Whenever I miss my Lola's cooking, I come to Kamayan Grill to get my fill of home cooked Filipino food. I love their Laing and kare kare! Those are my comfort dishes and I'm always so disappointed when restaurants don't do it the way I'm used to (of course there are different variations) but this place is the closest to my Lola's cooking. The Kare kare stew is thick and peanutty with a hearty amount of beef and the Laing is the perfect combination of spicy and umami. They also have Filipino spaghetti and it's so good, omg. Sweet and savory at the same time and whenever I crave Jollibee, I just order from here because Jollibee is way too far from me. Service is friendly and welcoming and restaurant is small but cozy and clean!! My go-to spot for sure!

This place is amazing small but comforting. We tried different items to see what we best enjoyed. Sinigang pork was one of our favorites w the lumpia & quail eggs. We will be back again! We wouldn't do the Butangas Bulalo not much in this soup for $24.99 but it was tasty.

Spotted Kamayan Grill when I was in the area and had visited Adega Gaucha Brazilian Steakhouse and Crush Yard which are in the same plaza. I asked some local Filipinos about it, & they recommended it. Finally stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and it was packed. We got a table at a good spot. It wasn't too close to the person singing which is great for us. We ordered lumpia(Filipino fried spring rolls), chicken adobo, and bistec Tagalog(beef). My fave was the bistec tagalog. Reminded me of my mom's cooking and when I was a kid. My husband liked the chicken adobo. We didn't love the lumpia. Seemed like it was frozen and fried, like I just bought it at the Asian supermarket and threw it in the fryer. FYI, rice is additional and with these dishes, rice is absolutely needed. I ordered garlic rice bc it's my fave but with these dishes there's so much sauce, plain rice would have been fine. Garlic rice is still so so good(my fave). My fave fave from this lunch was the halo halo. I think it's the best I've had in a long time. I have had the halo halo at the local Filipino ice cream shop in Orlando and this one was def better in my opinion, it's also bc they did include leche flan in it. Service was good, and assisted us when needed. Glad I got a chance to try it. I do want to try one of their Bilao platters such as the All Grilled or Ultimate. But the dishes we selected were not part of them so we were happy with what we ordered.

Authentic Filipino Cuisine in Orlando. On Sundays they open at noon and a few of us were lined up right before opening. We first checked out the to-go dessert counter and ordered a couple items foe home before sitting down. Large space with plenty of tables, lovely wall decor and a mini stage with instruments. We were SO excited to see they have Filipino brunch silog so we each ordered one. Everything we had was delicious and authentic and good portions. The staff are friendly and attentive and the food came out fairly quick. My friends who live in the area already plan to come back. The ambiance was great and the location is good too. The staff is very homey and nice. They were fast to take our order, bring the food, and clean up. I love how they helped my group pack up our leftovers afterwards! Food was delicious, but the bulalo and lomi was a little salty. In addition to the soup dishes, we also got the ultimate bilao which had appetizers, side dishes, and main dish. It was very filling for a group of 4! The sago't gulaman was good, but the mango juice and calamansi juice were a tad watered down. Overall, I would definitely go again. Also, the bathroom is single stall, so when it gets busy, I can only imagine how long that line would be. The staff mentioned that there are karaoke nights, so I bet that's fun!

Ultimate bilao, great for first time trying and liking grilled foods!

If you're looking for an authentic Filipino food experience, Kamayan Grill seems to be it! My first real experience with Filipino food was a hit and multiple other large Filipino families were there. We got an ultimate bilao mixed seafood and grilled meats platter, kare kare (oxtail in peanut sauce), pinkabet (mixed veggies in shrimp paste), and Halo halo. The lumpia were great here, very meaty, filled, and not over peppery. Pork belly was another hit with high flavor and grilled nicely, not over charred. Garlic rice and the pork rinds and fish complimented nicely. I'm always a fan of okra and eggplant so the veggie selections were up my alleyway. The oxtail kare kare had a nice thick peanut sauce and super tender. Halo halo was large, shareable and had lots of dried fruit pieces in it with the shaved ice and ice cream. The only one I didn't love was the Pinot spaghetti - flavor wasn't something I liked and I dislike when rice noodles of that thickness get harder when cooled. Space has booth seating and is a medium sized place, but can accommodate large groups. There is a sound stage with a cover band at least on a Saturday and open mic karaoke with live band accompaniment. Very vibey! Definitely worth many visits back to try the rest of the menu!

Food and service is top notch. Come hungry. Enjoyed the Breakfast boodle and the crispy pata. Don't forget to end the meal with their Halo Halo. Plenty of space for families to enjoy.

Great food with great service! Stopped in for lunch with my visiting fam from Michigan. Soooo good! Food/Drinks: 4.3 Service: 4.8 Atmosphere/Vibe: 4.4 Cost: 3.9 Overall: 4.3

Totally different with the menu. And it cost 39.99. And it actually worth just like 10.

Today I went there with my son .what a scam, I ordered the 39.99 set. But then it totally different to the picture. When I ask them y,they just tell me the porkchop r all sold out. I was like why didn't u tell me earlier, then it come up just few sausages n eggs n a small fish. They don't even replace other meat and still cost me 39.99. I'm so unhappy with this.

