CVS is the number one place we buy all your pharmaceutical products. Fair pricing and accommodating when needed. Plus, our medical insurance for prescriptions is with CVS. The only problem I have with CVS is the wait time at their pharmacy. It almost seems that they do not have enough people working the counter. I also believe they should update the appearance of their locations. This location is better than the others in the area, and I actually thought the individual that provided my Pfizer vaccination was informative about the NY vaccination digital badge. read more

UPDATE: I return to CVS after I see my primary. Unfortunately, CVS was behind in filling orders and I had a medical. Barbara escalated my medication, we agreed I would park on the opposite side of the CVS pharmacy window. I'm waiting patiently and listened. Low and behold a full figured Karen speeding to go around the CVS building starts honking. I politely signal her to go back up. The Karen exploded like a cannon, bellowing and approaching my suv. I calmly rolled up my window as the CVS KAREN did not have a mask on and was demanding I move my suv. Here I'am in a medical and I do not have to explain myself but THE COMMACK CVS KAREN waving her phone is bellowing "I'm taking a picture of your License Plate. I thought "wow she is a idiot too this is a private commercial building and is threatening me a medical". Within 10 minutes a very nice gentleman approach my suv and it was none other then the CVS Team Leader Steven Chadworth. I introduce myself, Mr. Chadworth took his time to understand I had a medical and said, "she call the store and did not want to back up and was racing through the back pharmacy window. I came out to speak to you to get your side of the story. Mr. Chadworth very concern now that I'am a medical waiting patiently for my medication took charge. Spoke to the pharmacy and they expedited my script and he asked me to come to the front of the building. To meet Bella the technician so she could give me my medication with a smile. THEN THE COMMACK FULL FIGURE CVS KAREN COMES WALKING BY BELLOWING INTO HER PHONE TOTALY IRATE TELLING SOMEONE OF HER INTERPRETATION OF WHAT SHE THINKS HAPPEN? A ONE STAR CVS PHARMACY MORNING WENT TO 5 STARS GOOD AFTERNOON Thank you Steve Chadworth, Barbara & Bella !! EARLY CVS MORNING I called the Commack CVS Pharmacy driving down Commack Road. I was on hold for over 15 + minutes. I was in the parking lot and drove around to the window. No cars so I pulled up. Here I notice no one was coming to the window so I open my door and rang the bell. The pharmacy worker Ketsia was not answering the call. I watch her even avoid me when I pulled up. When I rang the bell, beep my horn then waved her down she approach the window. I call her out on the telephone and pointed to my iPhone that the call was ringing but her telephone was not. On discovery Commack CVS shut down their telephone I asked for the pharmacist all she would say is I was correct. When I asked for my walk in flu shot I was told to make a appointment but CVS signage says walk in welcome? I asked for a ear medication over the counter. The store did not have it. I asked for them to locate it at another store. She refused and went to her the store manager Harry. Harry told me he did not know of any other stores I can go and refused to assist me? No curtesy just plain outright poor customer service. Maureen now in customer service is taking my complaint, complaint # S4489285, District Manager Yasir Chaudhry ... he will call me, name of the pharmacist store leader Steven Chasworth is in the store. Manager Harry is there who I spoke too. I was refused a walk in flu shot but their telephone customer complaint service was excellent !! Commack CVS on Commack Road has been a downward spiral for six years. Facebook Moms complaints, Yelp complaints and Commack Community. The staff here is always helpful, I've known them for years. I got every thing I need for the week at a good price. The management is always on top of everything and makes sure the shelves are stocked. There's plenty of parking and there's a station with people making it fast and smooth at checkout. There are self checkouts and regular people to help you readily available. read more

If I could give ZERO stars I would this place is a disgrace how does the whole pharmacy go to lunch at the same time, when someone is suffering with an infection and needs antibiotics they are turned away and told to come back later because they are on lunch, yes because the fat woman behind the counter care more about stuffing her face than helping a customer to even check to make sure they have the RX from the doctor, I will be filing a report with CVS read more

The absolute worst - and that's saying something. Couldn't get through to check on my rx in the phone after waiting on hold for 20 min - twice. Went down and stood in line for another 40 min. The phone ringing AND NOT A SINGLE PERSON EVEN BLINKING to pick up the phone. After 40 min I finally got to the register and it took another 30 min of looking and telling me theee was no script we finally discover the guy doesn't know the difference between a C and R. **PHARMACIST ALMOST KILLED ME** On Friday December 13th I picked up a prescription for a pain medication and was not made aware that it interacts in a major way with my anxiety medication. As a result I ended up in the hospital with serotonin syndrome. Someone should lose their pharmaceutical license for negligence. This was pure laziness and it ended horribly. I have used this CVS for years- minor issues, but nothing worth the complaint. Today February 6, 2018 is my breaking point. My son is sick, along with everyone else lately. I understand having to wait- and I'm willing to do my fair share. I put my prescription in at 12:00pm. I have tried calling 4 times throughout the day and waited on hold for 10+ minuets with no answer. My son needs his medication- finally at 4:00 I decided to take the trip with a toddler in the cold who has 103 fever because I NEED the medicine- I sat on the drive through line for 20 minuets only to be told they did not fill the order yet and they needed another 40 minuets. I went home to attempt to feed my very ill child who is in a lot of discomfort. After waiting until 6:00 and no call for a ready prescription I decided to call again- and what do you know? No answer again. Finally I called the front desk requesting that they ask someone to answer the line so I can simple INQUIRE about my sons medicine. I was told "I can't do anything I have to stay here I can transfer you and you can wait" So I requested I be transferred to a manager in hopes they could at least get someone from pharmacy on the line- when the manager answered his response was "I can transfer you and I'll let them know you're on hold but I can't help you" After being transferred to the pharmacy I waited for another 5 minuets- someone answered "hello what can I do for you" the person answering sounded bitter most likely because they were told I was upset about waiting and they were probably frustrated about having a busy & tough day.. I said, "I understand you are busy I was wondering if you could check on my prescription" the person acted as tho they couldn't hear me and hung up- It's now 7:30 and I don't have my prescription and my son has been crying in pain for 7.5 hours while I fight with CVS play phone tag and wait on line only to be sent away- I am gettin no communication, no help and no medicine. I understand people have bad days and some days are worse than others and this wouldn't bother me if I wasn't aware of how they work- I have told them multiple times to stop refilling prescriptions I have on file until I request them- they have yet to honor my request so instead they are filling a prenatal that is not necessary and will likely not be picked up for five days only so they can restock and refill it again when I finally request it- they are inefficient causing issues with being overwhelmed when people who are sick actually need medications and are not receiving them because they can not prioritize or take direction. I do not suggest using this CVS PHARMACY and I will be changing my pharmacy for future issues- they are not reliable. read more

