Was recommended by a friend, so I stopped by on a weekday for brunch. The service was super welcoming and quick, which I loved. The food was a solid 7/10, and the ambience was really chill--the interior gave me Sandlot meets A League of Their Own vibes. If you're looking for something quick and sweet, I'd definitely recommend this spot.

This is my second and last attempt to patronize this establishment. I came in for a coffee and a tart for my birthday before work but left with nothing as the girls working were unwelcoming and rude. When I walked in I was not greeted, I even made eye contact. Walked over to the pastry counter to see if they had tarts, the girl behind the counter didn't even look up and said if you want drinks order over there (pointed to kiosk) if you want food I'll be with you in a minute. Me and the guy next to me looked at each other like well ok then. I head over to the kiosk to look at the drink menu and it's kinda confusing. Poor customer service. I got frustrated and left.

The Batter Up Bakery exceeded my expectations. They were responsive, professional, and affordable for the exceptional service they offer. They delivered on presentation, quality, and service. The custom cake turned out beautifully!

Lemon bar that was stuck to the side of the to go container.

The lady that greeted me was super helpful and nice. So I ordered a chicken w/salsa verde and a lemon bar. I wanted to eat my Tamale in my car but the lady said it was "COLD". She said they have a third party deliver them. Why would they sell "COLD" tamales. Specially for $6.99 each. OMG I couldn't believe the price. $6.99 a piece or $70.00 a dozen lol. I said to my self they are probably a good size but when I got home this tamale was so small. I think a Snicker is probably bigger. I'm so disappointed never ever going back. My lemon bar was stuck to side of the to go container. So I didn't get to taste it with the powder sugar.

Wedding dessert sampler

Do not recommend to anyone. Scheduled a wedding dessert tasting here and had some hope as options are already limited in Temecula. The bakery looked promising with all of the fake cakes decorated around. However, all of the dessert truly missed the mark. The plate of desserts we received was clearly placed in the refrigerator overnight - which ruins some of the desserts we had. For example, the cannoli shells were so soft, when they are supposed to be crunchy. I understand these desserts are made beforehand and need to be refrigerated so obviously I was worried about my own wedding desserts because it would the same case and I cannot serve soft cannolis at my wedding. The cakes, creme puffs, and additional desserts all missed as well. Honestly we were there two minutes took a bite of each, paid $40 for the testing, and left. I would look elsewhere for wedding dessert options.

Ordered the lunch bagel sandwich & was disappointed. Didn't have the cheese I wanted... & it came back with brown lettuce & my tomatoes were frozen. Definitely will not order again. Not fresh at all ! & my coffee tasted like water :(

I went to Batter Up Bakery after Panera bread and though I enjoyed Panera I liked Batter up batter (better ;). Their Croissant ham and cheese is less, though I liked Panera's slightly better. Overall I liked Batter Up because their selection is huge and they are more reasonably priced than Panera. The service is friendly and though Panera's seating indoor and outdoor was nice, I preferred Batter up because they had a comfy leather couch and a huge outdoor seating area. Also the decor In Batter up is quite unique and eclectic.

Cupcakes for gender reveal
Sam M.

I recently found out that I am pregnant and my fiancé called to see if they offer gender reveal cakes they were so amazing the service was 10/10 and the cupcakes they provided were perfect for me and my partner to enjoy together it was a very intimate moment as we're very private it was absolutely perfect! The cupcakes were yummy and they were just so sweet I cried ! I definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone this is my favorite bakery

Was in town for an event and decided to check out options on the Too Good To Go app. Popped in right before closing to pick up our order. Samantha hooked it up. I was disappointed to hear they had already shut down the coffee machines, but Samantha came in clutch with a coffee shop rec in the downtown area. A+ service and will be coming back for the full experience when I'm in town again.

Easy to order, always on time, cake and sweets taste the best. Service is always great and friendly and the coffee house portion of it is so cozy and great spot to have coffee and read a book.

