Glad to see a Filipino bakery in the Orlando area. They have a great selection of Filipino baked goods- enseymada, pan de ube, Spanish bread, siapoa, and pan de sal. They are pretty good. Just a little bit expensive but worth it. Was looking for Suman but they don't have just the plain one. They also serve drinks- Ube flavor, calamansi, and coconut. They serve some hot food. Cashier that helped us didn't know some of the products when we asked. Place is pretty big and clean. Ample of parking.

Love when I have the opportunity to stop here, it's fairly new and has other locations in the US, far as I know it's the only one here in Orlando. I always order the Pan de coco, but they have so much more items. Today I ordered the Easy Breakfast, includes, over easy egg. 4 pieces of bacon and their freshly baked bread! This was delicious! Service is always great, can't wait to come back!

This was my first time going to a Filipino bakery and my fiancee didn't prepare me one bit. I went crazy like a kid at a candy store. She let me grab whatever pastries and bread I wanted to bring back home (South Florida) to share with our family, friends, and coworkers. So many baked goods looked good that I literally just grabbed everything I wanted to try for the first time. When we finally made it to the cashier to pay for the items, we ended up ordering corned beef and pork belly bowl for dine in. The place looks clean, and you wouldn't mind eating there. Looking at the prices of the bowls, $7.95 corned beef and $14.95 for pork belly, I had zero expectations for the flavor and portions. Like, how good can they be for that price? I could not be more wrong, the food came out hot in a Togo bowl, the flavor was on a flavorful side but very close to what my fiancée's parents cook for me when we are at their house, and the portion was just right. It had us full all the way until dinner time that my fiancee skipped dinner today and though I still ate some more, I could easily have passed on the dinner too. Next time we are in Orlando area, this is a must visit place for the whole family and not just for the two of us. It's an experience I would recommend to everyone. Please just stop reading and make plans to visit this place on your next couple days off. It is well worth the drive, flight, or wherever you are coming from. Catch a bright line train and uber there for lunch, and you won't regret it. I enjoyed seeing some good Filipino pastries and food being served to central Florida demographics! Keep up the great work Baker's Son and family! Thank you for an excellent first time experience. This plaza offers plenty of free parking spaces. Unlike South Florida, the parking meters and parking apps are rare to find in Orlando area. Hm.

Whenever I visit Jacksonville we always make a point to go their Jax location so when we heard they had a Kissimmee location opening up we were beyond excited! As expected they have an incredible amount of baked goods. Shelves upon shelves are stacked with different pastries, buns, and desserts that are all sooo delicious! I always go for their pork siopao and puto bumbong. Their pandesal and ensaymada are also top favs. Unlike the Jax location they have ample seating to enjoy your purchases. They also serve warm food like rice bowls and drinks like coffee and matcha. I highly recommend their pork sisig bowl. Every time I go it seems there's always something new to try. I haven't nearly tried everything they have on offer but I plan to keep coming back for more. Putting in your order can take some time depending on how long the line is. But everyone is very nice! I'm so glad we have our own Baker's Son here in Kissimee!

We had an Ube cake which was excellent. Very tasty. Not chocolate but looks like it. Highly recommend.

Craving kakanin so went here on a Saturday and it was pretty busy, There was a line but not too long - They had 3 cashiers open but it still made the line. I knew what I wanted to get so I was in breeze when I shopped for the items. Slices of egg pie was $2.99 (2 slices) Puto Flan, Kutsinta and Pichi Pichi. An order of Halo Halo $7.99 Total came about $50 ish. The Halo Halo - There was a wait but It was not that long. I found the halo halo not really a authentic halo halo because they served it with UBE soft serve, and not much "beans, gulaman, sago" - it had no langka - It had coconut strips and flan with fruity pebbles. The ube soft serve was too much that it made the halo halo too sweet. Next time I am requesting ube soft serve on the side. Kutsinta - This was delicious - the right chew and not too sweet. I just wished they didnt not ground the coconut flakes. I am a fan of the kutsinta here. Pichi Pichi - These were large sized kinda flat pichi pichi it looks like palitaw at first but its pretty good. Not overly sweet. Coated in ground coconut flakes. I am also a fan of the pichi pichi. Puto Flan - These were delicious. The not overly sweet puto with the sweetness of the flan had the right combo. The different colors of puto did not categorize a certain taste it is more of color. Another one I am a fan of. Egg Pie - These were delicious. For the price you get 2 slices which is cheap. Tender egg custard with the pie crust - It is a delicious egg pie. The purchases were a good choice but the halo halo I would order in a different way next time.

