I'm a coffee snob. When I order a latte or anything with flavor in it, I want to taste the coffee more than I do the milk or syrups, so I always have to order extra shots of espresso. They have a toasted vanilla brown sugar latte that is pretty remarkable--not sure how they make it but it's definitely tasty. I usually order one extra shot but I might have to try adding one more because it's still a little too weak for my tar-filled insides. My only complaint is that it's pretty crowded inside. Not just from the amount of patrons that are usually coming in for a hot cuppa... but the flow of the place is just a little cramped. This is a nice and cozy coffee shop with delicious bagel sandwhiches and coffee! I ordered the funky monkey which has peanut butter and banana syrup - it's a bit on the sweeter side and was a nice refreshing treat! I immediately felt a sense of community and comfort. But something that also stuck out is the pride for Law enforcement! I also noticed the support in small owned businesses where there's a shelf with homemade sourdough bread for sale, an area for crafty handmade trinkets, and the shrine of patches and challenger coins for law enforcement! But of course, the drinks and goods are ofc the selling point. I enjoy their breakfast sandwiches the most, the coffee is a bonus lol! All in all I love the feeling of supporting locally owned businesses. It wasn't as expensive as other places but it was not good. It was so CHALKY. I'm not sure if it was a product problem or the way it was executed, but I had two sips and had to throw it out. Disappointing. Lastly, I wish I had taken photos but there are two trash cans on either side of the entrance and they were not just full but overflowing. We were sitting outside and that was absolutely disgusting. I'm honestly so sad I don't live nearby, but I'll definitely be coming back if I'm ever in the area again, especially if I visit Temecula for the wineries. While the owner cares quite a bit, the baristas don't have the same pride in their work, and the result is that while usually you get what you expected, that a very good amount of the time, you will wait eons for a bad coffee or a wrong order because it's lower priority to the barista than socializing or social media. Given home vs out cost, even if it means going less frequently, Id rather pay a bit more for the peace of mind than play roulette with my time and drink, just to save a couple bucks. Given the distance from home, I'll probably be back, but unfortunately I think it's time to find a new regular spot. read more

They excel at giving you your caffeine fix, along with a small number of pastry treats and sandwiches. It reminded us of similar places you find all over Seattle... bohemian decor with comfy high-back chairs. We could have lounged here, all day. Came here for the first time today and my experience was extremely disappointing. From the second we arrived to the register and were looking over the menu we were meet with a smug face. We received our drinks quickly but were disappointed in the quality. Too sweet, too milky, the matcha we ordered tastes like straight sugar milk. We continue to wait for our food and we eventually asked how much longer after seeing other people receive their order. The employee then proceeds to say it has been sitting in the back ready yet they never called it out. The food order itself was also incorrect, likely due to the employee on register not taking the time repeat the order back or a lack of care from the kitchen staff. The bacon was also undercooked. As we walked out we heard employees gossip behind bar. The environment is very hostile, employees with no care or intention. So it's pumpkin spice season and my hubby loves pumpkin anything, and I was on the hunt for a great hearty pumpkin loaf or muffin with no nuts or seeds or anything (he doesn't like them) and better buzz coffee had one, but it had walnuts inside and he immediately spit it out and said "ew" so I had a pickup from Temecula grind coffee Co. and they had a pumpkin loaf, nothing in it or on it and they were the size of Starbucks ones, but they were sold out when I went in there when my work was slow and they were all sold out by 10 am, so I saw that they had a pumpkin streusel muffin like the other place, so I asked "Is there any nuts or seeds of any kind anywhere in or on the muffin?" And the staff was amazing! The manager personally looked at their ingredient list to make sure their muffins didn't have have nuts and he looked in a muffin as well to double check. And the place is crowded and small, huge lounge chairs that cover half the floor space, so he careful when going in, but it's a super populated coffee shop and VERY popular! Highly recommend this place! My hubby even said this is his new place for his breakfast when he wants to treat himself!
