After thinking I might grow out my undercut, I got irritated with it and went looking for a barber after my lady left the place I used to go. I always walk by The Bearded Lady on my way to West Oak or Summit, and figured I'd check it out. Online booking was a piece of cake, and I was able to get in with Lele on the same day. Lucky me!! Lele is amazing - tons of attention to detail (my fade is sick), super friendly, and clearly a top shelf human. I was seen right away (despite being about 15 minutes early for my appointment) and made to feel welcome. This is my new go-to spot! read more

I'm extremely particular about my hair & who cuts it. My normal barber in Sherman was booked & I needed a last minute fade for my buddies wedding. Back in college I went to see Matteo at the Truck behind EastSide, he was always gave the best cuts. He has since left The Bearded Lady & I had limited options with it being such short notice. Alli had availability Friday afternoon so I gave it a shot. She was extremely nice & friendly. The fade was not great but I'm also terrible at communicating what exactly I want done to new barbers. Trash "barbershop" definitely one of the worst cuts ever. Barbershops should employ BARBERS, not a stylist who can't perform simple tapers.

Been meaning to check this place out for a while and finally got a chance today. Booking online was super easy, and I got a great cut from Joe Medina over in the storefront. He's a nice guy, the cut looks great, and he got my neckline the way I'd been trying to do myself but was failing miserably at. It's a cool space - kind of bare bones but has a legit Denton feel. Any barbershop with a pre-haircut shot of whiskey and Dropkick Murphys on the stereo is my kind of place. Price was comparable with any salon in town but more than most barbers. I thought it was totally worth it. Definitely be back next time I need a cut. read more

This shop wasn't clean and the quality of work was below average. The entire time I was in the shop the barbers were listening to a profanity laced podcast at a volume so load that it was impossible to have a conversation about the services they attempted to deliver.. The customer next to me was Asian, and this podcast was making inappropriate jokes about Asians. TOTALLY unacceptable! I will never return to this shop. read more

Don't go here if you're expecting a fancy, salon-type place. It's a true barbershop with no BS barbers who do really solid cuts. Online scheduling is also very efficient and prices are great for what you get. Won't get my haircut anywhere else while living in DFW. read more

Marie always makes my husband look clean cut and handsome. So far he has been twice and both times have been great. Highly recommend her. Also my husband says the shop is so down to earth, original is the only way to describe it. Listening to Nirvana is a plus too. read more

Cool back-room barber shop on the square with easy online booking - Got a high fade cut from Ashley and she did a great job! I've learned to cut my own hair to save money over the years, but she did a MUCH better job and is making me reconsider my DIY habit...