We finally made the trek out to Kissimmee to check out The Baker's Son, a new Filipino bakery, and we had a great experience. We wanted to wait for some of the hype and lines to die down before going, and we luckily did not encounter any wait. We went at an off time, around 3:30pm on a Monday, and it was pretty chill. They have a retail area where you can shop packaged breads and baked goods, as well as a full food & beverage menu to dine in. We picked out a few goodies to take home and then ordered a few snacks to eat there. I got the loaded longganisa fries with garlic aioli which were crispy & delicious. My husband (who is Filipino) got the spam silog bowl with rice, spam, eggs, and tomatoes. He crushed it and says it hit the spot. For baked goods, we got a bag of the plain pan de leche rolls, pan de ube rolls (stuffed with purple yam), biscoff cookie butter ensaymada pillow, and an ube coconut cream loaf. Everything we tried was amazing -- light, fluffy, and not too sweet. It's quite a drive for us, but definitely worth a visit!

I go to The Baker's Son in Kissimmee, Florida if I want Filipino breads and pastries. It is a Filipino Bakery and Cafe near Walt Disney World that is known for traditional and modern Filipino baked goodies like pandesal, ube breads, ensaymada, crinkles, pastries and a lot more. They also have Filipino favorites biko, bibingka, palitaw, custard egg pie, refreshing buco pandan drink, halo-halo, kutsinta, taro bun, puto, and sago't gulaman. I love the Ube (purple yam) Crinkles, Ensaymada, Taro Bun, Ube Breads, Bibingka, Halohalo and the Buco Pandan drink. They were all so good! Friendly service. The store have a homey, cozy and relaxing ambiance. Check it out!

The place is clean plenty of parking outside plenty of space inside. They have bread and pastries. I ordered the ube pastillias. It's OK, a little on the sweet side. You can taste the UBE. Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about Filipino food.

As an ube fan, the ube coffee cake was the standout for me. It was light, not overly sweet, and still had a clear ube flavor that really came through. Everyone I went with loved it as well. The sponge cake with cream inside was also a hit--soft, airy, and very enjoyable. The drinks, however, didn't stand out as much. The coffee was too light for my taste, and the halo-halo was a bit disappointing--it felt like I was crunching on mini ice the whole time and eventually just tasted like shaved ice rather than a balanced dessert. We went early on a Sunday, and it wasn't packed, but the drink wait time was over 25 minutes. It seemed like some of the staff may have been in training, which could explain the delay. As for the food, the chicken was okay, but not the best popcorn chicken I've had--the pieces felt a bit too small to really enjoy. On the plus side, there's plenty of seating, and the prices are reasonable. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the baked goods (especially anything ube), but I'd probably skip the drinks next time.

