Where do I even start? I arrived for my appointment and Mayra wasn't ready--she was in the back dyeing her own bangs green. I found this incredibly unprofessional. When I go out to eat, I don't expect the waitress to sit down and eat with me, so I'm not sure why a hairstylist would think it's acceptable to work on their own hair when a client shows up. She eventually came over, dyed my roots, left again, and finally returned to wash my hair. When I asked for shoulder-length hair, she seemed surprised, even though my hair was well below my shoulders. It wasn't extremely long, but it was certainly long enough for a simple shoulder-length cut. Instead, I ended up with a bob. I'm not sure if she misunderstood what shoulder length means or if she thought my chin was my shoulder. I could see the panic in her eyes when she realized the mistake and offered to thin out my hair, but there was no way I was letting her cut anything else. Yes, hair grows back, but I had already mentioned that I had a wedding in two days. I was left trying to figure out how to style hair that's much shorter than what I asked for. I could have voiced my complete dissatisfaction, but honestly, it doesn't matter--they've lost a customer. read more

My experience at this salon was pretty average. The salon is in a nice location with plenty of parking. The staff is kind and courteous, and I appreciated their service. However, I wasn't really satisfied with the haircut itself. When I explained to the stylist what kind of cut I wanted, I showed her a picture of straight across bangs a little bit above the eyebrow. As soon as I showed her, she mentioned that she didn't specialize in these kind of bangs, and called them "bettie bangs," so I felt like she didn't really look at the picture since bettie bangs are rounded/more curved. I just wanted straight across bangs, but for them to be a little bit above the eyebrow. I will include the pictures I used for a reference. My bangs look okay-ish, and looked a little more wispy/thinner than what I wanted it to be (like the pictures I provided. Overall, I give the experience a 3/5. read more

I want to start this review by giving "Jessica" (owner) a huge thank you!! She squeezed me in on a Friday night, last minute for a color correction. I had a horrible experience at a different salon that morning and I had an event the next day. Of course on a Friday... EVERYONE is getting dolled up so I couldn't get an appointment anywhere. I have drove by this rather new salon a good amount of times so I decided to reach out and am I glad I did. I was greeted with a smile, seated right away , had my hair evaluated & she got started right away. We ended up being the last ones there since my treatment went after hours. She gave me great customer service! I was so thankful she was able to correct my hair issue. I've only been here once a while ago but was not happy with the service. Perhaps things have greatly improved. I think the biggest issue was despite having an appointment, the attention of the owner (stylist working on my hair) was torn so she jumped between me and someone else and it felt like she was rushing my cut to focus fully on the other person. The cut I received could have been half the price for the amount of effort that was put in and the fact I didn't receive anything I asked for. I just hope things are better now. read more

I've been coming to this salon for a couple of years now with different stylists and have always liked the service. Unfortunately, this past week I came in with virgin hair and asked for a cherry brown/red look (even had inspo pics). My hair is pretty dark but I let the stylist know I did have virgin hair and she said that wouldn't be a problem the hair would lift. After the color, my hair looked even darker than what I came in with and there was only a small hint of color. She noticed this and added more red and then told me it would look different in the light and to message her the next day if I was still unhappy bc she knew I wanted it lighter (hence she knew she didn't do it right). I messaged her the next day since my hair was still very dark. She asked me to come in 4 days later. I came in and showed her the inspo pics again and she claimed I showed her different pictures so she did my hair based off of that which I didn't, I had showed her the exact same pics. She had to remove/lighten the color she originally added and then add color. I was happier with the result (or so I thought) and left the salon thinking she did a good job. The next morning I noticed patches of color on the crown of my head. I went straight to the salon to show her but she was working on a client so the owner came and saw my hair. The owner said she would be able to fix the patches with toner in those spots and it was an easy fix. I appreciate her trying to fix her stylists wrongdoing but to no avail did this work. The owner told me I could go back a FOURTH time and she would fix my hair! The original stylist did not acknowledge me while the owner worked on my hair or try to apologize for the mistake which I think was the worst part out of all of this. Once again, I left with my hair still patchy and streaky. This time around I drove myself to the beauty supply store to buy black dye bc now I don't trust the salon dying my hair and rather go back to my natural hair color. I had to message the original stylist later that evening and ask for a refund for the services bc despite all of this I had originally paid her and when I came back a second time she had charged me for a blowout! She responded and gave a quick apology for the "inconvenience" and said I'd be refunded. I understand mistakes happen but this was more than one mistake and it was more than an "inconvenience" since my hair is now looking terrible and I'll be stuck trying to grow out all the dye. I have thick curly hair and will now have to spend time bringing my curls back to life. So the "inconvenience" did cost me years of taking care of my curls. Terrible experience. read more

Does a super good job but she always makes me wait , she takes my Balayge and always takes another girl it could be a haircut or toner but I always end up waiting a lot cuz she takes a lot of clients. First, my hair stylist wasn't very friendly and welcoming when I walked in. It took her well into the blow dry to make small talk. Second, the curls did not hold their shape for longer than a few hours. Usually when I get a blow dry, it can last up to 3 days with the same curls if I don't wash my hair. I'm so happy Jessica (The owner) has finally opened up her new salon! Jessica has been my go-to hairstylist for over 3 years now. She's been bleaching my hair (balayage) for the last 3 years and my hair has been the healthiest its ever been! When I first went to her my hair was dark brown/ almost black but slowly she decided to add bleach to my hair and now it's the prettiest blonde and very healthy. She also has a "good hand" (buena mano) I swear, my hair grows sooo fast after she cuts my hair. Now that I'm finally on a "Long Hair Journey" I plan to see her every 3 months for a trim. Not only is she super good at what she does, she's the sweetest, most kind hearted person you'll ever meet. Her beauty lab babes are also so sweet and professional.
