Then, she took her time shaving my head. It was a pretty legit shave. I was dozing in and out with how relaxed I was. Talked tattoos, which, is always good. Then, I got my beard lined up. All in all, it was a very good experience. However, even after getting in the barber chair the proper way...I ended up stepping on the foot rest. I got chided. Asked for a shave. Was supposed to be 30 minutes. It was about ten. I paid her a ten dollar tip on a twenty dollar shave. Got home and ran my hand over my face. She missed my jaw line completely. I've been here several times now. It really depends which stylist you see. Their website says…read moresingle color is either all over color, or a root touch up. I thought I'd be receiving an all over color as I did the last time I booked this service. Apparently, it's only root touch up so now I'm walking around with slightly two toned hair and hoping it fades to the same shade quickly. Guess I won't be wearing my hair up for a while as it's more noticeable that way. One time I asked for layers and left with a nasty shelf. Neither were noticeable with the blowout until I got home and looked closer. The two toned hair thankfully isn't too obvious as long as I leave my hair down, but I can't help but feel I got ripped off. BTW both of these mess ups happened with the same stylist. At least they fixed the shelf. But it appears I'm stuck with this, thankfully it isn't too drastic, but I know it's there so it's bother me. Kind of like how to everyone else that zit on your face is super tiny and barely noticable, but as far as you're concerned it's the biggest, reddest nastiest pimple in the world. You're sure it's the first thing people will notice, so it bugs you. Of course, I've also walked out looking great. But for what they're charging, I'd expect more consistent services and a more accurate website description of their services. Not sure I'll be coming back anytime soon. I may go elsewhere to be honest.

I really love Michelle as a stylist, I had her do my hair 4-5 years ago and remembered her since…read morethen... but I couldn't remember her name. I was finally able to find her again through Diva's Facebook page and I'm so glad. I booked a haircut and full highlight, wanting to go back to my natural color so my hair could continue to grow and be healthy. I didn't realize I should have booked for a color correction, but Michelle moved her clients around to give more time to do my hair. I would have been more than understanding to reschedule, but thankful she was able to fit me in! One of the other ladies was amazing as well running to the store to get more product for my hair. It doesn't look like a huge change, but this was removing box color from my hair so it could better match my roots and a treatment to prevent damage. I am also not a huge talker and shy during appointments like this, but it didn't feel awkward at all and I had a chance to just enjoy being pampered and relax. Overall, I'm so grateful Michelle and the ladies were so accommodating and understanding with me. There wasn't frustration even for a split second. I will continue coming back to Michelle and recommending Diva's to everyone!
