I was very pleased to be able to go online and view my options prior to calling. Luckily I knew what I needed, sizes etc... When I called to place my order, the woman on the phone was quick, courteous and professional. She quoted me a price that was more than reasonable. She explained the amount due to hold the order as well as the deposit that I would have to put down (that was refundable) when picking up my order. An invoice was promptly emailed to me that reflected our phone conversation. When I went to pick up my order again everything was ready to go, they processed my payment and I popped around back and the gentleman at the loading dock got everything nicely into my car. The items were clean, nicely packaged and in good shape. I even had compliments at my small event as to how nice the items looked! When I went to return my items today, the woman behind the counter wasn't pleasant and seemed irritated that I was in the store. She gave me my return slip she said to take it around back and drop it off. When I asked her about the deposit going back on my account she very curtly replied that they would check my items in and determine at that point if my deposit would be refunded. It was almost as if she was implying that I had damaged the items. As I know everything was in perfect shape, I thanked her, returned the items and on my way I went. I would recommend using AAA if you know what you want and don't need someone to happily walk you through their items.

The person I spoke to took all the information down and said she would get back to me with a quote. I waited a couple of weeks and had not heard back from them, so I called again at the end of January. The same person answered, said she still had all my information and would call me back in a couple of weeks. She said they had been overwhelmed with rental requests for Chief's parties because of them going to the Super Bowl and would call me with a quote as soon as they recovered from that. It is now February 18, and I still haven't gotten a call back. I really wanted to rent from this company because I saw that their prices were very reasonable; however, if they can't even give me the courtesy of a call back, they are obviously not very reliable. I would be extremely wary if you use this company.

After pick up and getting prepared for reception my bartenders and I had to go through and re-wash almost all the 300 plus glasses that were rented. We were told they would be washed and ready to go upon pick up, but that clearly wasn't the case. Just more attention to the products they are renting out would be great. It just added a little extra time in preparation for an already stressful day.

Ultrapom did the beautiful decor for my wedding at River Market Event Place…read more Unfortunately, my Saturday wedding fell on a weekend when both the space and Ultrapom had booked multiple weddings. On the Sunday following my wedding, Ultrapom and my venue - without my knowledge - left up my exact same wedding tent decor for another wedding to use, free of charge. They reused my lighting, draping, tent and chandeliers - all rented from several different companies. Seeing photos from another wedding using my carefully planned, multi vendor-sourced decor was devastating to me. Planning a unique wedding was something I spent months and months on - and one of the few things that distracted me from being diagnosed with cancer the year of my wedding. I wanted my wedding day to be perfect, which it was, but I also wanted it to be uniquely ours. In the days following my wedding I reached out to both vendors trying to understand how this could have happened. Ultrapom and River Market have not only refused to admit fault and apologize, but denied me reimbursement and instead rudely blamed me for inconveniencing the Sunday wedding that was "forced to incorporate my decor into their day." In our communications on this, Ultrapom said there was no way my decor could have been taken down in time before the Sunday wedding and even if it could have been - it would have come at a hefty price. These excuses were only told to me after the company used my paid-for design for another wedding. And unfortunately, Ultrapom posted a photo on Instagram indicating the lights took one person only one hour to take down with one ladder. The post was not only comically insensitive, but clearly showed this could have quickly been done in between weddings. I was shocked, saddened and truly disappointed by my communication with Ultrapom while trying to fairly resolve this issue. I requested an explanation for how this could have happened, and later following many excuses, some compensation for having paid for a beautiful tent to be used at a stranger's wedding. My phone calls and voicemails to try and talk it through went unanswered. After thousands of dollars spent with Ultrapom, the business will not even return a phone call. I hope this review informs other couples what they may face once the checks are cashed and your event is done. Thank you to Ultrapom - your work was beautiful, but your customer service for unhappy clients is appalling. Ultrapom is clearly booking more weddings than they can handle - to the detriment of clients. I would advise any couples trying to plan a unique wedding to be clear in communications here. Ask who else will be using the items you pay for. Otherwise, like me, you could end up lending your ideas, vision, and of course money, to whatever event follows yours. Good luck!

There was no question that I'd even need to shop around for a better deal or experience. Mike was top notch professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating. On the big day, he quickly set up the equipment, played an additional memory slideshow and music, and made a bunch of our neighborhood kiddos weeks with his popcorn machine. The sound quality and screen quality was perfect, even as a Christopher Nolan film usually demands an IMAX. He has immense knowledge about his industry & equipment and has an impressive arsenal of processes in place so that his team is ready for anything. We had to postpone our first date due to weather, and Michael was in communication with us the whole time we were working to reschedule. We even had a hiccup with our planned site the night of our rescheduled event, and he and his team pivoted their entire set-up process like it was nothing. As a person in the events industry, I cannot say enough about their unwaveringly calm demeanor and creative problem solving. The night of the event, they arrived with plenty of time to set up the screen, sound system, lights, and popcorn machine. Everything was set up on time and looked organized. The screen was bright and displayed the picture beautifully, and the sound system was top notch. Michael and his team worked tirelessly to make our event seamless so that our staff could enjoy the event as well, and they thought of every little thing. They were prepared for anything & the pinnacle of professionalism, and I cannot wait to work with them again!
