So I quickly had to hurry with my selections and found what I was looking for quickly. They always greet you at the door also let me put that out before I get into this event that I had experienced today. Of course the nice lady came and hunted me down at the store and said we will be closing the door soon so please make your selection and go to the front of the store. At this time I couldn't find the bakery aisle where you can make brownies and cookies and cakes. So I had to get someone to hurry up and get me the aisle I was looking for. Because I was spending more time looking and hunting for it so the nice lady said hey it's over here on this aisle. I grabbed a few things ran up to the front desk to check out. And was very glad that I finally made it before the store actually closed. They treat you very well and they give you a little time to finish ear shopping. Unlike several other stores they don't make you feel welcome anymore they want you to hurry up and get out. Reason is they want to go home. Understandable, I also love the fact that they have tea out and samples of coffee as well today they had free chocolates. So they have little perks here, You can always find some great pastas as well which is my favorite besides 2 other places I like to buy my pastas because I'm very particular. They also had clearance items They were half off. These were the fragrances which I love buying here 'cause they're very Wonderful to put in your bathrooms it just makes your house smell amazing! I recommend world market to anyone who wants to take a walk to the wild side and I mean it. They have all these beautiful items kind of reminds me of pier 1 which I miss dearly.' I didn't, having never done so for any other Living Social deal, but this location of Garden-Ville doesn't "have the scanners and equipment to redeem" from a smart phone. To which I said, "Well, I wish you'd have mentioned that when I called half an hour ago." You shouldn't even need such equipment - the employee just didn't know what to do. So I drove home empty-handed, having wasted an hour (and 30 miles). I'd just hoped for a nice drive and to check out a different garden shop. But this place isn't a garden shop, it's only really set up for dealing with contractors and wholesale operations, not individuals. Again, I wish their web page or the LivingSocial deal had made that clear. So, 1-star experience. However, the price list looks promising. And the just-learned fact that Garden-Ville is the composting and recycling component of Texas Disposal Systems is redeeming.

They sell everything from fill soil to compost to rocks. My first problem is that my truck is just a 90's mini truck. They don't sell soil by the half yard. I tried putting a yard of their Superior Soil in my truck and about a half yard in, the truck couldn't take any more. The guy was cool enough to stop filling the truck and he charged for about a half yard. Would be nice if I could just get a half yard. My second problem is that their products aren't exactly the greatest. The Superior Soil was acceptable I suppose. I'm used to getting Revitalizer from Natural Gardener, and Gardenville's Superior comes up short in comparison. They did have a decent deal recently on shredded mulch and the mulch was fine. The location has been paring down their offerings. They had a crazy sale to liquidate all of their pots. Now they're selling all of their tools. Not sure if they're focusing on the bulk business or what.

So I started going toward the florall department and Halloween wreaths. They had all kinds which was quite impressive too many to select I could be there all day long just looking. Of course all day items for the outdoor patios of course were no longer available. They let us bring a couple of pieces home to see if they would work for us and then bring them back the next morning. They really went out of their way for us. My experience at Home consignment center was good. It's like thrifting around. You can't really…read moreinspect the furniture because it's crammed in tightly with other furniture. I got a leather love seat and leather chair with an ottoman. After I got it home, it had cheaply made legs with some not screwed in correctly. That's on me for not inspecting them more. ONE STAR FOR THE DELIVERY COMPANY THAT THEY USED. I scheduled a delivery, then they changed it twice to accommodate their schedule. When they did come, they came 30 minutes early and I couldn't make it home in time. My son had to pay them. The store is less than 10 minutes from my house. They charged $100/hour. When they delivered, the men insisted on $300. I called the owner for a receipt. She wouldn't call me back. They saw a chance to be dishonest and they took it. And, the legs had scrapes and damage that I'm sure wasn't there before.
