From Mansfield to Cedar Hill: A Game-Changer…read more I made the switch from 24 Hour Fitness in Mansfield to Crunch Fitness in Cedar Hill, and it's been one of the best decisions I've made for my fitness journey. At 24 Hour Fitness, the gym was overcrowded, not well-maintained, and many of the machines were either broken or run down. I got tired of the constant frustration and decided to give Crunch Fitness a try since it was a brand-new location--and I couldn't be happier! The facility in Cedar Hill is everything I wanted and more. It's incredibly spacious with a modern layout, so even during busy times, I never feel cramped or like I'm waiting forever for equipment. They have so many squat racks, machines, and free weights that there's always something available no matter what kind of workout I'm doing. What I love most, though, is the sauna. It's such a great addition and has become a big part of my post-workout routine. It's clean, well-maintained, and exactly what I need to relax and recover after a tough session. So far, my experience with Crunch Fitness over the past couple of months has been nothing short of fantastic. It's so refreshing and pleasant and non competitive! Working out together is a treat and it's a plus that I can workout WITH my baby in tote and not put off exercise because I don't have childcare. However, due to me getting off work around 5 it was always crowded, and anyone hates that. But it is not as bad as people say, i left this gym when i moved away from the area and went to the grand prairie one, and now im back at this gym it was actually really clean, and nice. I love when the personal training area is not being occupied, that we are able to use it. The restrooms were really clean, and the showers. Most def will be back.

So they won't break my contract bc their policy requires for the gym to be outside of 10 miles. The only reason I came to this gym is bc it was less than a mile from my house and now I wasted so much money. I did really like the gym before they announced closing. I feel like they should have disclosed that they were closing for locking me into a contract. That's super shady.

But I won't do that because the value I get from each workout is worth $$$$ to me. I've gone from a post COVID L/XL to a M even as a Female at age 50+. I love the new Tread50 format, especially after not being able to run for the last 20+ years due to injury. With the constant and positive encouragement from the coaches I power walked my way back to running. If running isn't for you the Strength50 is super too. But the OTF 2g and 3g classes are fire and will give you a solid base to get fitter and stronger. Newbie tip: showing up 30 minutes early for a first time class is something you should definitely do! Use that time to get to know your coach, the equipment, and fill them in on any limitations or injuries you might have. I know you might be shy but it's so helpful for your workout, and you'll be much more confident when class begins. And if you see me sweating along to the music at the station next to you just know I'm totally cheering you on! High five! Full disclosure: I read the negative reviews before posting this and I'm just going to say sit down with whoever is signing you up so you can ask questions. The terms they have are straightforward and pretty typical for any gym you enroll at.

Otherwise, I found the whole team to be friendly and welcoming, and even chatted with a few members, this studio had a very good vibe. Due to a large gap between morning classes 5:00, 6:15 and then 8:45, I'm not sure if I'd return (7:30 is my sweet spot) but I certainly comfortably recommend this location.
