I have been getting my hair cut at Barber's in Tanasbourne for about a year now by Lele. She is the best hair cutter I've been able to find in a long time as well as a very nice pleasant person. The cost is a few bucks more than the cut rate places but WELL WORTH IT! I recommend you give her a try. read more

They butchered my son's hair. Hair is important to a 14 year old boy, and he was proud of his locks. We took him in for a trim and before we knew it Erick had cut it all off and then gave him the most ridiculous haircut. They fixed it the next day, but he is devastated. He just started high school after a blow to his self esteem. If you take your kid here, avoid this guy. He was running late and obviously moody. read more

I got a hair cut here for the second time yesterday, I be won't be back. The first haircut was mid June 2020. It wasn't a great experience but I chalked it up to Covid-19 changes. These guys did an amazing job. This is my experience 1. Stayed in car till they called me in. 2. They made sure I wear a mask and I answered prescreening questions. 3. They made sure I sanitized my hands. 4. My barber sanitized her hands along with me. 5. The chairs were atleast 7-9 feet apart and they have like 6 people in total in the building. 6. Gave me a sanitized bib. Sanitized the chair. Sanitized the equipment. She wore gloves and a fresh pair of towels to clean everything. 7. At no point in time, I saw someone without a mask or people adjusting their masks for the haircut. Everyone was wearing it all the time they were in. Above all a good haircut. I myself am super cautious in general. But, at the level and the measures these barbershop took to make sure they sanitize everything, it kinda amazed me. Being cautious is good, but living in a fear without proper knowledge isn't (my perspective and people can differ). If you wanna look clean and sharp, go get a haircut with proper caution. I had previously left a negative review for calling ahead and getting skipped when I got there and sat for 25 minutes, and then being asked 30 minutes later, "I'm sorry, who are you?" (I had checked in up front when I got there.) The owner reached out and offered a free haircut to try it again, and it was a decent experience. I called ahead today and got my name on the list for jade. I came in and checked in like the previous time, and got skipped again. I waited there for 30 minutes, and watched walk-ins get helped before me. I'm not making this mistake again. Calling ahead is broken here, it's better to just show up. Oh well. read more

Haircut came out fine but not really what I wanted...I went in and asked for The Works and a beard trim. I have a reference picture taken by my barber from back home, he took pictures from all sides which showed how short I want it, how it's styled and how I like my beard trimmed. She barely looked at the pictures, jumped straight into it and just did her thing. I kept trying to show her the pictures but she barely acknowledged them. She threw in some product and was pretty much done, no shampoo wash or anything which is included in The Works. I had to remind her of the beard trim and she asks how short I want it. I again try to show her the reference photos taken by a professional stylist, she barely glimpsed at them and went straight to it. I went in for a simple beard trim. He chopped my beard to hell, shaved off my sideburns 2 inches above where they connect to my beard, shaved down my cheek so that one side of my beard is now lower than the other, left my beard lopsided, and when I asked him to make my mustache a little bit shorter, he shaved up my lip instead of making the whiskers shorter in length. When I said I wanted them shorter in length he smacked himself in the forehead and goes "oh right of course." Don't go to this guy unless you want to have to shave your face clean afterwards just to cover up his mistakes. read more
