First thing, the atmosphere. Wow... It seemed to me like the smell of the humidifier/diffuser, the brightness of the room, and the ambient music was all designed to promote total relaxation. Amy is an amazing therapist. Her experience and knowledge really showed through in how she skillfully navigated the muscle groups where I hold the most tension. She also explained to me very useful information about how I should be hydrating more due to my extremely physical occupation, and specifically that the discomfort in my calves and shins were indicative of this dehydration. Nothing too invasive, but enough that she was on alert as to potential issues that could arise so she could be ready. I went for a 90 minute hot stone massage. Amy was great! She made sure that I was okay throughout the process. I left her suite so relaxed.
