They are usually pretty packed on Mondays and Fridays as she has a strong and loyal following. I moved to the area a year ago and signed up with her. I took her classes and was hooked. I literally craft my life schedule so I can attend as often as possible. I have spinal and lower back problems. She is a very experienced and highly qualified personal trainer. Her instruction made me stronger (cardio endurance and muscle strength), leaner and bikini ready! Also significantly improved (decreased) my back pain as I now have (visible) abs and much stronger core and balance. I am in my early 50s. I've gotten so many compliments on my physique, even told I pass for my 30s. A lot of older women in class, but don't let that fool you-these ladies blew me away with their endurance. Over time, you realize you are getting stronger and realize the improvements. Highly recommend. Oh they also offer yoga at 6:15 on Thursday evenings. Erin the yoga teacher is an experienced professional. Nikki teaches Sunday morning at 9a, and is also a very experienced fitness trainer and yoga instructor. Great classes to get invigorated and a solid stretch which is great for muscle recovery. Both are great for stress relief as well ‍

Wish I was at King's gym right now, but instead I am stuck in Maui. That should say it all. All the "people" are here, every race and creed, hard working people from laborers to white collar professionals, retirees to homemakers, teenage athletes to teenage wallflowers. All the "goals" are here, bodybuilding or powerlifting, boxing or sports specific, group classes and cardio, injury prevention or mental balance, weekend warriors or general wellness, clients with trainers for something specific or clients with trainers who like to torture their trainer for their entire lives... The equipment deserves mention, as they are the most balanced machines ever. They maintain the equipment to perfect working order, whether it is an antique relic or a brand new chinamade machine. You will be hardpressed to find something that isn't here. Top level athletes have all they need too. King's gym has a unique vibe without forcing it. The feel of King's gym is an organic phenomena that many have tried to sort out. It is unpretentious. There is a very hardworking population that is amongst this crowd, as well as folks who are serious about their gym goals. If you see someone frowning and looking rough, almost always are those the people who will light up with gentleness and laugher if you strike a conversation with them. Problems are immediately mitigated here. If there is a situation that is a threat, it is quickly irradicated. In 22 years of training here, I have seen maybe 2 issues. They were eliminated so quickly you couldn't believe it. The owners are family oriented, clean, folk. Miracle Performance is a smaller fitness studio that takes a more personal approach to well-being, while also offering alternative options that promote recovery and enhance performance. As a runner, I have periodically suffered from joint pain and patellar tendinosis, which severely limits my ability and causes unbearable pain. So, after searching online, I was happy to find that they offered cryotherapy sessions for only $20. Having read about the benefits of cryotherapy, especially its use among professional athletes, I figured it could 't hurt to try. I walked in and was greeted by one of the trainers, at which point I requested a cryo session. He directed me to a room with a cryotherapy chamber and several tanks of liquid nitrogen. As part of the safety protocol, he asked that I wear special thermal footwear and gloves in addition to the running shorts that I brought - no shirt! Once inside the chamber, he activated the gas and instructed me to rotate 90 degrees every 15 seconds so that the cold would be equally distributed. After three minutes, it was all over and I stepped out feeling rejuvenated and lively. Despite shivering and being uncomfortable at first, it was a dry cold and actually became tolerable after the first minute. The experience was awesome and the professionalism and knowledge of the trainer was superb! I have since been back several times and will continue to frequent this establishment in the future. So, the next time someone tells you to chill out, head over to Miracle Performance!
