However, the ambiance was kind of lacking, specifically the very bright overhead office lights, it did not give spa vibes. Nina did a great job with my lashes, they came out beautifully. Before we started she asked what I hadn't liked about previous lifts from different places which I appreciated so she could get my lashes done just right. The only other downside was that someone else in the building was getting sculpting or laser treatment or something because there was this annoying beeping sound going off in one of the rooms next to us. I just had a consult with Chi about Genesis/IPL and lip filler and while she was helpful regarding the facial treatments, she was quite pushy with the lip filler, telling me that I'd want to get more than a syringe, and questioned why I didn't want to get lip flip/botox after saying no several times. She made me feel inadequate. She also said they wouldn't accept the Groupon deal though there is no restriction regarding 'new clients only' and it's against Groupon policy to refuse. My Genesis session experience with Cindy was amazing. She knows her stuff and she is really friendly. I appreciate that!

I had been going to one of these salons for at least 3 years. Her suite is currently located in the plaza across H-Mart and 24 Hour Fitness off of Balboa Ave in a secured building on the second floor. Her suite is cozy for Miss Kelly, her client, and the equipment she needs. I highly recommend Ms. Kelly and her services - both to those who are sensitive to pain, and even the "veterans" who have learned to "tough it out." Before booking, please take the time to read her website. You will notice that her pricing is higher than the regular waxing/sugaring establishments. This is because she takes her time prepping you and doing the wax itself, which is also why your appointment will be longer (this varies, of course). This is why the pain level is much more tolerable, and makes the price worth it. It has been a while since my first appointment with Ms. Kelly, but I have returned several times since. Customer service at LaserAway is a joke…read more I purchased a Thermage package for nearly $3,000. Before making the purchase, I specifically asked what would happen if I couldn't tolerate the pain, since I had never experienced the treatment before. I was assured that if I completed less than 10% of the treatment, I would be eligible for a full refund. I ended up doing barely one pass and simply could not tolerate the pain. When I requested a refund, I was told they would not issue one because I had apparently been given "misinformation" by their own staff. So now I'm stuck with nearly $3,000 in credit for services I don't want or need. That is completely unacceptable. I ended up using some of the credit on Clear + Brilliant, which was essentially pointless for me, and Botox with injectors that were inexperienced and horrible. The biggest issue here is that I made a major purchase based on information their employee gave me, and when that information turned out to be wrong, LaserAway refused to take responsibility for it.