WARNING! Prescriptions are never ready when they say. I was notified by the app two days ago that one of my prescriptions was easy ready. Waited 20 minute on line only to be told I to sit and wait for it to be ready. I sat with 4 other people who had the same story. Prescriptions are NEVER ready when they say they are. Over and over again. Also, I specifically told them 6 Times (because they kept doing it) not to auto refill, yet I get "your prescription is ready" text for scripts I didn't order. Today was the last straw. My doc sent a prescription in last week and I got to CVS yesterday to pick it up. After waiting 10 minutes on line. I asked the clerk for my prescription. He checked the computer and said they had no prescription. When I told him the doc sent it over a few days before, he motioned for me to get out of the way and stand at the drop off counter. They are extremely disrespectful, I just moved to the neighborhood and I am looking to change to another CVS. I never experienced anything like this at my old location. I have been using this CVS for over 10 years now. In addition to being a great pharmacy it is also a great convenience store. Shelves are always stocked with any item you may need and are always on top of their holiday merchandise. The pharmacy seems to always have my prescriptions when other pharmacies do not carry them. If they don't they get them relatively quickly (within a day or so). Their drive thru pharmacy is great to pick up prescriptions in bad weather or if you are feeling too lazy to remove yourself from car, or physically can't exert energy to walk to the counter. When I have had my medication called or sent in. They have it ready usually within 30-45 minutes. The staff at the pharmacy counter are great and very helpful! If you live in the area I highly recommend using them as your pharmacy. read more

Sometimes when your sinuses are about to explode, you need to hit the closest pharmacy you can find. Luckily, I found this one. To me, it was all I can really ask for in a pharmacy; large, no line, more than one cashier, easy in/out, clean, 24hr, meds on sale... perfecto. Worst one I have ever been too. Unfortunately the people here do not like their jobs as they made it clear on Easter by one cashier showing haphazardly dressed, miscounted my money, took 10 mins to scan everything I had, and then forgot to put my items all in the bag. What was worse then him was the other old man cashier crying about how he had to work on a Sunday and the managers know he should be off. He was also slow and the line was incredibly long. Some people need to learn customer service skills and even though you are mad at being at work (on Easter Sunday) no one else cares. Pretty much always have a problem with this pharmacy. They either don't answer the phone at all or they answer and put you on hold and never pick up. Waited 10 minutes the first time I called, then hung up. Called again a little while later and this time waited 15 minutes, no one picked up so I hung up. Called again a while later and asked the automated system to speak with a manager. Someone from pharmacy picked up and put me on hold again for another 10 minutes. Of course I hung up again. every time I go this CVS the lines are long. today was especially frustrating as I waited in line to get to the register and find out that the product I was buying was buy one get one 50% off. I was only purchasing one and had a 40% off coupon and was told that I couldn't use it because it's on sale. The worst pharmacy ever!!! Waiting 12 hours for a prescription to be filled when I was told it will be done in 15 min. This is not the first time this has happened. Everytime I go to pick up meds there is always an issue. Today there was at least 10 customers also with the same issues. The pharmacist who works on Sunday evenings is extremely nasty. I called to see if my doctor called in a script for me and she told me no. A few hours later I got an email from my doctor saying he sent the script over so I call again and she tells me no you called before and I told you there was nothing here I'm the same pharmacist you spoke to before! I let her know my doctor told me he sent it in and that it was an emergency and she just continued to be nasty. My doctor called there and must have been firm with her because it was ready in 10 minutes which never happens there. When I went to pick it up and gave my name the girl helping me laughed. I must have been the talk of the pharmacy for calling twice to just check on a perscription. The customer service there is horrible and they all should take a class on how to treat people . I'm writing this review for my boss who was at this CVS location yesterday. This was by far the best customer service she has experienced in a long time! This is hands down the worst CVS I have ever dealt with I've come to pick up prescriptions here 3 times, and every single time there is a problem. Today I came to pick something up and somehow my prescription was deleted and here I stand an hour later still waiting. This is completely unbelievable and beyond unacceptable.
