A MUST DO! A FREE EVENT & FREE PARKING! The Beatles Mural is one of LA's Secret Hidden Gems. It stands some 80 feet tall. But before I let you know about the mural, there is some great new news about The Beatles. They have just released a Special Edition of the Beatles 1970 Album Let it Be.
This is one of the Beatles best albums even with all the turmoil & in fighting
& the disbanding of the group. The album produced their last 2 Huge Monster singles Let It Be which became an anthem & hit #1 on the Billboard Charts in April of 1970. Their last #1 song was The Long & Winding Road & topped the Billboard Charts in June 1970.
The album also includes Get Back & many other tracks. This new mixed album Is in stereo, 5.1 surround DTS and Dolby Atmos. There are also previously unreleased recordings. And you'll be able to hear things that were buried on the records that you never really heard on the original 45s & LP. There's also Rehearsal & Chat by the Fab Four. Also the movie gets an uplift as well. It will all be available on multiple formats including a Vinyl Lp, CD, & Blue Ray for the movie. There's a book & the movie will be available on Digital & Streaming Services too. Also Paul McCartney has a new Docu Series on Hulu called McCartney 321, you should check that out as well.
THE WALL MURAL
The wall mural is located on Santa Monica Blvd & Wilton Pl. in Hollywood. Many people pass by here all the time & have never seen it because it is hidden on the back side of The Derby apartments. The Beatles Mural was painted by Hector Ponce. There is strip mall in front where you can partially see the mural. Park your car on the street & cross the street, you'll be able to see the strip mall & a partial view of the mural. Then cross the street & walk around & go to the back side of the building. There is a fence & you will be able to see the Mural in its entirety from there. You can't get closer because the fence is closed except for residents who live here. It is a really Cool Picture of The Fab Four. Now next to the Beatles mural is another cool 80 foot mural & that of Elvis The King Marilyn Monroe & I'll Be Back Arnold Schwarzenegger. Just around the corner is another mural The Marlon Brando Mural that's near the strip mall.
