My grandsons attended this school and I thought it would be great for them, my oldest is four and…read morehe was in my opinion bullied by the four women in the office, none of them have ANY children of their on btw, he was sent to the office for random things that normal little boys do, made him feel belittled and insecure, he was having breakdowns in the office knowing he was going to be sent home, he was saying he didn't want to be bad, he wanted to stay, they even called once because a cup of his was accidentally thrown in the trash can, the teachers seemed concerned enough over the office staff that they exchanged personal phone numbers with my daughter in law, my daughter in law was being called nearly daily with total nonsense from these women, after about a month of this insanity my daughter in law was crying on a daily basis from these women continued stress, we checked with a Christian school nearby and he has been there about four months and has had zero issues, absolutely nothing, we found out these women are partial to female students and any male student that acts like a male is put into a very bad category, we also found out that several female students left because their mothers saw how things are ran there even though their children was not discriminated against, they are now at the same Christian school, one of the mothers is very intelligent and in the medical profession, so she has plenty of common sense so she figured things out rather quickly, the teachers were nice but they go through them quickly, the teachers also do not care for these women in the office, several were kind enough to let us know it wasn't my grandson but the other way around, my grandson went through thousands of dollars worth of testing by professionals to tell us his IQ was over 135, and he was very distracted, so the Doctor suggested it is even higher than that, how disappointing to know these people that run the show are in charge of taking tiny children's self esteem away and make them feel inferior, crying all the time, saying people don't like him, he's four years old, no child of any age should have to go through this, male or female, save yourself some time and your child's feelings and enroll them somewhere else, these babies are precious and deserve better...

Everyone is very nurturing, caring, and warm. The teachers and staff are like family to us. My girls were so well prepared for kindergarten and have such a good foundation for their future education. The entire staff came together during the COVID-19 pandemic and set up a virtual pod for elementary school aged students. It was a godsend for our daughter and for us. She was able to be in a school setting and have some normalcy related to school despite COVID. She also developed some incredible friendships during that time. The other parents and families are wonderful and very down to earth . I feel so fortunate that we were able to be a part of the DP community for over 4 years. I miss it!

We had our daughter attend this school when she was 18 months old. It was the best experience and…read moreit broke my heart when we moved. Reasons why I loved this school so much: - the staff: they really cared about my daughter and us parents. They came out every day to talk to us and give us updates on her day. You could tell they also were educated in childhood education. We loved our Ms Sheryl, Itzel and Kim - learning: they have a monthly curriculum where they teach the kids something age appropriate every day. My daughter flourished here. - Food: I loved that I did not have to pack food and I knew she was getting healthy organic options - coach: he made all the kids happy - community: this school felt like a small community. My husband got covid during our time in Atlanta and the school made us feel like we were cared for. They informed everyone in the school in a timely manner and sent us well wishes and food ! - communication: in the difficult times of covid TLC was amazing at communicating with us weekly about all measures they were taking. It made us feel at ease. Also, they use the Beightwheel app and updates us daily with pictures of her and her friends :) - clean. Friendly. Affordable. Simply amazing. We wish we had a school like this in Orlando ! We miss you all dearly!

This is our first year at Tree of Life, and we truly believe it is a "diamond in the rough." Not…read moreonly is the school more affordable than most early childcare providers (and certainly less costly than any other Montessori programs in the area which are known to be quite expensive), but the quality of education is top notch. Prior to enrolling here, our son attended a language immersion school. The first year, he had an amazing teacher and made great progress socially and academically. The next two years, however, he began to regress due to high teacher turnover, inconsistent instruction, and a 13:1 student-teacher ratio that wasn't conducive to much individualized attention. The 6:1 class size at Tree of Life has allowed my son to get lots of 1:1 time with his teacher. In addition, the mixed-age classroom, which is a staple of Montessori education, has provided my son with the chance to learn from older students. Moreover, the student-led, choice-based instructional approach, which is also a key feature in Montessori classrooms, has provided my son with ample opportunity to explore his interests while developing independence, confidence, fine motor skills, and intellectual curiosity. A mathematician and Montessori certified educator, Marla understands the stages of child development, and the value of high rigor and hands-on kinesthetic learning. Her classroom management style is firm but fair, and her guidance has informed some of the ways my wife and I support our son at home. Marla has a genuine appreciation for multi-cultural education. She regularly teaches about other cultural traditions like Holi, Kwanzaa, and the Chinese New Year, and invites special guests (including parents) to enrich the classroom experience by sharing their unique talents and traditions. Marla sends an update (both written and via FB group) on what was taught each week and what is forthcoming, is very responsive to email and text messages, and takes multiple measures to ensure her classroom is clean and safe (i.e., locked door, classroom cameras, optional masking, temperature checks, etc.) If an affordable Montessori education, in a small, in-home setting, with a highly skilled and caring teacher is an ideal learning environment for your child; and if an 8:30-4pm pickup works with your schedule, I'd HIGHLY RECOMMEND Tree of Life Montessori. It's a wonderful place!

I picked this school mainly because it was so close to my work, but ended up loving the school. Marla is very serious about teaching, very responsible, and dependable and I can feel very comfortable leaving my daughter every morning. She has only up to 6 kids in her classroom and each child gets plenty of her attention. Only thing I did not like much about was the long nap time...she had a difficult time sleeping at night. A few years after we moved out of Atlanta, we visited the school because I had a conference. She welcomed my daughter for the week that I was staying in Atlanta and she loved being back in the school. The school has such a welcoming, warm environment and this school is my gold standard for preschools.

It must be: * Safe * Encouraging * Peaceful * and A Positive Learning Environment Primrose Sandy Springs offers ALL OF THESE THINGS, but what really sets them apart are the small details. Our son's teacher, Ms. Judy, would greet us at the door to the room. They'd immediately engage my son, and take him from me to make him feel welcome and at home in the classroom. All bottles went into an insulated bag (that they provide) in his cubby. The teachers will move them to the correct fridge for you, and return them back to the bag in his cubby rinsed. The room itself is spacious, but warm. It's always peaceful--frankly, I could do with spending a bit more time in there just to relax. Throughout the day we receive images of him playing, reading, and practicing through the Tadpoles app. The images light up my day like nothing else! When it's time to pick him up for the day, I just show up. The evening teacher hands my son to me and I grab his bag and go. They take all of the hassle out of it. And Raneet, the owner, and her staff are always warm and encouraging. On several occasions they moved mountains to accommodate our needs. Give them a try. I hope you'll love them as much as we did.

The facility is controlled access. You must enter your code to enter the building which was a plus for me. The classrooms are organized and well kept. I love the many events they have through out the year for the children. The owner Mrs. Raneet is amazing and cares about the school and the quality of care your child receives. I came to her with concerns and she was always willing to fix anything or correct any issues that was there. Super sweet and always willing to help you anyway she can. Thank you :)
