We recently had a work function for 100 persons at this beautiful spot. The owners' were helpful in every way, from the planning to the execution, and went above and beyond to make sure we all enjoyed our date, even when faced with a few last minute challenges. The interior was beautifully decorated and the outside was immaculate. Every aspect of the event was thought thru. We could not have put this on without their help and we really appreciate it. My husband and I were married at The Barns earlier in the Spring of 2019. My first impression via the initial correspondence was not that great (didn't seem very friendly) - as a result of that and a visit to another venue, we nearly went with that other venue, but we'd already booked a visit and decided we should make our decision with all of our options being explored. We visited the venue in late summer 2018 and fell in love with it, so we booked it. We were married this past spring and our experience couldn't have been better - Anna and our other vendors were so incredibly helpful to ensuring things ran smoothly (I see an earlier review indicates another couple's family felt they overstepped - I guess it can be taken either way, depending on who you are). The three doors in the barn's reception area were extremely useful on our big day, as there was a large amount of unexpected wind, managed by closing doors during the ceremony, cocktail hour, and parts of the reception. We felt like we were able to access a reasonable amount on the property for our event, photos, etc. We wanted to do some drone flyovers, but due to the horses, we couldn't - and that was entirely fine. It didn't ruin our wedding day - our loved ones were all present, our day was photographed beautifully, we had all the ingredients for a great party, and we had a perfect setup for what we wanted our wedding celebration to be! Words of advice - if there is a rule or regulation about something, the owners going to stand by it. It's their venue, they can manage it as they please. If you don't like the rules or time constraints, ask the owners about them, and if they're not willing to accommodate and it's a non-negotiable for you, don't book the venue. It's literally that easy. There wasn't anything we felt to be unreasonable, but that is entirely relative to us - we're pretty low maintenance people. We were fine needing to be off the property by a certain time - wedding days are long and expensive days. We held our reception at the Barns in August and we could not have been more thrilled with the venue! Anne took care of us in ensuring we had clear expectations of the day. She allowed us to tour the venue and plan our own set up which accommodated our needs. The guest were thrilled with the feel of the environment and enjoyed watching the horses nearby. We brought our own Hawaiian flair to the barns since our wedding was in Hawaii. Although it is not typical to have this type of theme in a horse barn, everything flowed together perfectly! Anne frequently checked in with us to make sure we were okay and she mingled with the family. Overall, it was a great experience and I would recommend the space to anyone looking for a barn venue in the area. The venue is beautiful and can make any special occasion absolutely perfect with some changes by ownership. Our day was just short of being over the top simply because of the owner Anna. This place is a horse farm that is in the process of trying to incorporate a wedding venue. Any sort of outside the box "non traditional" wedding idea will not be tolerated due to the horses in the area. Time restrictions are strictly enforced, which is fine to an extent. Due to not being off the property by 11pm the night of the wedding due to still loading up, we had the owners in the venue "assisting" with removing all of our belongings with a uncomfortable vibe and attitude directed towards our families. Anna had made several remarks to multiple family members during our two days on the property that made us feel that we were just more of a inconvenience to them during our time there. At the end of the day, we still didn't allow this venue to determine the outcome for our special occasion. We still got the most out of it all and had a memorable time with our loved ones. We just wouldn't recommend this venue to anyone though just because of how we were treated and the several issues we faced from the time the contract was signed until our wedding was completed. *Also, there was a gate used that blocked off the entrance close to the front door of venue that would be used to drop off handicap visitors. We had several family members ,that have a hard time walking longer distances, forced to park in the general parking field and walk the whole way up to venue entrance. This is illegal and should be changed immediately. None of the property had been mowed or prepared for our event so having a vehicle drive up to the door and turn around in the field shouldn't be that big of a concern I wouldn't think. read more

Our Daughter had the most beautiful wedding and reception for her special day. We could not have been more pleased with the entire area/set-up for all of our guests, including one special lady that was in the wedding and in a wheel chair getting around in and out of the venue with No Issues. The parking area was more than enough room, plenty of restrooms and dance floor. Our guests were so pleased to see the horses along the fence line watching everything we were doing. I want Anna and Jacob to know how much we appreciate everything they did to help us have a perfect day with our Family and Friends. If someone I know or we ever needed a gathering place I would absolutely return to The Barns at Maple Valley to make more wonderful memories! read more

What an absolutely perfect venue for our daughter's wedding this past weekend. There are not enough words to show the appreciation we have for the wonderful owners of this venue. They are kind, very knowledgeable and treat you like you are family. Fantastic experience from first meeting until the end. The owner Anna, can't do enough for you. She is always accessible and communicates promptly. She offered suggestions when we needed help and she even went above and beyond 10 days before the wedding to secure a DJ for us when previous had a family emergency and cancelled. What a wonderful memory for our daughter and new son-in-law. I highly recommend The Barns at Maple Valley Farms. read more

I recently attended a wedding at this venue. Upon arriving I could not believe the gates were closed to the handicapped parking. I am very familiar with disabled individuals and understand their needs quite well. Individuals that wear brace or prosthetics have a very difficult time ambulating on uneven terrain. It requires a great deal of energy and concentration not to fall. If someone is planning to attend your wedding that is disabled this is not the venue for you. They have two nicely marked handicapped parking spots that will be open and available when you tour the facility, but on "your day" they will be blocked off. Your disabled guests will have to transverse a field. Therefore they will have hidden uneven terrain to get through. I was appalled to see this and felt very discouraged for the elderly people that attended this wedding. Fortunately the bride and groom are so well respected and loved by their attendees that this did not ruin their wonderful day. Their are numerous other issues I could discuss but I will leave well enough alone for now!! Be warry of this venue!!! read more
