We are a hardworking team & yes we do have fundraising just like any other sport out there. Nobody is forced into purchasing anything or even participating in the fundraiser, it is all optional. I personally believe in my own opinion the dance teachers are dressed professional for the profession they are in (Comfortable clothing, leggings,sneakers, etc) I just hate to see people out there using fake names on Yelp reviews trying to ruin a dance studios reputation. Many of the dancers have been dancing at this studio for 5+ years, it is like a family. My daughters personally have made the greatest friendships at this dance studio and have learned so much from the staff. They win awards and have built up their self confidence. So I do recommend Elite Dance Studio to anyone looking for a dance studio for a child of any age.

One thing that we've found here is that the teachers offer very individualized attention to each student, meeting them wherever they are in their dance journey and helping them grow and thrive. Most were younger adults (where I'm almost 50). Everyone was nice and the instructor choreographed a beautiful routine. I just wish I was in better "dance shape" to have kept up. I mistook "open" for beginner and I would not say it was a beginner class. You need to know basic terminology of dance to keep up at all. If they ever offer a beginner class I'd be apt to come back.

If I could change anything though it would be to make the lobby a bit larger so we can see them practicing with a few more seats. It is fantastic for both recreational students as well as for preparing the more serious dancers for competition, college dance teams, and professional dancing. The studio is clean and pretty and in a convenient location off Rt 1& 138 at the Tower (aka near smoothies and donuts lol), and honestly, it's worth our 25 minute drive from our town. Parents are able to watch their kids through the viewing window in each of the two studios, or just sit and chill during class on the comfy couch, chat with other parents, or watch the sunset from the chairs on the quieter side, or they can feel safe leaving their children in the teachers' care while running errands. The Teachers are kind, fun, and loving, but also stern and get down to business when they need to be. They really know how to keep the fun and joy in dancing. Val has a way of making each kid feel special and each parent feel like her best friend. And the recitals.... Just wow! They put on such an amazing performance, and a video copy of the show and professional action digital photos are included with your ticket!! I am in awe at the high skill level, perfection, beauty, and sass of all numbers, but especially the older dancers and the teams. I have been moved to tears or clapped and cheered in excitement with so many numbers. My youngest and I usually even stay to watch to second showtime to see all of the other routines because we love it so much and have so much fun at the shows. Dance Fusion helped one of my daughters follow her dreams where she lived in Los Angeles many years and was given so many great opportunities.
