What a fun place to enjoy a couple of beers with your Pup! This place opened last month, It's a dog park divided in 3 spaces: 1. The Dog Park is fully fenced, has a double fenced Entry/Exit just in case a dog tries to get out while someone is entering or leaving, they have plastic chairs around the terrain, a couple of obstacle course items, a mini plastic pool and a lot of space for the pups to run around. In this area there's always 2 - 4 employees equipped with items to stop a fight between dogs. For ex. While we where there a fight broke loose between a couple of dogs, they immediately ran to them, used an air spray (Which they pointed AWAY from the dogs, since its used to get their attention) and broke the fight. I loved that cause as you can see in my pics mine is a 5 pound Tea Cup Yorkey, so I get worried with other dogs around. They had other items but for the sake of not doing a huge review lets keep going. 2. They have an open spaced area with around 8 picnic wooden tables where you can bring your food if you like, eat and drink a couple of beers while watching your dog play right beside you. 3. Then they have the Tap Room which pretty much has a wall with 20 different options from Mad Tree, Braxton to Rose wine so yeah there's options. They have seltzers as well in a cart and even small bottle of wines as well. Its self service, they give you a card like in Dave and busters and you serve yourself the beer or wine per ounces. The screen shows you how much each poor costs, so If you like to serve just half a cup to avoid that it gets warm or maybe just have a taste to try it out you can and on the side it has the total amount that you have one that specific card so its a great way to manage your tab. Just a Small Warning. On your first time you will have to create profiles for everyone who will join you, so just a heads up, it takes a little more time than what I would've like to spend on it but it's a one time thing to sign all the liabilities, show that your dog has all the shots, etc. Prices may seem a little high at first but to be honest its worth it. If not mistaken for one day its around $10 for a month $22 (which is the one I took and will keep renewing depending on the season) and a yearly price which gets up on the $200+. But!!! If you dont have a dog you can just go for the Tap Room with no membership required. I highly recommend this place, Im always with my dog so every time I'm around the area we can just stop by, play around a bit, get a couple of cold ones and sit in the shade after a little fun. Lastly I am guessing they may be working on this already but a food truck from time to time would be a game changer LOL.

Warwick doing tricks for treats in the taproom! Taproom itself feels modern, but comfortable Patio is perfect for drinking the latest on tap, the BARKvarian is great if you're a fan of a smooth, light lager ‍ Dog park is incredible & ever expanding with new features, staff interacting with individual pups & they're trained to help owners when issues arise Incredible concept for anyone that loves dogs & drinking, or just dogs really! Perfect place to go if you don't have a dog yourself, but had a rough day & you need a cold drink with a side of belly scratches

We met the owner (along with his girlfriend and their cute dogs) of The Bark Park & Patio while at 'Bark in the Park' at the Reds game and he was very friendly! He gave us free day passes to come check out this new spot so we went with our dog + another couple and their dog and it was a great way to spend a beautiful fall afternoon! We enjoyed some drinks while our dogs had the time of their lives playing in the HUGE dog park area with balls, toy, and tons of other dogs. The check-in did take some time, so be prepared for that...you have to show proof of your dog's vaccines and fill out paperwork online. I do think you can do that in advance online, so that could save you time once you're there. For drinks, you get a card that's tied to your credit card and you just insert it at whichever drink you want and you pour it yourself into a plastic cup. You can pour a taste, half a cup, a full cup - whatever amount you want! It is a cool concept and nice that you don't have to wait on a bartender, but it is pricey. A taste was about $2. We had a really fun afternoon but I'm not sure we would pay for a membership. I could see us going a couple times a year, but there are so many free dog parks around that I just couldn't justify paying for this often. And to my dog, they're all the same! Also, if you really want to drink while your dog plays, who's saying you can't bring a tumbler of your drink of choice to the neighborhood dog park? HAHA I have not done that (yet!), but really no one would know! Shhhh

Rave reviews from these tired pups on opening day! Congrats to the Bark Park team and welcome to Florence!

We didn't bring any dogs, but we had a great time here on opening day! The food trucks on-site were super convenient, but our favorite part was the beer wall! Open a tab and just pay for what you pour. Relaxed vibes, will be back soon.

It's a dog park & a wine/beer bar all in one! Baylor & Sadie loved the park, and Jordan & I loved the bar. 10/10 recommend.

When I'm into Pokemon go, I drive around in circles spinning poke-stops and doing gym battles. That is when I would go most often. There are nice trails to walk. For the kiddos, there are multiple playgrounds, a basketball card, baseball fields, and shelters you can rent for parties. The best part of this park though is the creek. We have fun in the creek when it's warm. My kids love catching crawdads when it's warm out. I loved it as a kid too. I still have fun, especially watching them and how happy they are. Pictures will always be great memories. The only bad thing about this park, is that they took out the dog park! The dog park was so nice. There was a section for small dogs, and a section for large dogs. My dog had fun and so did I. I loved getting to play with everyone else's dogs. It was also great that it was so close to the Kenton county animal shelter. I hope they bring it back someday.

The trail is pretty level on the parking side. There is a playground, but we did not venture over to it. There once was a dog park here. A sign indicates that the park was closed "due to reoccuring damage." The sign also states that they are looking for an alternate location for the Paw Park. Rigt now thw area is a giant field. Dogs must be on a leash at this park. Many people were there with their dogs, including us. When passing eachother, people were using good doggie etiquette. People were picking up after their dogs as well. I took away a star due to the amount of trash. There were a couple of used diapers, cups, many cigarette butts and feminine hygiene products. These were more on the parking side, and many were near the water. Across the river was much cleaner.

The area is beautiful and a great place for a walk. My 4 star rating is coming from a desire for a better map, the ones they have are ok but I had a little bit of trouble at times, and then for being let down on 2 things I promised my kids. The "children's garden" has definitely seen better days and is very lackluster in general. There's nothing to do inside of it and we were honestly just confused. The other thing was the butterfly garden, all of the bushes were gone on our visit. In general, these things aren't a big deal but considering I had 4 small kids with me, these were 2 things advertised that we were looking forward to.

There's plenty of parking - regardless if you're there for a baseball game or for a nice walk. We brought our dog with us, and ended up doing the entire loop in just under an hour. We'd initially pulled up this trail in the AllTrails app, and it told us this was 1.1 miles ... we're not so sure that's accurate, since it felt like we were walking for much longer than that. Next time, we'll make sure to measure how far we've gone. Either way - what a gorgeous way to start your day! The plants and trees are all labeled, and sorted into various collections. The Magnolia Collection was by far our favorite, although that's about as far back into the loop as you can get. The trail itself is well-maintained, and wasn't too busy at all on a Saturday morning around 9 a.m. There was a good age range among the folks walking ... it was nice to everyone from families to elderly couples out for a morning stroll. We'll definitely return to this paved trail - it's especially convenient after a big rain, when you don't want to hike through the mud!

She had to get 4 stitches in her neck from another dog biting her. None of the other owners seemed to have any issue with what happened when all of these dogs came after mine for no reason at all. Tried to take her back in June. It went a little bit better until a woman with 2 dogs showed up and both of them went after my dog.
