This is another restaurant that's in an area that's completely unassuming but inside they've got some great food for quick service! Once you're inside you can sear yourself and look over the menus before ordering. When you know what you want all you have to do is go up to the counter and the staff will take your order and they bring the food out to you. None of us waited too long for anything, which was so nice! I ordered the Mexican street corn fries to share with the table, two pork Bao buns, and I got a summer sunset (lychee popping boba is LIFE) to drink. Our favorite dish is the grilled pork with rice, which comes with an egg roll and salad. It is hands down the single best grilled pork dish I've ever had ..:incredibly soft, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. My daughter usually doesn't like egg rolls at all, but she ate this one and even dipped it in fish sauce! We've also had the pho on another visit, and it was rich and flavorful. The Vietnamese coffee is excellent ! made to order, very strong, and full-bodied. One cup usually lasts me two days. On top of the amazing food, the owner is really friendly and accommodating. We got rained out at Universal at about 7:30. By the time we arrived to eat it was about 8:00pm and they were going to be closing at 8:30pm. Nobody else was eating but we ordered a pork bahn mi and their bun bo hue soup. We ended up taking the rest of the soup home so that they could close on time. We didn't want to hold them up. The staff was very nice and accommodating. You could either eat inside or outside at tables. We chose inside and it was clean. The bahn mi was so delicious. It had a somewhat creamy sauce I believe which was a surprise to me as I don't come across them like this around Boston but damn was it a delicious surprise. and the soup was amazingly good. Love this spot! Feel like not everyone knows about it since it is located behind a 7/11 on john young parkway, but it's definitely a spot to check out ! They serve great and tasty food ! My favorite was the pork because it has this sweet flavor combined with the shredded carrots and sweet onions. They are unorganized in the food order and you have to fetch your own tap-water with a small- 5 maybe 6oz plastic cup- so safety is an issue because you crisscross serving traffic- really disappointing. Pho was way too sweet to taste any kind of spice that make pho the PHO-ahhhhh.... It really was pho-ewww- yuck.... We only ordered 5 bowls of Pho, hot tea drinks-which we got last, so I can't rate the rest of the food... Decent Vietnamese owned and operated restaurant. We didn't want to drive to Viet town, so we decided to give this mom and pop a try. The food overall is good, but not completely authentic. Prices aren't horrendous. Service is counter service. I actually order the kimchi fried rice because I'm Korean. It tasted pretty good. I would have perferred a side of gochujang over the container of what looks like thousand island but is probably mayo and some sort of hot sauce. I didn't taste it, so I don't know. Egg was cooked well, runny yolk. There were huge chunks of ginger which is unusual for a Korean dish, but tasted okay. The dish exceeded my expectations! I would order it again. The meat for their chicken bun (Vietnamese style noodles) didn't taste right, but was still tasty. Nuoc mam tasted watered down. Quantity is way less then what we typically get when we order bun. Needed more salad. The pork fried spring rolls were heavy on fungus. The kids didn't like the fungus. They came with sweet and sour sauce, but we are all about nuoc mam woth chili with our spring rolls. Coffee was strong. The first sip was bitter, but tasted better after a bit. It's not Lee's coffee but it wasn't bad. It was definitely better than the coffee offerings at Disneyworld, so my mouth was happy for the familiar taste. We ordered a bunch of pork and chicken banh mi sandwiches to go, too. The bread wasn't authentic, but it was easier yo eat on the plane than real baguette. The fillings were similar to the chicken on the bun dish. The pork is grilled, not char siu. Overall it was a tasty sandwich, and we are hlad to have taken it on the plane, because our flight was delayed and we were hungry! I'm a huge fan of this Vietnamese establishment! It's been some years since I've visited Orlando and thanks to Yelp I was able to find good eats and support local small businesses. After reading some other reviews and looking at some photos, I've decided to order some summer rolls, pork banh mi and rice plater with pork and shredded meat and egg quiche and some spring rolls. We were vacationing down in Orlando and wanted to tried some Vietnamese food. After we saw some reviews we decided to take the 15 minute drive from our hotel to the place. This cafe is located at the strip area with other businesses and next to the 711 gas station. They have have about 8-10 tables for the patrons to eat. Plenty of parking available for people so that's not a problem. I ordered the Banh Mi sandwiches and had three varieties, tofu, pork, and steak. All three did not disappointment they were all tasty and put together very nicely. I wanted to mention that we went back here three times during our one week trip. They had other Vietnamese dishes too, but I didn't have enough days so I wasn't able to try. I'm sure it would have tasted great too. It was a good size for one person or something small to share. Lots of noodles and the broth was soooo smooth and satisfying. The pho didn't seem to have much brisket though, just a couple ok sized pieces. But flavor was there! We've had other pho's that were lacking in flavor or were too intense in a certain flavor (i.e. cloves) but this one is JUST right! The crispy sweet and spicy BBQ chicken had a fantastic sauce over it. I loved the veggies it came with too as a little variety. She keep telling me about it but I just thinking it's similar to other pork banh mi, how special can it be? But turns out I was wrong, after I took a bite of the banh mi I couldn't stop myself from taking another bite of it. It is very juicy when compared to other banh mi places in Orlando area, banh mi in other places are so dry and minimal amount of pork. I'm in the area every Monday for work, and wow have I been missing out! This is such a little gem tucked away at the end of a shopping mall strip. Immediately upon entering, I was greeted and asked if I've ever been in before. I said no, and he proceeded to tell me about their most popular dishes etc. Service was extremely friendly and efficient. I ordered the chicken bánh mí, and I can safely say that I could easily eat that multiple times a week. Everything was so flavorful and fresh. I have been going to this shopping center for years now (I love SpringTea and Kpoppin USA) and was always curious about this place and finally decided to give it a try. I don't know what took me so long! It's a super cute little spot and the employees were really friendly. I went for lunch and decided to order enough to take home for dinner as well but I wanted to at least taste it all when it was made fresh to order. First I started with the Vietnamese Iced Coffee. If you're a Viet coffee fan you're going to love this one. This was one of the best I've ever tried. My only slight critique was the fact that there was still quite a bit of space in the cup and I would've loved just a bit more coffee. I also got the House fries which were absolutely delicious. The crispy fries, pickled veggies, and spicy Mayo were a fantastic combo and gave the perfect bite. I also tried the pork banh Mi which was super delicious and I love the contrasting bites of the hot meat and the cold pickled veggies and cilantro.