Super sad about this bakery. I went in and everything looked wonderful, didn't try anything. But I ordered 1 dozen "gluten friendly" cups cakes. Then I arrived to pick up my cupcakes, they showed me a beautiful box of 12 mini cupcakes. I asked if they were gluten friendly like I ordered (my email receipt confirms i ordered "gluten friendly". They said they made a mistake and the cupcakes are not gluten free. So instead they offered me 4 full sized gluten free cupcakes and a slice of their gluten free chocolate cake. . I thought it was very nice and I accepted. Then I got home and opened the box. I got 4 huge, stale bricks of cake, no frosting. They tasted like cardboard and were terrible. I was given frosting on the side, odd, but it was crunchy and flavorless. I was tasting these hoping to order a gluten free cake for my wedding in March, but I just can't. I would give this a 1 star if it wasn't for the kind women at the counter, they were very sweet and I appreciate their help. But I would much rather have just a refund, than a stale unfrosted cupcakes.

WOW... The mixed berry danish is incredible

Absolutely LOVE all of the incredible baked goods and treats that the Chef's make at this baseball themed coffee shop and bakery. Batter Up makes anything and everything from cookies, creme brulee, tarts, scones, muffins, and cakes... Not just cakes for any occasion, I'm talking multi-tiered incredibly beautiful wedding cakes as well! Pure deliciousness!!!! The friendly people here at Batter Up always go the extra mile with service to answer questions and help you pick out something amazing (it all is). Huge bonus that Batter Up Bakery is a shared space with Bean Coffee Roasters. So a chill environment That you can come hang out and work or do homework or just relax and read. 11/10 I enthusiastically recommend coming to Batter Up. This is a FOODIE PARADISE.

Which we ate for dinner, and they were great. I am a scone snob. I hate overly dry scones. It's hard to describe scones, but these were the way I love them!

I went with the Vanilla Bean Sea Salt Scone, and it was delicious. They warmed it up for me, and for being gluten-free, it was surprisingly soft, moist, and full of flavor. If you have celiac disease like I do, I would consider this more gluten-friendly than celiac-safe. The gluten-free scones were displayed next to the vegan scones. They weren't touching and were spaced apart, but there is still a possibility of cross-contamination. The staff wore gloves when handling the pastries and seemed to take the proper precautions. They were very upfront about their food handling practices, answered all of my questions, and provided excellent customer service. The café itself was very clean, beautifully designed, and had a welcoming atmosphere. I originally wanted to order the Fruity Pebbles Matcha, which was a limited-time spring drink. Unfortunately, they couldn't make it with oat milk because the Fruity Pebbles mixture was already premade with whole milk. Instead, I ordered the Brown Butter Toffee Latte with oat milk. I got the 12 oz because I wasn't sure I'd finish it, but honestly, I should have ordered the larger size. It was that good. The flavor was rich without being overly sweet, which I really appreciated since I don't usually enjoy overly sugary drinks. My brother ordered the Peach Bellini and added a splash of lemonade. He let me try it, and it was incredibly refreshing. The peach flavor came through nicely without being overpowering, and the balance between the peach puree, black tea, and lemonade was just right. He also ordered a brioche tart topped with raspberries, blackberries, and vanilla custard, which he said was fluffy, flavorful, and delicious. I would definitely come back when I'm in the area for another Brown Butter Toffee Latte and gluten-free scone. Just a little disclaimer from someone who's still pretty new to navigating celiac disease: I'm still learning what works best for me and what risks I'm personally comfortable taking. While I understand there is always a possibility of cross-contamination in a shared facility, I also know that living with celiac and multiple food allergies can feel very limiting at times. For me, seeing a business be transparent, answer questions honestly, and take reasonable precautions helps me make an informed decision. Everyone's comfort level and sensitivity is different, so if you have celiac disease, please use your own judgment and do what feels safest for you.
