I had Eric handle my case. Overall he did a great job and explained everything but it was absolutely impossible to get a hold of anyone and no one responded to voicemails. Emails were a little better luck but took a week or two and 3-4 attempts before anyone responded. When it comes to a stressful situation and finances and someone doesn't answer the phone, just causes more stress. I am glad it's all over but I really wish I had a better representation in such a huge financial decision. They also moved offices during my case and no one notified me. I filed a chapter 7 in 2016 having retained this firm to handle the case. It was completed in 2017, and I thought successfully. Then, the IRS came after me for 2013 debt that had been included in the filing. It turns out that $20k+ of IRS debt would have been discharged had this firm advised me to wait just 15 days to file the BK. For thousands in fees you would think they could have looked closely enough to advise me on timing that is a matter of clear IRS law. Also, the BK Group is often hard to reach and slow to respond to emails and other forms of communication. Unless you know the law, or plan to learn it relative to your filing, I suggest you look elsewhere for legal advice. read more