Big fan of Jacksonville store but the Kissimmee store had a restaurant. This definitely made my family excited to travel to this location. The pros. The bakery and lunch hot items are so good including the Filipino drinks and desserts. The halo halo so good even with only one cube portion of flan. I'm not going to list all of items we purchased but the food highlights for me are the pandesal, loco moco, and the many types of silog. Now the cons. I know this place is still fairly new and still working out of kinks, but many negative gaps that needs to improve. First the layout of store. There are two areas: bakery and restaurant. Both are using the same single point cashier with one line. This causing a big bottleneck and making many angry customers to wait in line. It took over 30 minutes in line to get to the cashier then another 20 minutes to get our food at the cashier. If they have a dedicated cashier for the two different sections, it would make things easier for the customers and cashiers. Second con would be the bakery are not stocked with the different varieties like in the Jacksonville store. This is probably not the fault of the restaurant because the demand for these bake goods are high. However, there is such a large Filipino communities in central Florida coming all over, they should already assume business will boom. My suggestion, if it's a control production situation, insert online ordering for people to order in advance. This also help my two other con comments. Third con, the service. I think management hasn't trained their staff to handle the large numbers of customers coming to the store. Since this place is in tourist Disney area, all types of customers (not just Filipinos) are running into the store. My suggestion, hire more people. I know most Filipinos businesses like to hire only Filipinos but focus to hire qualified people instead. Service is so important here in this tourist city. I am really wanting this store to succeed because if it does, they may want to invest and expand more in Central Florida.

    Spam Silog

It's great to have a Filipino bakery in the Kissimmee area, and The Baker's Son is off to a good start. The bakery items we tried were fresh and tasty, and it's always nice to support a business that brings Filipino culture and flavors to the community. The Spam Silog, Lumpia Silog, Longsilog, and the Longanisa Burger were all great. The Pinoy pancakes were nice and fluffy, we were just not a fan of evaporated milk poured over it. I wish some of the Ube flavored breads have more Ube flavor in it. I also hope they consider adding more Filipino cakes and traditional pastries in the future. This place get really busy, the experience can be a bit overwhelming. The lines for bakery items get very long, and having an additional register would make a big difference in improving the flow and reducing wait times. One thing that stood out was how orders are called out by names instead of numbers. Our order was under my wife's name, and there were other customers with the same name, which led to confusion about which order belonged to who. Using numbered tickets would help avoid this issue entirely. Overall, a promising bakery with lots of potential. With a few tweaks to their ordering system and menu expansion, this could be a go to spot for both locals and visitors.

Customer service was excellent. The staff were warm, attentive, and welcoming, exactly what you expect from a Filipino owned spot. I came mainly for the halo halo, but it fell short. It was not sweet enough, and the toppings tasted like they came from a can instead of being fresh. I prefer the halo halo at Sampaguita Filipino Restaurant in Orlando. The pandesal was another letdown. It did not taste freshly baked onsite and was a bit denser than the soft, fluffy pandesal I usually look for. The highlight was the corned beef silog. Great flavor, comforting, and it brought back memories of the Philippines. The garlic fried rice was decent, but it lacked the strong garlic punch that typically makes a silog meal stand out. Overall, I had a good experience and would come back. This place has a lot of potential, and I would still recommend trying it at least once, especially if you are craving Filipino comfort food.

I pretty much ordered the Classic Halo Halo - They have another version that leans more towards Americanized but the classic is the Filipino Traditional version. When it was delivered - I noticed it had more milky shaved ice than toppings. (As you can see from the picture). The toppings included - Shredded coconut, Flan, Ube Halaya, Colorful Kaong, Sweet beans, Sweetened Banana and Jackfruit. Before you can see it was more loaded in the glass. The price was $10.50 which is not bad for the size. The milk shaved ice was tooo sweet for my liking. I can tell it was a pre made milk ice block that they shaved once ordered. It fulfilled the craving nonetheless. Also I noticed some were buying the Siopao. Especially the Pork Asado one. They were almost out inside the cooler. I was told by staff that someone delivers the siopaos (the baker) and they are 4 huge siopao for $10.95. The Siopao were the BEST I have had. Better than the filipino franchised bakeries, That is how good these are. You can tell they are homemade. They are large tender soft fluffy light dough and not too thick ratio with the pork asado filling. The filling is packed inside the dough and that is what I love about this siopao. Its not mostly dough. It is evened out throughout - Every bite you get the filling. I will def get these again. Service here is ok - I noticed the check out tab .. They divide the taxes when you pay the bill and its confusing at first as to why they add 3 types of "taxes" for a bill. You are paying 3 taxes along with the sub total of the bill. Other than that - The Halo Halo was a popular dessert this day throughout the diners,
