I made an appointment for a facial because my skin takes a toll during winter. If you're a first time client, you can schedule a skin analysis consultation to determine what the best treatment for you is. You can also select a personalized facial which includes a basic cleanse according to your skin type. This is the one I selected. I had not had a facial in over a decade and I forgot how relaxing they are! It was 45 minutes of pure bliss. Do yourself a favor and visit Jocelyn. She uses a steamer to open up your pores and then gets to work. It was so relaxing and the products she uses smell like fruit and something I'd eat. She mentioned they're natural products which I love since my skin is sensitive and can react to harsh chemicals. At the end, it felt like my skin was breathing. Jocelyn gave me a bunch of skin tips and said next time I can schedule a FreshGlo Facial, an ultimate deep cleanse facial focusing on nourishing the skin and targeting main concerns. Even the next day, my skin felt so soft and different from before. I'm hoping I can try the Dermapro Dermaplaining, where she uses a surgical blade to remove the topmost layer of dead skin along with peach fuzz. I've seen videos of this and it looks great! The building they're in is super cool with the exposed brick and industrial feel. I can't wait to try other services. I already booked a deep tissue massage. Come here to relieve everyday stress!

Went today with a group of girlfriends (6 of us) to spend the morning and get services. The…read morecustomer service was subpar at best unfortunately and the scalp detox wasnt anything special in the moment. I will see how my hair feels in the days coming and update accordingly. As to customer service, prior to coming (day or two before) I recieved a text message that my service is set for 2pm and to complete an intake form (which I did). When I arrived I was advised my service wasnt until 245 but everyone else in my group would be at 2. I asked why I recieved a text that my service was at 2 and they said we'll you can enjoy the lounge. I said well I am paying an extra fee to be able to use the lounge so I dont quite know how that is a response. Again I asked why was I sent a message that my service was at 2 when it isn't. They said they didn't know. I asked why I wasn't contacted to let me know I would be 45 minutes after everyone and for me to consider a different service. I was again provided no response and instead they attempted to blame the friend that book all of us (when she in fact was never told I would be delayed). I ended up going in at 2:51 (took a screenshot of my phone showing the time) as my friends were coming out and starting to hang out. They acted as if I was wrong for being a bit annoyed and offered no options or even apologies. Then when we went to check out they added in a 20% gratuity to each or our bills even though we were separate and didn't even tell 3 of the girls in our group that they did so and ended up getting way more of a tip than was reasonable even for exceptional service. The lounge is cute. But with the customer service, lack of communication, and overcharging people on a tip we will definitely not be back. I had heard good things about the Cypress Avenue Salon, and was referred to the chair of Jessica Pringle. She was spectacular! I left the salon with a very clean haircut, and the whole experience was positive and relaxing. The salon is clean and spacious, providing lots of personal space for each guest. I showed the stylist a reference photo and expected soft natural highlights, but the final result was completely different. After the appointment I tried multiple times to resolve the issue. I sent messages, called the salon, and even went back in person. Each time I was told the manager was not there and that they would call me back. I was repeatedly told they would contact me, but they never did. I was completely ignored and the issue was never addressed. Very disappointing experience and extremely poor customer service.
