns out he has multiple multi million dollar homes he works on and it all started to make sense, I thought I was really odd he quoted me almost 1000$ to clean up the front and back yard ,basic removal of bushes and small dead fruit trees and over grown weeds and two small pepper trees. when I started asking questions he said its so expensive because he's got to load the waste and take it to a dump? so you throw organic materials in a trash dump thats odd. now I see what I did wrong, IM NOT RICH. so I wrote him a letter saying how rude it is to ghost a client, how horrible it is to wait 7 days for a text back and even worse I knew he was ghosting me for being poor and I definitely called him out for it and told him I was writing a review and posting about this to local community boards. well guess what immediately I get a call from his son telling me he handles his calls and texts for the business, strait up admitting he's been receiving them and his father wasn't too busy to write back because he's the one who takes care of all that, now he's trying to talk to me and make things cool after ignoring me? I just bought this home and I need it worked on its a fixer upper and my neighbors are complaining about the jungle in my front yard of weeds, and I dont have a fence on one side and javalinas are wreaking havoc on my backyard so he was very well aware this was time sensitive especially because these animals get aggressive in the winter, these lying assholes ghosted me because I wasn't a multi million dollar home owner and they couldn't get enough money out of me so instead of just saying your expensive and dont do normal peoples projects they let me send text after text wasting my time and money, in the 7 days I waited I could have had someone here who's not stuck up that will just do the work for a fair price. his idiot son outted him as a snob, so to people of the verde valley, call Fernando if your super rich and want to get over charged for basic services he'll show up fast and not waste your time, to everyone who works hard and is just trying to get weeds removed and a fence built, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, he'll be nice to your face and then do what he did to me. im keeping my word to his jerk son and posting this everywhere! ps. he called me from a bunch of different numbers so id answer, if your so worried about your reputation be honest with people. If you are experiencing bark beetles from the drought, do not, I repeat, do not have the tree…read moredoctor put any liquid on the base of the tree trunks, like he did mine. I had lost a couple pinion pines to the bark beetle. I didn't want to lose any other trees, and the tree doctor was recommended by a tree nursery. I later learned, from another tree professional, that you're just wasting your money by having anyone come out and spray anything on your trees. I was informed by spraying the trees, to get them to stress, so they sap is futile. The trees are already stressing from the drought. All he did was stress the trees further. When trees are under great stress, they put off a pheromone, that basically calls the bark beetles to the trees. The trees had no signs of bark beetles, and he sprayed the base of the trunk of the pinion pines, in an attempt to prevent any further loss. He wouldn't provide the name of the liquid used, since it's proprietary. I was later informed, by another tree specialist, all he did was call the bark beetles to the trees. By him treating the trees that were not infested, caused the trees to stress even further. unbeknownst to me, the trees put off pheromones that attracts the beetles when stressed. Anyhow, all he did was stress the trees further. A week and a half later, approximately forty trees were dead from bark beetles. Unfortunately, I paid for the expert to kill my trees. I've learned the best thing you can do for your pinion pines, during a drought is to deep water at least 6 inches once a month. A lesson learned the hard way. When I called and informed Joseph of what occurred, his reply was, they must have been too far gone. I explained, None of those trees had any signs of bark beetles when sprayed. I was merely attempting to prevent any further loss. Unfortunately, it did just the opposite. Save your money! I've been informed, to prevent the bark beetles from getting your trees, deep water them once a month, at least six inches deep, during a drought.
