The park is great I with covered picnic areas and decent bathrooms but what I came for was the dog park. I am watching my sisters Great Pyranese for a week and he needs a place to run around without a leash and this place is great! There is a separate area for small dogs and then a HUGE area for large dogs. I saw most reviews were upset that the terrain is so steep (and it is) but I think it's lots of fun for dogs! Lots of benches to sit and walking trails to get up and down the hill and with all the trees it stays really shady and cool. It's probably not ideal for playing fetch with your dog but if you have a dog that just love to run and smell all the smells....this is the place for you. I will also agree with one of the other reviewers, most of the people that come are super snotty. Better bring a book :)

    Part of playground area.

Contains plenty of parking, a well groomed playground, a softball field, two picnic shelters, a dog park, and a small disc golf course. Wonderful park for joggers and families!

Right across the way is the less busy one for those people who have dogs who are a bit anti social. There's water for the dogs and trash bags go pick up poop. My small complaint is the dog owners who go here. A lot of them let their dogs physically bite or swipe in a non playful ways and others do not pick up their dog's poop. Besides those two complaints I continue to bring my dog here because she loves running around and making friends.

Needless to say, the location of this park causes floods every now and then when the Little Miami rises but it's wonderful when it's open. The dog park is split into 4 locations. Two big/medium fields, one field for smaller dogs under 22lbs and across the street is a small fenced area if your dog is being unruly and needs a time out by themselves. For the most part people clean up after their dogs but we do usually come across some piles, unfortunately. That's the only reason I'm knocking this park a star. There are a few boxes with poop bags but they're widespread. It'd be nice to have more bag boxes. Each big field has a few benches and a water fountain. As you leave, you'll find one more water spicket to wash off with. Sometimes this park can get suuuuuper muddy. Pro tip: add yourself to the Otto Armleder Dog Park FB group to get updates from other dog parents about field conditions.

They also have water for dogs, benches to sit on, a picnic table to eat at, and a gorgeous huge ancient oak tree that my dog climbed up, impressing another dog owner. There are plenty of poop bags and garbage cans to dispose of your dogs' poop. Some owners didn't pick up their dog's poop but that is the owners' fault. I picked mine's up. My dog had so much fun running around with me, I had brought a toy. Since it was a wet cooler (but warm for the month) weekday midday we were alone for a while then joined by a sweet lady bulldog. When a small beagle came in, it chased my dog around and when another sleek fast dog joined the beagle in chasing my dog, the beejesus was scared out of my dog. I sat on the bench and my 70-lb pitbull jumped in my lap for protection from the dogs.

She never had any issues at all and all the other dogs seemed to love her and want to play with her. We took her in April and she got attacked by all of the other 14 dogs that were there, tried to hide behind a man sitting against the fence to get away from the other dogs. She had to get 4 stitches in her neck from another dog biting her. None of the other owners seemed to have any issue with what happened when all of these dogs came after mine for no reason at all. Tried to take her back in June. It went a little bit better until a woman with 2 dogs showed up and both of them went after my dog. We left before it got bad, but that woman had nothing to say about the way her dogs were acting. Lots of unaltered and aggressive dogs with seemingly irresponsible owners. Definitely wouldn't recommend going here unless you want to deal with a stressful situation every time you take your dog to the park.

It is a huge, open space that has an old run down water tower in the center that has been painted by Cincinnati Art Works. The mural features a lot of bright colors and of course, pups. There is a water area for drinks, benches for you to sit while your pup plays and plenty of trash cans and doggie bags for easy clean-up. This is a dog park you have to pay to have membership too, which personally I love, that way you know all the dogs are up to date on shots, flea medicine, vaccines and (hopefully) tend to not be aggressive. That being said they are still dogs. To purchase the membership you must go to Julifs Park in Anderson to get membership before you can even check it out because it is locked and gated. And for good reason, members are very good about not giving out the passcode to even not only their dogs but all dogs in the dog park safe. If you live in Anderson, you also get a discount to this park so if you're looking for some social interaction for your doggo - head to Kellogg Dog Park!

We rode the free streetcar here from Findlay Market in Cincinnati (May 2026). There's street parking on all sides of the park, and 450-space underground parking on Elm Street that you can check for open-spaces online. We strolled through the flat paths, pausing here and there on the many sometimes-shady benches. Us adults read various historical and commemorative markers. The kids played a little in the fountain, then played more in the sunnier playground to (mostly) dry out before the return ride to Findlay. There was a nice open-air bar in the middle of the park, nice restaurants and bars within a couple blocks in all directions, at least one vacation rental, and at least one rentable event venue in a historic building. There's Wifi! Public restrooms :-) A dog-park. Woof! The website said food trucks, but we didnt look for them. There are free concerts and movies and yoga and monthly flea markets, but not midday on the weekday when we were there. This is a nice relaxing easy-to-reach 8-acre greenspace with lots going on, in the western part of OTR, and a destination for all kinds of activities. Well done, Cincy!
