A gem of a hotel in Ketchum. Beautifully appointed rooms, good food, and great amenities (refillable water bottles, comfy robes, ski storage, and heated outdoor pool/hot tubs) are complimented by a super staff.

If you are visiting our town and not staying at the Limelight Hotel, a visit to the bar/restaurant is a must any time of the year. The food and cocktails are delicious and wonderful, seating inside and or outside depending on the season. Beautiful seating spots on couches and or tables along with TVs to watch games, play games and a kids play room all available in the lobby area. Also live music year round is available. A must to visit! margaritas are my fave's along with either the fried chicken sando or the pizza! Go and enjoy!

Beautiful, unique lobby. Large, clean, well appointed room with a balcony and view. Excellent, hot, varied breakfasts, including pastries, eggs, bacon, juices, coffee, etc. Very good Old Fashioneds, created by a conversational and friendly bartender. Shuffleboard, cornhole toss, and ping-pong tables are avaiolable. The pool is heated and quite small, but the large outdoor patios are attractive and shaded. The $20 nightly fee for garage parking was reasonable enough, but I was charged $50/day for my pet, which seems exorbitant, even in Ketchum. The second night I was there the room immediately adjacent to me was rented to a group of rowdy, drunken, loud-rap-music-playing teenagers or college students, which cheapened the experience considerably. Finally, I decided to leave one day early, and though the garage and pet fees were supposedly reversed, I was still charged for that day.

This hotel is great! We stayed for 2 nights on business in a queen terrace room. The room was spacious and well thought out. A mini kitchenette, beautiful bathroom, comfortable beds, a nice tv and even a desk/table area. The patio had a beautiful view of the mountains. There is underground parking available for $20 a day. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. This is a pricey hotel but it's completely worth the price! Loved our stay here!

Injuries I received on the pitch dark patio of the Liimelight hotel they refused to take responsibility of.

I will admit I rolled my eyes when I heard we were going to a hotel bar. But after the night was over this ended up being my favorite stop of the night. This place felt like a bunch of grownups hanging out a recess. Shuffleboard over there, giggling over here, all with drinks. At some point in time a dog was hanging out next to us being cute. You can listen to live music (when it is playing of course, I would suggest that the live music play later into the night because the artist ended pretty early), you can watch a game in tv you can even ditch your kids in a kids room OR you can be an adult kid in the kid room and play Wii or read a book. Our service was awesome and our server had some fun with us. One of the drinks was wrong and he fixed it right away and didn't make it a big deal. There was a point in time where I was running around standing near things that I matched and ended up with a lamp shade on my head. (See image- I wore a lime green sweater and I matched the decor.) I thought I would get in trouble but everyone was joining in on the laughs, even the people working there. Drinks fab-o, food fab-o, fun fab-o!

The food was pretty good but it's pretty expensive. I had a plate of pasta with shrimp and it ran 45 bucks once I gave a tip.

The pork chop was a favorite, and the baked potatoes are Idaho sized so be mindful but it's recommended. The mocha pie was a favorite even for those of us who don't care for dessert or care for coffee flavored items, so give that a shot it was very good. Overall it's a must hit spot when in town no matter your party size or age. Get your name in early and eat up!!

At 8pm they are out of prime rib, halibut, trout, artichokes, ribs, and salad! WHAT is going on? I do understand this sort of thing happening on occasion, but literally the last 4-5 times anyone in our family has attempted eating here, it has been such a bad experience like this! Bad food, out of main staple items, or summoned to the dreaded basement... Unfortunately, after 46 years of dining at Pioneer, I think we are done! The past several seasons, something seems different. Always out of MANY items, and service is blah! It was literally a family favorite, so it's sad to even be typing this!!! Shout out to Sawtooth Club for getting us in last minute and serving a delicious meal! We will be back to support them!

I work in food service (as a chef and owner) of an establishment here in Idaho. I am highly…read moreeducated (masters degree) and very experienced career wise. We are visiting town to support an event for the culinary world and wanted to try some local establishments. I took my wife and the food was wonderful. We had the yellow tail and two pasta dishes. The yellowtail was perfect but I did feel as if the past was a little "too on the "al dente" side. The being said, I did thoroughly enjoy the food. However; from the moment we walked in the door, we were treated as a nuisance and felt unimportant/unwanted. The hostess was atrocious and made it very clear we were being judged while rolling her eyes to common questions like "do we need a reservation or can we be placed on the list or seated." After she did common tasks during our conversation (and briefly stepping away), we were able to get her to seat us (after asking again). This started us off with hesitation which was only further exacerbated by the staff taking our order and not refilling our alcoholic drinks. We love to enjoy experiences and are not afraid to spend our hard earned money - sadly, this made our time here short lived. We were not informed if there was a dress code that established our treatment/experience here. If so, the messaging would be received poorly due to the fact that we were wearing similar -to- identical attireTo the wait staff. Again, I severely dislike doing reviews like this as someone that's a chef and owner in the industry.

We were excited to try The Covey and left feeling a little disappointed…read more First, The quality of the yellowtail appetizer was excellent. It was fresh, beautifully prepared, and clearly handled with care. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience didn't quite live up to the quality of the ingredients. Both pasta dishes had an unusually chewy, almost sticky texture that wasn't for us, and our empty glasses sat for about 20 minutes without anyone checking in. We would have happily ordered another round. What stuck with us most, though, was the feeling that we were being judged for walking in wearing our work clothes. As fellow restaurant people, we understand showing up after a long shift, so it felt a little out of place, especially in a room where the dress code for guests seemed far more formal than it was for the staff. Hospitality is about making every guest feel welcome, regardless of what they're wearing. There's obvious talent in the kitchen, particularly with the seafood, and we genuinely hope this was just an off night. We'd be happy to give The Covey another chance.