Took my Mom to try this place out and we loved it. The staff is wonderful and kept seeing how we were doing and asked if we had any questions. The food portions are large. We had leftovers. Place is super cute. Small place but we had no wait for a table. We even had live music. He was talented too. We started with lumpia came with 6 in an order. Perfectly crispy and packed with flavor. I could eat a dozen of them. We had grilled pork skewers which had great flavor as well. I love when meats are marinated before they are cooked gives them such great flavors. No sauce needed. We went with the shrimp sinagang. Came with several large shrimp and packed with veggies. Loved the sour flavor. It had one chili in it and it packed a punch I loved it. The last dish we did was the Bikol express. Reminded me of Thai flavors with the coconut milk and shrimp paste. The pork was so tender. It had a slight spice level I would have personally liked it spicier but it was perfect for my mom. (I did eat the one little chili on it and I am sure I could have asked for more) of course the garlic rice is the perfect accompaniment to it all. My only tiny negative is that white rice should be included and an up charge for the garlic rice but rice doesn't come with any of it. Can't wait to go back and try some more dishes. (And I have to have more lumpia)

DELICIOUS FILIPINO FOOD!!! We tried so many dishes at this restaurant and we really enjoyed everything. If visiting Disney World area, you must stop by and eat here. As a Filipino missing food from Philippines, all my cravings were greatly satisfied!!!

Kamayan Grill is most definitely a hole in the wall. Pretty close, 15 minutes away from Celebration/Kissimmee, this Filipino joint may be small on the inside but food from the kitchen comes out with a bang. They definitely serve the classics like the Pancit (Filipino Rice Noodles) and Lumpia Shangai (Pork Eggroll served with Sweet & Sour sauce). It is a place to bring your family of 10 together and eat authentic Filipino cuisine, or even eating there, table for two. They also have different desserts and pastries service to your taste buds, UBE galore! You must try their Ube cake. Semi-Sweet and perfectly moist at first bite.

    Whitney M.

Staff members were very friendly. Food was pretty good. The kare kare was made with real peanut butter. We're used to having our bistek sour. There was no hint of lemon. We asked for extra onions and raw onions were placed on top of the bistek. The sinigang's sourness was perfect! I do want to come back and try their larger shade dish!

Phil-Asian Foodmart: A Taste of Authentic Filipino Cuisine…read more Location: Kissimmee, Florida Nestled in the heart of Kissimmee, Florida, Phil-Asian Foodmart offers a delightful culinary journey through the vibrant flavors of Filipino cuisine. What sets this eatery apart is its unique turo-turo style, reminiscent of the convenience of Panda Express but with a Filipino twist. Upon my recent visit, I indulged in the Filipino menudo and bistek combo, and I was not disappointed. The menudo boasted tender pieces of liver harmonizing with the savory sausage, all enveloped in a rich tomato sauce. The bistek, reminiscent of lomo saltado, was a symphony of flavors, with the tangy calamansi cutting through the richness of the soy sauce base. Surprisingly, Phil-Asian Foodmart is not merely a market but also features a cozy dining area where patrons can savor their meals on-site. It's more akin to a restaurant with a small market attached, offering the best of both worlds. However, given the changing daily selections, it's advisable to call ahead or arrive around noon to experience the full array of dishes. The culinary adventure doesn't end with lunch; Phil-Asian Foodmart also caters to early risers with traditional Filipino breakfast options from 7 am to 10 am. Longanisa with egg and garlic rice promises to be a delightful treat worth waking up for. Moreover, the market section of Phil-Asian Foodmart is a treasure trove for Filipino food enthusiasts. You can find sauces, snacks, frozen meats, bakery items, and even Filipino cosmetics. I rode my bike here today since I found out it was only 3 miles from my house. I can't wait for my next visit to Phil-Asian Foodmart. I'll bring a car next time so I can take more food home. Whether you're a seasoned aficionado of Filipino cuisine or a curious foodie looking to expand your palate, Phil-Asian Foodmart promises an authentic and satisfying dining experience.

I pretty much ordered the Classic Halo Halo - They have another version that leans more towards Americanized but the classic is the Filipino Traditional version. When it was delivered - I noticed it had more milky shaved ice than toppings. (As you can see from the picture). The toppings included - Shredded coconut, Flan, Ube Halaya, Colorful Kaong, Sweet beans, Sweetened Banana and Jackfruit. Before you can see it was more loaded in the glass. The price was $10.50 which is not bad for the size. The milk shaved ice was tooo sweet for my liking. I can tell it was a pre made milk ice block that they shaved once ordered. It fulfilled the craving nonetheless. Also I noticed some were buying the Siopao. Especially the Pork Asado one. They were almost out inside the cooler. I was told by staff that someone delivers the siopaos (the baker) and they are 4 huge siopao for $10.95. The Siopao were the BEST I have had. Better than the filipino franchised bakeries, That is how good these are. You can tell they are homemade. They are large tender soft fluffy light dough and not too thick ratio with the pork asado filling. The filling is packed inside the dough and that is what I love about this siopao. Its not mostly dough. It is evened out throughout - Every bite you get the filling. I will def get these again. Service here is ok - I noticed the check out tab .. They divide the taxes when you pay the bill and its confusing at first as to why they add 3 types of "taxes" for a bill. You are paying 3 taxes along with the sub total of the bill.
