We love coming here whenever we're in town. Good food and a huge drink selection. Sit outside on the shady patio

Slow slow service, food was good, they have a nursery in the restaurant, kids running around, noisy, not the best ambiance.

The bathtub had somekind of dirt or something coming from the ceiling in it. Needless to say we did not take showers. The bed and the pillows I believe were the original ones from when the place was built, not good at all. The bed made noise everytime you moved and you rolled right to the middle of the bed and the bedspread had big yellow stains on it. The windows and windowsills were bad, cobwebs and dirty. You could see through the curtains, the light from outside came right through them. The carpet was DIRTY. Outside was just as bad, the chairs that were on the little porches were broken and hadn't been cleaned in years. The owners of this place have not done a good job keeping it up-to-date. The town is small so you don't have a big choice were to stay. Won't be doing it again.

The buildings and grounds are neat and well kept up. The family that run the motel were very nice and were helpful with advice about where to eat, things to do etc. Our cabin was clean, large and furnished with a table, 3 chairs and dresser. There was a kitchen area that had a coffee maker, microwave, sink and fridge. The bathroom has a full tub and plenty of space. The towels were nice and thick. The air conditioner worked great, if a little louder than I like. There was very little noise from the highway. For $60, this was a deal!

We stayed during ski season and here are the things I was most happy with (in no particular order): * The said it was a continental breakfast so I wasn't expecting all they offered like fresh local bagels and pastries, fresh berries, cut up pineapple, Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, a very high quality granola, oatmeal with all the fixings, a pancake machine, juices, coffees with syrups and milks, lots of high quality tea choices, scrabbled eggs allow and with some mix-ins sometimes cheese or veggie, hard boiled eggs, meat like bacon sausage patties or links, sometime or potato like hash brown patties or shedded hash browns, roasted veggies, and on the weekend days they offered salmon with capers and onions. Plus flavored yogurts in individual containers and whole fruit like apples, oranges, and bananas. * humidifiers in the room. The hotel is so dry. We live at elevation in Park City, UT but Ketchum is drier! We ran the humidifier on high constantly but it was so great they offered this in the room. * they have a parking garage. It is $30/day AND there are easy access free spots around the hotel, but I imagine during peak season the offered parking is best. And it's covered so your car will be snow-free! * the heated pool for year round enjoyment (and two hot tubs). The air was too cold for my liking (because you have to get out eventually). * pretty decent gym with peloton bikes. * oh and the restaurant happy hour seems to be a hit with hotel guests and locals. The one huge downside was because it's so dry and they don't have a humidifier installed for the hotel, we got static shocked every time we touched the elevator buttons or unlocking our room. And it hurt! And when you're in town, I recommend the city museum, the wolf museum, the library, and the cemetery. And if the pedestrian paths are snow-free then head down Sun Valley Road.

The small rooms were average hotel fare with dated carpeting and decor. And the cost was too much for the lack of quality including unprofessional help, no valet for parking or bags. They just seem like a cheap hotel chain that doesn't care. Did I mention that it was empty at the height of the summer season. Should have been a clue.

I deal with intoxicated people almost daily so it didn't bother me but it was unprofessional. We got through it. When I walked in I saw a dark spot on the floor. Touched it with my toe, it was wet so naturally I get on my hands and knees to smell it. Call me weird, I don't care. Turns out it's dog pee. Cool. Because I got the last room and the employee was drunk I opted not to bother telling him. What else was he gonna do? Flip flops on all night. The room was fine, like I said, I didn't expect much. It was a place to sleep and shower. When I checked out the next morning I told the employee about it. He was more sober and admitted he'd started in the Jack a little early the day before. I told him about the wet pee and he was upset about it. He asked why I didn't tell him and I responded that he gave me the last room and what else was he gonna do? He walked off to go look at the room and said they'd refund me. Still waiting for that refund. Quite the experience.
