Such a cute and fun wine bar off the main area in Hot Springs! They offer inside and outside seating. Good wine selection and cocktails. Service was great and efficient. We had a group of 9 and easily was able to sit all together, so great for groups!

What a sweet find! While looking for another shop in this unfamiliar neighborhood, we happened upon Splash and walked in at 4 just as it opened. The old building has been lovingly restored and tastefully decorated with comfy booths in the bar area and an open and airy garden patio out back. The bartender was friendly and prompt with our order; the cocktails were tasty. This is a great bar and I'd definitely hang out there if I lived in Hot Springs!

We loved the ambience, especially the seating area outside on the deck. They have lots of different wines to choose from, however, when we went, there were several that they were out of. Service was ok. We had to go inside to order several times. The wines were good, the charcuterie was good (nothing fresh, all grocery store-bought),, and the night we went they had live music, which was awesome. We met other people there and had a great time hanging out!

Brownie bites!

The restaurant had live music out on the patio! The wine list had a lot to choose from and these brownie bites were AMAZING!

Great staff!

This place is more of a tappas meet up after dinner type place. Good atmosphere, good drinks but don't go hungry. They have a limited menu.

To accompany our happy hour wines my son and I ordered two of his favorite things: Mixed Mediterranean Olives ($5.50) and a Spanish cheese ($9). Perhaps I've spent too long in the Bay Area or perhaps they do things differently in Arkansas but the mountainous bowl of olives that arrived at our table sparked utter joy. This wasn't 5, 10, or even 15 olives; I think it might've been a whole jar's worth. It was not only amusing, but an utter delight. One hundred percent chance of a return visit for the olives alone. We followed with the Spanish cheese and more wine but there was no getting beyond the olives. That's what we'd be talking about. Forever. By the Glass has a good happy hour ($5/glass for selected wine) which pertains only to the wines. It's a low-key, comfortable, unpretentious spot that's received recognition as the best bar, the best wine bar, the best trendy bar, and the best happy hour bar from a variety of publications. During my visit it was quiet and welcoming, an environment I'd feel equally comfortable in either solo or with friends. If you like wine, "By the Glass" is a good find. If you like olives it's even better.

We were with a large group, and they really stepped up in service. All of our planning was handled ahead of time, and the staff was attentive throughout the entire experience. The whole thing was a big disappointment. I had the spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were obviously leftover. They were hard and dry. After tasting a meatball, I didnt eat them. The meat sauce was ok, but flooded the dish and smothered the pasta. My wife's pasta dish was just OK. Actually, the server pointed out a guy in the kitchen and said he was a Michelin rated chef...sorry, but no way. Doing a search, I read that there are no Michelin rated chefs in Hot Springs. I ordered an expensive glass of red wine and it was served in a small white wine glass. Anyway, I'm not going to waste my time bashing J&S. I think I've made myself clear. It was a total disappointment and a waste of $120.00. Obviously, we wont be going back.

The menu lights up as you open it and everything on it sounded delicious. The servers, Peter and Emily, were so fun and helpful! They brought out these heavenly yeast rolls basted in truffle butter...what??? I got the market fish special which was grouper, and my husband got the grilled pork chop. Come with an empty stomach if you get the pork chop. It is a very generous portion and is delicious! The grouper was perfection...crispy on the outside, light and flakey inside, sitting atop beautiful spring vegetables and a lovely light beurre blanc sauce. It was topped with edible flowers and micro greens. I regret that I did not take a photo (we were so hungry), but it was just divine. The chef came over to ask what we thought and we told him everything was amazing. The staff were absolutely lovely. We can't say enough good things. This is what a restaurant experience on vacation should be like. What a gem! Hopefully next time we visit we can try the dessert menu! We won't even get into how they make bread pudding out of those delicious rolls...

We happened to stumble upon this gem randomly during our trip to Hot Springs, Arkansas not expecting much but wow were we absolutely blown away. First, you walk into a dimly lit, intimate dining area and seated at a table with very comfy chairs and menus that light up for visibility. Next, your waiter is SO knowledgeable about every item on the menu. I had history lessons about the rice production in the area while learning about which dishes to choose. While waiting for your food, you are served an edgy orange-glazed dinner roll that is simultaneously intriguing and comfortingly familiar. A delicious twist on a classic. The head chef also came around serving an amuse-bouche of another experimental apple dish which was an explosion of flavor in my mouth. Food comes- oh my goodness I cannot explain how amazing the Chislic beef tips were. Every component of this dish was just so thoughtfully crafted and well-blended. Each bite was bursting with flavor and energy. My partner also loved the potato soup. Our mains were equally impressive- my fennel rice in particular knocked my socks off. I have never tasted rice so decadent and aromatic in my life. The salmon was of course great but certainly not the star of the show. Finally, the bread pudding at the end was the cherry on top of the culinary bliss we had just experienced. I would drive 10 hours back to Hot Springs just for this restaurant. So sad it has to be so far. Do not miss your opportunity to come here if you happen to be in town!!
