    Coffee Togo

I ordered a bean and cheese burrito with a coffee con leche Togo and it was so good I came back the next day. The place smells like your tias kitchen while she's making tortillas. Very pretty Christmas tree up front. The service was great, I wish everyone in the world was as nice as they were to me here . You can feel it's very genuine local people.

Excellent breakfast for the weary traveler. Ordered huevos rancheros with the eggs over hard. Also at the table was the huevos machacado. The coffee was never ending and the service was excellent! The staff so friendly. Would certainly recommend.

Seafood soup has a wonderful taste with so many seafood in there like the menu mentions like fish, shrimp, mussels.

We just stopped by this restaurant with a little expectation but the food were amazing over our expectations . Plenty seafood on the soup and well-done job on making Steak with a good prices. Restroom was super clean . Very nice decor and well attention host. I definitely recommend this restaurant for any tourists are around Big Bend National Park to try out . We stopped by on a Monday night . It took us a little wait as the restaurant was short on staff. One lady did all the job as hosting, serving and cashier but she was still very joyful with us. She deserves a raise and good tip .

I came across the Bean cafe, and I am so happy and thankful I did! I ordered the salmon Dish, it was just perfect. It was nice and juicy, with just the right crunchiness. It came with wild rice, slices of squash, a really yummy slice of bread and a slice of limón. Staff was very friendly. Thank you The Bean Cafe!

Atmosphere: The atmosphere of "The Bean Cafe" was very comforting. Walking in I was able to feel the homely and nice vibes of the staff as well as the place itself. My friends and I were told to sit anywhere and were then greeted with fast and great service. Table Upon sitting down at the table, we had a waitress there in as less as a minute and this goes for both times that my friends and I were there. They quickly took our drink orders and came back very fast. The menu had a wide enough variety to satisfy everyone and more. We got there for breakfast the first time and ordered 2 Sparta Specials and some normal breakfast food. The food was amazing and the price was very low for the quality. They made the eggs perfectly as well as the pancakes and french toast, with I nice added bonus of bananas. As per lunch, the experience was just as amazing and wish there was a place like this in my hometown. Food The food of "The Bean Cafe" was absolutely amazing, for the price that the food was at. The Brad Burger that I ate myself especially was absolutely delicious and was pleasantly surprised to see that the onion rings as well were very tasty! All of my friends had no complaints either! Overall The experience was so good that my friends and we had to come back after exploring Big Bend Ranch State Park. If you are in need of good, fast, and courteous service, then this is place the go in Presidio.

The first time I went to check it out I was offput by the QR code ordering nonsense. The employees were completely locked to their phones doomscrolling and it was difficult to get anyone's attention. Food was pretty weak, but acceptable for a diner. Price was ok. Then tonight I thinks to myself, I can't sleep, I should try that diner again - so I go out there at 1:30a and all the employees are hanging out in the parking lot playing with a car and tell me the diner is closed. Come back in a few hours. If you're driving through Alpine and you want a mediocre burger that isn't going to end up costing you $45, maybe it's worth a stop (it isn't) - but definitely don't go a single mile out of your way for it. They do not care at all and they really want you to know that.

It's always a good sign when the parking lot is full in the middle of the week. Got a seat inside and waited. Then waited some more. The hostess seated a 14-top and we decided that we would leave if their orders went in first. BUT finally - a waitress. Friendly, though obviously harried by the unexpected mid-week bonanza. Drinks & food order in!! Margarita for me, Dos Equis for him, chili con queso, spicy chicken sandwich as shared plates. $22 marg was ABSOLUTELY worth it. Queso was SO good, with hefty chips made just right. Spice in the chicken - yes please. Did we wait, yes. Did we mind, NO. BEST PART - the people watching was PRIME. We could've passed another round & been entertained until closing but folks were waiting for tables and i was just buzzed enough on the ONE marg. Looking forward to tomorrow when we try a burger & cheesecake.

Unfortunately, this establishment did not feel family friendly or kid friendly despite presenting itself that way. After waiting around 10 minutes just for someone in our party to grab menus, we were eventually served water and later had our orders taken. However, the overall attitude and repeated glares from the waitress/bartender, Gary Jean, made the experience uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Good service goes a long way, and basic kindness shouldn't feel like too much to ask. It became clear that receiving decent service was going to be more effort than it should have been, so we decided to leave before our food even arrived. To management: supporting your staff better may help improve the customer experience overall. A little hospitality can make a big difference.

The burger patty was dry and chewy. They were out of ketchup or any other condiment, so the dry burger had to be paired with stale, cold fries. Again, being the only option in the park, they can get away with anything short of poison. We had to go with this option as we were on a schedule, but I would recommend just bringing your own food to the park. Servers were friendly, however. The restaurant seemed nice on the inside. The floor to ceiling windows allow great views while dining. Hopefully they serve you better food when dining in. Again, I would only order from here if I had no other options.

It is easily the heartbeat of the area, offering a dining experience that perfectly captures the eclectic, rugged, and friendly spirit of West Texas. Be prepared this place is popular for a reason. Wait times can easily reach the two-hour mark, but don't let that deter you. The trick is to put your name in first, then immediately pivot to "vacation mode." Grab a drink and an appetizer from the bar and head outside. The porch and the surrounding area become a lively social hub where locals and tourists mix seamlessly. The atmosphere is what truly sets Starlight apart. While we were waiting for our table, a couple of locals claimed the large bench right outside and broke into a spontaneous, spirited rendition of The Jungle Book theme songs! It was pure magic. My kids were completely enthralled by the performance, which turned a long wait into one of the highlights of our trip. It gave my husband and me the perfect window to relax with our drinks and soak in the desert air. The food lived up to the hype of the setting: Smoked Brisket Queso: This is an absolute must-order. It's rich, smoky, and the perfect fuel for a Ghost Town evening. Prickly Pear Margarita: Vibrant, delicious, and refreshing it's the quintessential West Texas cocktail. The Main Course: We ordered a variety of kid-friendly items and the Brisket Tacos. While everything we ate was delicious, be aware that their famous Texas Mesquite Smoked Brisket is in high demand they had unfortunately run out by the time we were seated, so get there early if that's your primary goal! The Starlight Theater isn't just a restaurant; it's an event. Between the incredible live local interactions, the "only-in-Terlingua" scenery, and the solid food and drink, it is a 5-star experience.
