Highly recommend this if you're in the area! We stayed at Terlingua Ranch 3 nights, and each morning on our way into the park, we stopped at Canyon Brew for a latte and tea. The first two mornings I got the Dirty Hippie Latte (chai latte + espresso) and the third morning I got the Milky Way Latte. My husband got Earl Grey Tea each day. Service was fast and very friendly, and they had no problem with me using my Kleen Kanteen reusable mug. They have a wide selection of lattes in addition to standard drip coffee, as well as several teas. They also have an assortment of baked goods like bagels and muffins that looked and sounded good, but we didn't try any of them because we had already eaten elsewhere. Definitely walk up to the window if you're in town, and check the attached shop for a great selection of t-shirts, stickers, bandanas, reusable water bottles, etc!

Stopped for a quick coffee and some Sausage Kolaches before driving into Big Bend. Super nice ladies running this small little coffee stand.

Talk about small town charm with big city quality food…read more I'm in town for work and I was recommended this place by a state trooper who had to remind me of the speed limit on my way from Austin. The first morning I tried it out, I have been back everyday since. It starts with the staff. You enter and seat yourself and Bertha is with you almost immediately with a huge smile on her face and the softest sweetest voice. It's a small town and slower paced but the food arrives quickly. Now I'm not going to lie, this isn't a Michelin star restaurant and I actually prefer it that way out here. The quality and flavors are perfect, not exaggerated deconstructed nonsense. The food is made with love and the tortillas are made fresh in house. I'm pretty sure everything is made fresh and from scratch but the tortillas are for sure. The owner is usually in and has introduced himself and said hello starting the second time I've come in. If you're in the Big Bend area, specifically Presidio, stop in and say hello to Bertha and get some good food that isn't crazy expensive. I forgot to mention, they sell bagged ice if you're in need and they don't have bs single ply toilet paper in the restroom either. HUGE plus I'm my book.

Very worth it. Didn't know how a place out here had such a high rating with so many reviews…read more Starting with the greeting and the chips with salsa, I was understanding. Got the green sauce chicken enchiladas. Geez, perfect in every way. Most restaurants save their dried out chicken for the enchiladas, this place doesn't. There's not a thing I could say to improve or complain about. Friendly people, superb food, modern looking restaurant. Well, well worth the price.

That said, it's a cool spot with great people and I'd happily go back. I ordered their signature breakfast sandwich, egg, bacon, and cheese on a biscuit. It was good, not mind-blowing. The biscuit was a little dry, which was a bummer since that's supposed to be the star of the show. I kept wishing for some butter or sauce to bring it together. On the flip side, I also grabbed a slice of cake and that was excellent, easily my favorite thing I ate there. For drinks, I got a matcha latte. They warned me the matcha was a bit earthy and suggested adding sweetener, which I did. I always wonder if "earthy" is code for lower-quality matcha, if ceremonial matcha doesn't really need sugar, but with the sweetener it was totally fine and enjoyable. The space itself is cute and very Marfa. It's in a converted gas station that's part coffee shop, part vintage clothing store, with vintage motorcycles to keep the gas station theme going. There are only a couple of tables, and it's not really a place I felt like lingering with a book or a laptop. More of a grab-a-coffee-and-move-on kind of spot. If you're visiting Marfa and heading out to explore, it's perfect for that. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. They were attentive, brought my food to the table even though they initially said it would be window pickup, and the place is dog-friendly, very relaxed, and unpretentious. I'd absolutely come back the next time I'm in town.

They make some excellent drinks and the staff is very friendly. The shop is in a old gas station so there is plenty of parking and places to sit inside and out. This is a very chill shop with relaxing vibes in the creative town of Marfa Texas. Marfa, by the way, is a pretty awesome place to visit :)

I got a Ham, Egg and Cheese Croissant and my husband got an Egg Sandwich. Both breakfast sandwiches tasted great! We also both got coffees that hit the spot! We're pretty plain re: coffees. We get either black cold brews or black iced coffees. We're just looking for the extra caffeine which V6 nailed!! Service was great- the employee we interacted with was so kind and personable! The shop itself was too cute and loved the decor around! One of our fav parts?! There was a cafe cat that was way too sweet!

First off, the address directions via GPS were not correct, it's actually a block down from where GPS leads you... so, after circling around a couple of times, I finally found it. It was worth the effort... I had both the Mexican hot chocolate and the matcha. Very yummy, and just the energy I needed early in the morning for the drives to Big Bend NP and back to Amarillo, respectively. A friend got the yogurt and fruit and found it very filling with a side of breakfast potatoes. On both days I got a burrito. They added avocado and sour cream which gave just the right touch to an already delicious burrito. The staff was so friendly and answered questions about menu items and customizing options. The house kitty was also very friendly. The cafe is small, but there was no problem with seating early in the morning. The artwork on the walls is interesting and western in theme. Everything was warm, clean and inviting. This is definitely the place to stop when you're in the area.
