So, pretty much wherever there is a beach and summer tourists, you'll find a Sunsations. Need a souvenir for the kiddies, cousins, in-laws, or co-workers? You'll find it here. Flip-flops, keychains, stuffed animals, refrigerator magnets, sweatshirts, beach mats, boogie boards, bathing suits, and T-shirts are everywhere. I picked up a super nice long sleeved neon orange Rehoboth Beach logo'd T-shirt today for the bargain basement price of just ten buckaroos. And best of all, there is no sales tax in Delaware, so ten bucks is ten bucks is ten bucks.

Yes, there are two of them, within walking distance, at different addresses, but have been combined into this one Yelp location. I came in here with a purpose. I have become one of those people that buy a magnet while on visits. My fridge is becoming a monument to places/cities visited. I also kind of wanted to browse through all the stuff that isn't necessarily on my list to buy. There are quite a few magnets you can choose from. The gimmicky magnets with names on them and then the farfetched magnets that you struggle to figure out the connection to the area. I found a magnet for myself and made my way to the register to pay. Surprisingly the store was not all that busy even though outside really was extremely busy. It made for a quick stop and I was on my way.

Outside the store front was easy to find and entrance labeled. Nice location being on a busy local beach street - I visited here on vacation so definitely can see that this is a great place to stop in for tourists while also could cater to locals. Inside, the store itself felt tidy with things put away and things looking clean. I love it when shelves look dusted and centered, and I hate to see trash thrown around the store (I know it is not store's fault that customer litters - it just makes me hate people in general when I see it). Genres and sections were labeled so it was easy to glance at the signs and try to figure out where things were. Things were marked and priced fairly considering it was a small business. The displays were adorable. I felt like there was a wide mix of different curated interests in each section. I adored the Off-Campus display and the Dolly Parton (RIP) display. I noticed a coffee shop area in front corner area of store - I did not purchase anything from it or pay much attention to it, but it looked like a plausible option if you wanted to get a beverage and browse. Staff was very helpful and gave great customer service. Very pleasant during checkout. At one point an associate saw me looking at items behind the register and offered assistance. Embarrassingly I ended up thinking I lost my water bottle in the store and the store associates kindly took down my phone number and offered to call me if they found it! It was very nice consideration although I will note that I found it in a different store I stopped in, so cannot confirm if they would actually call you if you lost something there. But they gave the energy they would! I ended up buying some plushies and stickers! Overall, I enjoyed my time there! Seems like a great friendly place you can go in to look for a specific book or casually browse. A wide multitude of different things to browse or purchase, products fairly organized and prices seem very fair!

I saw an outfit that was hung up (with a belt and necklace) and I told the store associate that I wanted to try it. She showed me where it can be found on the rack which usually I'd be fine with. However, they didn't have the color of either the pants or the blouse that I was looking for and I asked if she can bring the outfit down for me to try. She basically said no since it would be a lot of work for her to take it down and put it back..... who says that?! I was fully intent on buying the entire outfit if I liked it. This place's clothes are not cheap and that outfit is easily around $225-$250. For a purchase that big, I am not going to just try different colors of that outfit and guess if the color I was actually wanting will look good on me. Thats not how that works. Because of my that lazy sales associate, she cost the store a big sale and me a good first time shopping experience. Very disappointed because they have really nice clothes but there customer service did not match it.

She said again we are told to follow people. I said well clearly u are gonna lose customers you and your employees made me feel uncomfortable. So Spend your money elsewhere. It is ridiculous to harass someone who is shopping . If I could give a zero I would.

This store had so many amazing and colorful kites. The toy selection was overwhelming, but in a good way. Honestly, I thought they would have more of a toy selection but I was impressed by the large amount of kites and flags. We have not flown a kite in years but seeing all of them made us want to fly a kite. I see that it would be very appealing to stop by the store on a beach day, purchase one, and then fly on the beach next door. Or even just to stop in, browse and feel nostalgia when you are walking down the beach boardwalk. The toys felt like a random variety. I LOVE Palm Pal plushies so I loved that they had a pretty big section for them and they were all neatly displayed. But that is my preference. Everything else felt random, but then again I'm not a child so I cannot speak fully to what is and isn't a trend. I will note if you are sensitive to loud noises or have sensory concerns, there was a loud section in front of the store of those barking animatronic dog toy things. We found them to be obnoxious but manageable if you ventured deeper into the store. However, walking by that corner to exit I think they were triggered by motion so they started barking louder. So especially if you walk in through that section or try to browse near that section, I would caution its loud. Prices a little pricier than typical store prices but this is a store right on the beach. I purchased a fun little seagull magnet at $5.99. Customer service wasn't anything special and sales associate didn't really engage us. Just more of typical formalities when checking out. I don't think we would come in here again except if I wanted to purchase a kite or a Palm Pal.
