Even my wedding first of April in the evening was very warm with all of the people in the reception. we also rented both air bnbs for the wedding weekend which was conveniently all next to each other on the venue's property. "The suite" air bnb is very nice , but when you run the water or take a shower it make a horribly unbearable smell that nothing makes go away and lingers badly. The main house upon arrival was a mess , and the inground pool was promised to be clean but was not. My recommendation for the owners would be to turn it into a coy pond and add rocks and plantation with fish. They do not keep the property as nice and well kept as it easily could be. Not sure why they don't take the extra time to fix the issues and make this venue and property as great as its potential beauty is.

We rented a fairly expensive two bedroom condo on the second floor at "Waters Edge". It has an elevator so that 96 year old Grandmom could be comfortable. Because we live in Dallas, and parking lots are clearly labeled tow-away if there are restrictions, we paid attention when we arrived to be sure we were not parking in a tow away zone. We did not notice the subtly painted numbers over the covered spaces, however, since most of the spaces were empty when we arrived, and, as I said, there were no "No Parking Signs" or "Tow Away" signs. There was also no mention of parking restrictions on the rental agreement which Will had emailed to us. Imagine our surprise when we took our bags down to load the car on the 26th and found it gone. A note in the parking space said a tow company had taken it and would charge $250 to give it back. When I called Will to ask for help, his only response was, "Well, I'm not paying the towing fee. Didn't you see the number on the parking space? Well, no, we didn't see the number (about 2-3 inches high and painted the same color as the parking shed) for the reasons mentioned above. Even if we had seen the number, we might not have figured out that a particular space was ours since it wasn't mentioned in the rental agreement. My guess is that the rental agreement has now been updated to explain parking, but that won't help us, will it, Will? Too bad. We had once enjoyed doing business with Hamilton Shores.

I contacted several event places in Conway, I chose them because they were warm, friendly, and flexible with my schedule. Their competitor only see's brides between 10-4 on Tuesdays. Our cocktail hour included the mini-italian meatballs, cheese-stuffed mushrooms, Mac & Cheese 'Tini, and a large charcuterie board. For the entrees we selected the garden salad, bread rolls, caprese chicken, pork tenderloin with chasseur, stuffed acorn squash, harvest vegetables, tri-color roasted potatoes. For dessert we had the berry pana cotta, milk chocolate truffle, and our wedding cake. The big talk about our wedding was how wonderful the food was and how much there was! We were repeatedly told that the food was the BEST they had ever had and my husband and I completely agree! Everyone at Vibrant Occasions was a pleasure to work with! When we did our tasting, we gave feedback on the chicken and they worked to improve it and allowed us to return to re-try it and it was perfection! We plan to ask for the recipes so we can recreate our magical experience on our anniversary!

Let me preface my long-overdue review with this...having a "destination" wedding is very difficult…read morewhen you don't know the area, the vendors, etc. But Leah and Serge couldn't have made it any easier for us! Our daughter was married at Legacy Acres in February, and we hired Vibrant Occasions to be our caterer for the event. We flew in for a tasting after NUMEROUS phone conversations and emails. Leah opened their headquarters just for us on a Saturday (when you know they're already busy as heck with orders) and we tasted many different food options from apps to entrees to sides to desserts. All were incredibly good, with great attention to detail, quality, and preparation. We went from originally wanting a sit-down 3-course meal to rounds of passed hors d'oeuvres, food stations, and a late-night snack. Again, Leah worked with us and our many changes, without complaint and knocked it out of the park! That girl has the patience of a Saint!! We started with the passed hors d'oeuvres during the cocktail hour, which included Bacon-Wrapped Cocktail Smokies, Spinach Artichoke Crostini, Mini New England Crab Cakes, and Cajun Shrimp Shooters. We moved into the "action" stations once the bride and groom arrived. This was fantastic as they set up stations on both sides of the venue to alleviate the ugly lines that we all hate so much at weddings! One side had Grilled Chicken Sliders, Ham & Cheese Sliders on Garlic Cheddar Biscuit, A Dinner Salad w/choice of dressings, House Made Potato Chips, then one of my favorites, the Macaroni & Cheese Bar with ALL the toppings you could wish for! The other side of the room had the taco action station where they served Korean BBQ tacos, Chili Lime Shrimp Tacos, a Vegetarian Taco, and of course a few sauces to accompany them. And the tacos were made to order!! Even had a Vegan option - the Stuffed Zucchini Boats! But my favorite part of the night was the last action station, which we opened at 9:30 pm... The late-night snack, which after dancing and drinking for hours was FANFREAKINGTASTIC!! Cheesesteak Sandwich baby! A Shaved Black Angus prime strip steak seared with fresh peppers and onions on a toasted hoagie roll topped with Jalapeno Cheese Sauce served with a side of Rosemary Au Jus for dipping. HELLO LOVER!! They even brought their mobile kitchen to Legacy to ensure the food was hot for our guests! As you can see from the pictures provided, the food was incredible! I cannot thank the team at Vibrant enough for all they did for our daughter's special day. From Leah/Serge to the servers, the cooks, the runners, etc. All were professional, prompt, polite, and extremely skilled in food service. We would hire them again in a second, but you should hire them NOW for your special occasion!
