This is located 1 block west of Queen Anne Ave N on top of the hill and the building south of McClure Middle (Jr. High when I went) School and is easily mistaken as part of the school. I learned soccer at the play field, Little League Baseball, and basketball in the gym. I learned to swim next door at the QA Aquatic Center. There is an outdoor playground, 3 baseball diamonds, and playfields (soccer usually). Locals call the playfield "Big Howe" although there is a sign on QACC that says "West Queen Anne Field House." Anybody who lives on QA that hasn't used QACC didn't grow up here. Lots of activities for all ages from toddlers to seniors. They have art classes, exercise, dance, martial arts, serve meals, etc... My kid attends the Fresh Air Preschool here and the Director has a Montessori certificate. 1 teacher per eight students and it's very affordable. They have MWF or TuTh. If they had a hotel here the Village People would've made a song: "It's fun to play at the QACC!"

My whole family loves this place!…read more Toddler gym is Tues/Thurs with lots of toys, trikes, bouncy houses, etc for the littles to go nuts on. They also have a room full of toys, huge play kitchen, puzzles, tumble mats and more. Fresh Air Preschool is the best - you can choose 2 days/week, 3 days/week, or 5 days/week. Very affordable and the teacher is Montessori certified. Both of my kids attended and loved it there - she does a fantastic job with social, emotional, and cognitive learning. School age care is also fantastic. They always seem to pack in so many activities for the kids and make it all look so effortless. We were usually pulling our son away when it was time to go. The adult pottery class is a must try - huge room to work in, lots of wheels, tools, etc. Best part is you can use the room ANY TIME the community center is open while taking classes. The weight room is also open any time and offers drop in or a low monthly fee. This place is a must if you live near!

Review of the Kiddo Play Area: So this pandemic thing is really taking a toll on things, and well,…read morewe have been to basically every open air playground around the Greenwood/Broadview/Carkeek area... except we realized that we haven't been to the one behind the PNA. So on a cold, non-rainy day, we took the kiddo there to see if it was any good. Keep in mind that it's reserved for the preschool during the week/business hours, but on the weekend, it was a nice change of scenery. They had a few play structures, on a mulch and rubberized area. Sure, parental guidance is required, and you really should have a "toddler" kiddo here... but for the kiddo, she enjoyed the slides, the "kitchen" and the tires. She being the expert of walking on narrow surfaces, I think enjoyed the areas like a balance beam master in training. If you have been everywhere, and you want a playground that is a nice scenery change, here's one more to add to the list. Also, nearby is Red Mill Burger, so there's that you could be eating, while your kiddo is playing to their heart's delight.
